    Ended up that the cost to repair the washer was not cost effective and would cost more then the value of the washer. My service tech was prompt and professional the entire short time he was here. It took approx 10 minutes to tell me the bad news, He did not work other then taking a picture of the machine's serial number and model number and did some things on his IPAD and told me what the repair would cost. Nothing else was done. and I was charged $87.58. Which is totally ridiculous as there was no physical labor involved and nothing was done to the machine. I will NOT RECOMMEND this COMPANY and I will certainly be notifying friends and family as well.

    Took a full week before a technician came out and they would only give me a time frame of 8-5. This meant that I had to take an entire day off work. The tech did call me about 8:30 a.m. and said he would be there between 10-11. The tech was not in the least friendly. Used a jar and some paper towels without asking and left the dirty paper towels on the counter. In a short/gruff manner said 2 parts were needed. When I asked when he would return to install the parts he said not until June 6th. That is over 2 more weeks out! He gave me, again, a time of between 8-5. There is another full day I will have to take off work. Not responsive or professional!

    They got right out and checked my dishwasher and determined there were parts needed. I was concerned as they were vague about when those parts would be ready to be installed. However, they were back in a week, installed the parts and the dishwasher is working great now.

    They did fix the icemaker but failed to tighten the water hose, and it leaked onto our hard wood floors. This was confirmed that they were at fault by the new plumber we had to hire, the wood floor company, and our insurance company. We have had to have the wood floors replaced and are hoping that the floors replaced will match the existing floors. We are out the service call of the new plumber to tighten the water hose and $2,200 for the wood floor repair.

    I have used these guys for a couple years. They treat you like family. On time. Quick. Fair prices. They are personable and let you know what is going on with their work. They have done repairs for me on Kitchenaid, Samsung and Kenmore.

    Came out and said we needed new switches and a module.  Service call charge seemed excessive but I had used them a year before for a similar issue and at the time was happy with their service.  This time they said the cost of repair was $504 so i called another company who charged nothing for the service call and cleaned the burners with "3-in-one" lubricate and the unit has worked great since.  A-Tech  misdiagnosed the problem and would have charged me over $500 for their mistake.  Seems not only
    do they charge an excessive amount for looking at your problem but then do not have the expertise to correctly diagnose it or if you take the low road, gouge you for unecessary repairs.

    My dryer was making a squeeling noise. I called Grimes Appliance for an appointment. They made it out to my house the same day at the time they said they would. Jason diagnosed the problem and made a quick trip for a part. He returned to repair my dryer ASAP. Now, it no longer makes any noises.

    We have used the Appliance Guy many times. He has been helping to keep our high capacity ice maker limping along for the past few years, but this year we decided to finally just get a new one. When he came to install it last week, he noticed that the door hinge was not attached on one side. I was in a hurry because I had to go pick up my kids at school, so he quickly re-assembled the door and got the ice maker and pump installed. It seemed to be working, so I paid him and left to get my kids. The next day, we checked and there was no ice. It was then that we noticed that the door to the ice maker didn't seal (not even close). I called Jim, and he ordered a new ice maker. It came in a few days later, and he brought it to install yesterday. This one was perfect out of the box - hinges on properly, door closed and sealed. It was installed within a few minutes, and was making ice in no time. Jim was a little late both with the original installation and yesterday, but prior to these episodes, he has always been very punctual. Other items he has worked on for us - microwave, oven, refrigerator, and gas stove top. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again the next time something goes out!

    This was not my first repair on my machines. However,it was my first repair of this calibar. These two young men were extremely thorough. Parts of the dryer were removed so they could get in and see what the problem part was and I was pleased that they had the part with them. They also trimmed our dryer hose for efficiency. In addition, they cleaned our venting as far as they could , but suggested we get our "long run" done by Top Hat or another service similar. They were able to tell me my bearings we're going out on my washer and what it would cost to replace them. I opted not to repair the washer due to the cost of the repair versus the cost of a new washer. The washer "check-up " was covered by Coupon available on Angie's for ATech.

    These guys diagnosed the problem quickly, provided a bid, made the repair (on the dryer), did a few extras I wasn't expecting, and cleaned up after themselves. What more could I possibly want? I will call them again!

    I was very impressed with both the company and the technician, Roy.  Both were professional, both were kind and went the extra mile, even though it was my fault he had to come back to the house.  I would certainly not only recommend Atech and the technician, Roy, but they will be my first call for future services!  Thank you!
