  • They showed up when they were supposed to, and did the job as agreed. They installed new piers and support beams under the house and jacked it back up to original elevation. The sheet rock cracks closed up, and the doors work again! Thank God somebody does this difficult and unique job. This is the second time I have needed them, on different houses, and they did great work at a very fair price!

  • I was thoroughly impressed with my whole experience through American Standard Foundation Repair. Upon the initial visit for the inspection I already felt good to just have them there to see what was going on. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in depth. Due to the situation, I was financially unable to have them perform the repairs. However, when I expressed that I was going to attempt to do it myself, they went above and beyond to answer any and all questions I had to get me pointed in the right direction. In the event I ever need any other related work done and are fincanially set to do so, without a doubt, they will be the ones I turn to.

  • John was GREAT!! He poured the concrete for our basketball goal and mounted the metal brackets. Weeks later, I called to see if he mounted Window Planter Boxes/Shutters into the brick. He was here later that week and had it done.

  • We bought an older home and had toilet backup issues just a few weeks after moving in. I called 3 "A" rated plumbers on Angie's List. Jack was very reasonably priced when compared to the other two I contacted (one of those companies wanted $370/hr on the weekend). Jack spent a 1/2 day trying to clear obstructions from the downstairs toilet -- he pulled out cotton shop towels, masking tape and other items likely left by remodelers hired by the previous owner. He also pulled tree roots out which was a bad sign. Unable to clear the blockage, he brought a crew back on Monday to trace the line using an electronic device. Since the line didn't have cleanouts, it's wasn't apparent how the line went from the house to the street. Jack brought an excavator and proceeded to take out the old line (which was packed full) and clear blockages both to the house and from the curb to the street. He installed new PVC pipe with 3 cleanouts. I'm thankful that we were able to connect to existing pipe and didn't have to tear up the new patio. Jack and his crew are a hard workers - spending 11+ hours on this job. He had given me a quote prior to doing the work and actually gave a significant discount since he didn't have to dig as deep as originally thought (4 ft. vs. 7 ft). I would trust him to do any work I have in the future and he will be the first one I call.

  • One thing to note is Johnson Brothers is a small company and thus they give unyielding attention to the client they are currently working with. This can be frustrating to those waiting but when it is your time in the spotlight boy do they shine. Not only did they tear down the deck in the rain, they placed footers in that you can set a house on, and after all of that the built the deck out about a foot past the described labor because it was the right thing to do. The door shocked us the most because this could be the one place the contractor could really take advantage of the customer. Well not the Johnson Brothers, Dean and Danny examined the door and once again went above and beyond to repair the damage, this time for good. Shockingly the work was on budget, on time, and exceeded our expectations. If you want someone honest, local, and refreshingly nice to deal with give them a call, Randy will be happy to bring you into their family of clients! I will use them again for any job that is above me and thanks to his partnerships even those jobs not in their scope. If you do call, again do not be alarmed if you wait a bit for your turn....believe me it is worth it. Thank you all so very much for taking care of us, without us having to watch you like hawks. It is so dang nice to find a contractor that is not just after a quick buck! See you all again soon!

  • The Rogers Water Department had been checking street valves and water usage in our neighborhood out at the lake. The water department tech notified me that I had a potential water leak. With the Tech present I shut off the main valve in the basement and the tech could still detected an audible leak with his acoustic equipment. An internet search lead me to "Cox Plumbing and Leak Detection". I didn't want someone to just find the leak, I needed someone who could troubleshoot the system from the street meter to determine if I really did have a leak and then if there was a leak to find and fix it. When I first called Cox Plumbing, Mindy answered the phone. I thought she was just an answering service(sorry for the profiling Mindy), but she knows her plumbing! As I described what had transpired with the water department tech she immediately told me that my basement shut-off valve type is a notorious leaker and just because I closed the house valve and the Tech could still hear water running in the system did not necessarily mean there was a leak between the meter and the house. She told me to fix all of my internal leaks and then recheck the meter. Three of four toilets were leaking and after putting in new toilet kits, the street meter showed "Zero" flow. Bingo !!!! Mindy saved me from digging up a concrete retaining wall and driveway to replace the flowline from the meter to the house. Once I fixed the leaks in the house however, my pipes began to rattle randomly whenever the water was NOT flowing. Checking the pressure in the house revealed that it was the same as the delivery pressure at the street(approx 110psi). A check of the pressure relief valve showed that no matter what setting I chose, the pressure would bleed back up to 110psi and the pipes would start rattling randomly again. The relief valve was bad and the cause of the transient vibrations. Another call to Mindy and an exchange of text messages with photos of the basement valve and piping arrangement lead to a quick estimate and appointment to change out the pressure reducer and add a new shutoff valve. The replacement was quick and clean. Mindy and Malcolm were very professional and explained everything(acoustics and leak detection) to my satisfaction. I could not recommend them more highly. The diagnostics and elimination of the possibility of an underground leak between the meter and the house which would have caused me to excavate into a concrete retaining wall and elevated driveway was priceless !!!!!

  • We bought an older house last year and discovered during heavy rains water would seep into the edges of the basement via the crawlspace.  We spoke to two different foundation companies who each had a very different and expensive idea to correct our issue.  Their ideas just didn't seem to make sense.  Then American Standard Foundation Repair was recommended to us and they were the first ones who seemed to know exactly how to handle the water issue.  They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, polite, and thorough.  They prepared a precisely drawn contract with everything itemized and gave us ample time to decide whether to move forward.  ASFR was on top of everything from the permitting phase through installation and all the way to clean up.  When they left we could hardly tell we'd had trenches dug all around the house.  We have dealt with many contractors over the years and I must say ASFR is at the top of the list with regard to integrity.   We have had several substantial rains this week and there has been no leakage in the crawlspace.

  • Very professional. Mike gave me a very detailed estimate and explained each step. I felt very well informed of what was going to happen. The gutters and downspouts were installed first. A few months later they came back and re-built support under the house. It took 6 days. Zach, Brandon, and team did a great job. It was not an easy job, as the only access is through an opening in my closet. They hauled cement block and buckets of cement, among other things, for a long time. They were friendly, professional, timely, and very hard workers.  I am very impressed with the job they did, and my house feels much more solid. I am very impressed with this business! Thank you, Mike and team!

  • My husband and I were concerned that we may have dry rot on 2 beams in our crawlspace, and also wanted a foundation specialist to give us advice about a crack in our concrete block foundation.  Mike Herring, NWA's franchise owner, came to personally inspect our situation.  He could have tried to sell us an expensive mold/fungus removal service; instead, he told us the material on the beams was dried concrete and required no treatment. And rather than try to sell us on costly repairs to our foundation, he recommended sealing the crack with a special grout and wait to see if the crack grows.  How unusual in today's "dog-eat-dog" home repair services, to find a business with such integrity.  We are contracting his company to work on our gutters so that the water comes out further from the house and they will also be sealing the crack -- because our family can trust him to do the right thing. We highly recommend this company.
