5 Things to Check Before Hiring an Electrician

Electrician reviews in Russellville

Doug came to our home and quoted the job himself, and then sent very professional men to perform the work. The two electricians were safe and very easy to work with. They billed me for materials that I provided by mistake and quickly corrected the bill. Doug was so apologetic about the wrong bill and he was so easy to work with. We will hire again!

I am very surprised by all the negative reviews, our installation went well.  Our initial appointment that was scheduled had to be changed but they were very flexible and came out on the weekend.  Mr. Logue had his family with him so instead of having them wait in the van we asked the kids to come in and play.  All parts of the installation went well and the fans all work great without any noise or wobble.  I submitted this review right after the service but didn't see it so I decided to write another one.  I would definitely use this service again and am sorry to see he is not on Angie's List anymore.

I bought the house from a builder that used this electrician and I do not know the price (in my opinion whatever the price it was too much) . When issues arose he was very unresponsive. When he did decide to contact us, about two months later, he did so when he was in route to my home. He expected me to wait for this long and then ask how high when he said jump. I have a real life too Mr. Thomas. He then told my builder that he would never return to my home because some one was not there to let him in. He gave about 20 minutes notice of his pending arrival. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! This is the only electrician on earth I will never hire in my life! Highly UN-Recommended!!!!

After purchasing the deal we were immediately contacted by Logue's and asked for dates that fit our schedule.  The first date we selected did not work out as there were power outages that they had to respond to and we rescheduled for the next week. Logue's showed up as promised the following week and the work was completed.  The service was completed in a timely and very professional manner and we were pleased with the final product.  The only suggestion I would have is to keep in touch with people through the service appointments to let them know the status.  We had to contact Logue's several times on the appointment days to find out the status or time the work would be completed. I appreciate the friendliness and quality of work performed and look forward to using Logue's services in the future.  I highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work completed.

Original plan was to separate existing ceiling lights controlled by 3-way switches in separate lighting controlled by independent switches. A second project was to add a switch leg to existing recessed lights in the living room and install 3-way switches to control the recessed lights. Upon inspection, Mr. Logue informed that due having to work in the attic in tight quarters (2-3' head space) he would have to work while lying in the approximately 5" of blown cellulose insulation, he would not do that.

Mr. Logue and his son did complete the other projects in 4 hours which I thought was good since the Big Deal was for 8 man hours. I realized that I would be responsible for materials used and a charge for working in the crawl space to install wiring. I was not prepared to learn that the extra charge for work under the house would nearly double the total cost.

Mr. Logue and his son were very efficient in their work. I was very surprised that he scheduled to come on New Year's day which was fine with me. After changing projects to be done, Mr. Logue and his son worked diligently to complete them.

I was pleased with the work performed. I only wish I had prior knowledge of the size of the extra charges that were added on. The ad for the Big Deal should be more informative concerning "extra charges" for work in an attic or crawl space. If I had known the extra charges could be up to several hundred dollars more, I might had reconsidered whether the Big Deal was really a real deal to take advantage of.

The electrical outlets in one room were out. I called 2 other electricians and lefts messages. Neither returned my call. Keith answered his own phone and although he could have been a bit more professional on the phone (he answered with and quot;helloand quot; so I wasn't sure I'd reached the right number) he was courteous and set a time and date to come over.
He called before arriving, was very personable yet still professional, and quickly got to work. He found the problem using good problem solving and critical thinking skills. The problem was only a lose screw in a light switch. He quickly fixed it, cleaned up after himself, and then agreed to look at our broken doorbell as well.
He had quoted a service call charge or $65.00 for an hour, but because the job was small, and took less time, he only charged $50.00. We paid $55.00 because we were very happy with the service.
I'll definitely call Keith for future electrical needs.

LIghtening storm blew out 2 LCD TV's.  They would not power on after the storm.  Searched for TV repair in Russellville and could not find one option.  Was recommended to Danny's in Morrilton, a 20 minute drive.  It was well worth not having to trash my two LCDs and buy 2 more.  Would highly recommend.  Planning on bringing my Bose ipod speaker to him very soon.

We had this company come and take a look at our ac unit, it would barely keep the house cool and it was running nonstop. The service man showed up on time and asked to see the unit so I showed him where it was at. On the way to the back of the house, he stopped to take a personal call on his phone which lasted a while, so I waited patiently. As soon as he had finished with his call he started making another call, he was talking in Spanich so I had no idea what he was talking about, but in the 45 minute duration of his visit, he took seven personal phone calls. On his sixth call, he was speaking in English and was holding our water hose letting the water just run and run while he was on the phone, and then he gave the person on the other line my address...10 minutes later, he unhooked the freeon tank, gathered up his hoses and ran to his truck and put the supplies in there while the people he had given my address to pulled up in my driveway. He walked over to their car and had a 15 minute conversation with these people and then he took something from them and put it in his pocket, ran in the house and put my filter back in place while it was still sopping wet and then took off...It was a very uneasy experience for me and my children, especially since my husband was at work. Very poor professional work. And to top it all off, my air conditioner is still having the same problems. I would not recommend this company.
