    SEWING STUDIO
The lady who owns the Sewing Studio was a life-saver! She took plenty of time with us during the initial and quot;fittingand quot; and took all our concerns seriously. She knew a lot about the fabric the dress was made of. She was able to suggest a sleeve alteration that worked for the hot, humid summer but still fit the original era of the dress. She gave us a lot of confidence as we left our grandmother's gown with her for alterations. The alterations were completed fairly quickly - she can tell you just how long it will take her - and everything she did was just perfect! The fit was fabulous and the sleeves made the gown even more beautiful than the original! (We won't tell Grandma that.) Her price was very reasonable. I can't imagine what a and quot;big cityand quot; wedding dress shop would have charged us for this. I would definitely recommend the Sewing Studio to anyone needing alterations or repairs! Her store hours are limited because she works by herself so call ahead to verify.

    SUSAN NEWMAN SEAMSTRESS
The owner Susan was very rude said that she called me when my dress was ready when she didn't at all. Then called me a liar she rushed me when i was trying my dress on and when i was told to get dressed she just left the door open for everyone to see me. Awful service will never use her ever again.

    Lethal-Lure Clothing Alterations
I arrived at Lethal Lure at 12:00 pm Wednesday December 11, 2013 to pick up the garments. I handed Maria's son the ticket and he immediately asked if I called to verify the items were ready. I responded in the negative and explained that it had been a full month, 30 days since I dropped them off and he had told me they would be ready on 12/11. He said the garments weren't done because of the snowfall. I asked him which garments weren't completed thinking that I could take my topcoat if it was done and the cold weather now warranted wearing such a garment. He said none of them were ready and that it would be at least another weeks before they were completed, again citing the snowfall. I asked him why none of the garments were ready since it had just begun snowing six days earlier on Thursday December 12. He said his workers couldn't get to the shop because of the snow and ice. At this point I told him that my wife who manages a local department store had closed the store early at 6:00pm the evening of Thursday December 12, and did not open the store on Friday December 13, but the store had been open since then and both store associates and shoppers had been filling the store ever since. He said and quot;he didn't care what my wife did or her store and that his seamstresses weren't going to risk their lives for a few pieces of clothingand quot;. When I asked him why I wasn't notified by him that my garments weren't ready on the promised date, he said that and quot;I should have been smart enough to calland quot; to enquire as to the garments status and that he couldn't call because he couldn't get to the shop either because of the snow. I told him that was ridiculous that he could have called me from anywhere and then I pointed out by his logic I risked my own life driving into the Pinnacle Promenade area of Rogers from Pea Ridge to collect my garments. I pointed out that when he took in the work, he had required me to provide three different methods of contact on the work order; cell phone, home phone and email and they had used none of then to inform me my garments wouldn't be ready on the date promised. He said and quot;he didn't care and that was my problemand quot;. I questioned why none of the garments had been worked on during the 30 days spent in the shop to which he responded that they do them all at once, not piecemeal. I pointed out to him that he was going to ruin his mother's business and reputation with his rude manner, to which he responded that and quot;he didn't care because he had told his mother he wasn't going to work at the shop anymore and he would find another job elsewhere and if he couldn't get another job , HE AND HIS TWO KIDS WOULD GO ON WELFARE AND MY TAXES WOULD PAY TO SUPPORT THEMand quot;. He smirked and laughed as he said this. He was rude, at no time did he apologize for the garments not being ready when promised, told me repeatedly to leave the shop. I told him that I had used the shop's services once before for a few hundred dollars worth of alterations and that they had done all of the alterations to my niece's wedding gown and bridesmaids' dresses very satisfactorily and that very same day I had brought in many more garments requiring several hundred dollars worth of additional work. Again, he offered no apology, and once again stated he didn't care because he was going on welfare and my taxes would have to support him and his two kids. At this point, I asked him to return my garments. He again told me to leave the shop and wait in the parking lot and he would bring my garments out to my car which I declined, telling him that I feared he would intentionally damage my clothing. He pulled my clothes off a rack, throwing them on a table. When I moved to collect them, he said no and began removing the pins his mother had placed in the garments when fitting them on me one month earlier. I have never before witnessed any business owner or employee commit such an act of business suicide or self-immolation. Mr. Sandoval was immature, rude, arrogant, dismissive, snide and STUPID above all. His treatment of me cost his mother the income from work on the garments the shop had in it's possession already, the additional several hundred dollars of income that would have been generated from alterations to two tweed sports coats, a navy blazer, a new vested tuxedo with two pair of pants, two new corduroy pants, two new wool slacks that I had brought in with me yesterday and all of my family's future tailoring and alterations work. Lethal Lure had my garments for 30 days and did nothing with them and then blamed the lack of work on a snow/ice storm that occurred only six days before the date the alterations to my garments were promised to be completed. They wasted 30 days of my time, plus the 1 1/4 hours I was in the shop to have the garments pinned on 11/09/2013. Ms. Sandoval needs to promptly fire her son before he does further damage to her business' bottom line and reputation.
