I called the night before and scheduled the pick up. They came late but did call and let me know they were running behind. It was a really good experience. He was nice and professional. I would use them again, I just wish they were a little cheaper.

    I-40 Transmission
Originally called I-40 transmission on Friday 1/31/2014 to inquire on their rates and timeframe of service. I received a quote of between $950 and $1450 to rebuild the transmission on my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS. The warranty is for 12 months or 15,000 miles. Was also assured that the service would be able to be completed within one week. I called around for other local transmission repairs, but all quotes were much higher and would take 7 - 10 days to complete. So, I called back on Saturday 2/1/2014 to see if I could set up a tow from my home location. I reached I-40 Transmission and got the number of the towing service and set up the tow for the same day. That was a relief since the vehicle was now unable to run in any gear except 2nd gear! Received a call on Wednesday 2/5/2014 from I-40 Transmission notifying me that my transmission rebuild was completed and the cost would be $1375, which was within the cost estimate I was told. Went to pick it up my vehicle on Thursday 2/6/2014. Upon driving the car I was amazed at how smoothly it was shifting! I am very happy with the service I received and would absolutely recommend I-40 Transmission to everyone!

    Tricity Towing
My automobile overheated and stranded me at a busy intersection. The temperature outside was 109. A family member was able to leave work and take us home. I called TriCity and they picked up my car towed it to my home over 20 miles away and had it to me in less than two hours. The driver called me twice to keep me updated on his destination. He was very well mannered and helpful. Afterwards when I called the office on Monday for an invoice to submit to my insurance carrier, the employee offered to bring the invoice to my house if I needed him too. I've used this company once before and the service was just as excellent. Being stranded with a undriveable automobile can be frustrating, expensive, and scary. This company made it so easy and made me feel I had a friend during a miserable day.

It was speedy and it was very reasonably priced.  Best of all, I didn't have to tow my car to Firestone to replace my battery---they did it in my driveway in about 15 minutes.

I got there during open hours and that man knew what time I would be there and he made us wait 45 minutes then I didn't have what I needed so when I got back I had to wait another 15 minutes while he talked on the phone to a friend about an upcoming race, while cursing the whole time. I have never heard a man talk like that in front of a lady.

    JHook Towing & Recovery
I gave an older car of mine to a young family member.  He left the car too long in a parking lot from where it was eventually towed (by Hook.)  He was embarrassed, didn't have the money to retrieve it and told no one; not me or his parents.  Because the car was still in my name, I received a letter from Hook more than a MONTH after they towed the car.  They lied and said they had sent a prior notice a month earlier.  It's a lie because had I received it, I would have been there the same day.  Hook's storage fees are so exhorbitant, only an insane person would leave a vehicle with them a day longer than necessary.   They keep vehicles as long as possible without notifying owners in order to extort outrageous 'storage' fees.  I called them out on it and asked that they pro-rate the charges back to the date I SHOULD have received (but didn't) an initial notice.  I was immediately hung up on.  I called back and spoke to someone else who was equally unprofessional.  Then I got a call from the owner who turned out to be the single most horrible, unprofessional, irrational, unreasonable, bullying individual I've EVER encountered.  I felt threatened and bullied both on the phone and when I went there to pickup my car.  I get that they must deal with some difficult people in their line of business, but I'm a totally non-threatening middle-aged woman; I was horrified at how I was treated.   And the North Little Rock Police have evidently decided to turn a blind eye.   NO ONE should use this excuse for a business - ever.  They should be audited and investigated.  As a cash only business, I can only imagine other potentially illegal practices underway in addition to failing to timely notify vehicle owners.  They should be fined - or better yet SHUTTERED - and the heinous bully of an owner sent to jail, where he would fit right in.
