  Mark Pardue Electric & Handyman Services

  Electrician Mark Pardue quoted $1275 for electrical work and hookups on my mobile home. He then charged $1685 without my permission AND I had to hire another electrician to come fix Mr. Pardue's work as it was done without a ground wire and other wiring hooked up. The "overage" he charged he said was for me to pay his insurance and bonding, which was not at all discussed. I am so unhappy! He was supposed to contact Entergy to get service started and never did. Not only have I been cheated out of almost $500, I had to pay the other electrician $1100 AND I wont have energy to my house until the 21st of Dec. PLUS he brought no help to set the 18 foot pole and, myself (age 61) and my sister (age 59) had to help him carry, lift, and set the 200 lb. pole in the ground.

  Justin White worked with me first with establishing exactly what I wanted and the best way to utilize my budget.   He was always available when I had questions.   The people that he had working for him were on-time, courteous, cleaned up any messes and the tile person ,as far as I am concerned, is a craftsman.
   It took longer than I thought but part of that was the age of my condo.  The miscalculation of the square footage  and pricing of tile and , him assuming I knew the terminology of the project  is something we discussed as feedback for our future projects and for him dealing with his future clients

  Arrived promptly this morning after I called after 5:30 PM yesterday.  Called on way over so I would know when he would arrive.  Went right to work.  Tested all and examined all the wall receptacles.  Identified all the things that needed replacement.  Don't have any idea if the cost was reasonable.   The cost was $211.46.  I feel he saved my life and property to keep it from burning down the house.

  They charge you a little over $50 for a home inspection whether they do the work or not. They gave us an estimate on the work, which was over $20,000. They gave us an estimate adding a generator to our electrical system, which we never wanted. I got the feeling that they are just out to rip people off.

  He is very good at what he does and very reliable. During the entire 12 years of using him, Eddie has always been very punctual and responsive. If for some reason he is unable to make an appointment, he calls me immediately and tries to find another time to come and do the work. I believe it is just him and one other worker. His pricing is also very reasonable. I have not seen any problems with any of Eddie's work throughout the years.

  John's Remodeling

  John and his crew came to the house one day earlier than expected. The old popcorn ceiling needed to be removed and it was done in a professional way with great care to keep the mess to a minimum. They primed and painted the ceilings and the walls and installed additional trim and painted all the trim which requires great care to detail. John and his crew also helped with the hardwood floors that were discovered under the old and crappy carpet. John also installed two new toilets. He finished the entire project within the set deadline and budget. Thanks John, Josh, Chris and George.

  He is quite good.  He is very honest, does a good job.  Very helpful and knowledgeable. He came in cheaper then another on Angies List, very competitive.  A little hard to get a hold of on the phone but thats because he is working all the time. We had a question and he came right over though.

  We called, they came out and fixed the problem. We asked them to look at our pole light in front of our house, and they checked the power. It was good, and they recommended using a CFL. It has worked ever since. We also wanted them to give us an estimate to install a new heater and vent in one of our bathrooms, but we never heard back.
