They set an appointment. NO SHOW! No call. People pay attention to this info! I was having locks changed as a consequence to a home robbery. Wasted my Saturday afternoon and compromised my security in an already bad situation. I counted on them because others gave decent reviews. When bad things happen to good people, seeking help from unreliable people just pours salt in the wound. Shameful way to run a service business.

When the carpenter started installing the door handles and deadbolts, he noticed that they required 3 different key sets. The deadbolts were keyed to my existing home keys, one door handle required a different key, and the other door handle required another key.  I had paid to have everything keyed alike.
I had the carpenter remove al the hardware and put everything back in the boxes.  I took all of it back to Pro Builder and asked again that it be keyed to my home doors.  They call me several hours later and said all four locks were now keyed the same.  I asked them if they were all keyed to my home's front door.  Silence.  They did not know what I meant.  I reminded them the entire point of dealing with them instead of Lowe's was to get everything keyed the same right out of the box.  They then told me that the set I bought could not be keyed to my existing doors.  I then said I would need a refund.  They then claimed that there were parts missing from one of the locks.  I went home and checked the doors for any striker plates or any other part that might have been inadvertantly left on the doors.  There were no parts.  I called Pro Builder back and told them all of the parts were in the box.  At that point they said there were parts missing from all four boxes.  I asked what was missing. The person said she didn't know, that she would have to ask someone that knew about locks.  She said I would have to call back tomorrow when that person was there. The people at Pro Builder said nothing about missing parts when I returned the hardware.  This seems to be how they avoid refunds.  I wish I had gone to the big box store and never heard of Pro Builder.

Mar. 26, 2014. Update.   My contractor, who recomended Pro Builder and who has an account there, has left 2 messages with the manager and has had no calls returned.  I have called and left a message and have had no return call.  They still have my money and my locksets. I still have no handles and deadbolts on my new sunroom.

Mar. 27, 2014 Update.  My contractor went to Pro Builder after the manager did not return any messages.  My contractor asked them to bring all four boxes to the front counter so he could see what was missing. Only one part was missing from one box, and it was a box my carpenter never even opened.  Pro Builder still does not want to refund any money on any part of the sale until the part is replaced, even though it is very obvious that their locksmith lost the part or it was never sent from Entek. I don't understand how these people are still in business, given their business practices and attitude.  My contractor is trying to resolve the matter.  I don't even want to see these people again.

April 8, 2014  Update.  Well, 10 days ago they told my contractor that they would refund my money and that the manager would call me.  He never did.  Eventually I called them and they said they only cut cheks once a week and I could pick up my check on Friday at 4.  I went there on Friday at 4; they had no check but said they would call when they had the check. That was 4 days ago and I have received no call.

April 10, 2014.  I went to Pro Builder to try to get the refund for the merchandise I returned to them 3 weeks ago.  They again said they aproved the refund but the manager is sick, the accountant didn't bring the check, they can't credit the debit card I used to pay for the locksets, etc.  The manager will not answer his work phone or cell phone or return voice mails from either myself or my contractor.

May 22, 2014.  It appears that my money , as well as the money of many others is gone forever.  The owner of Probuilder is being sought by bank officers for writing many bad checks.  He has been ordered to vacate and his assets are to be seized.  The employees next door say many disgruntled customers and creditors are looking for the owner.  He parks a block away when he sneaks into his business to check the mail.  If you placed orders with Probuider and paid in advance, you are out of luck.

A great experience. We had a loose door lock set that we were sure needed replacing. Darren of Bill's Lock and Key brought a replacement but after inspecting it said he could repair it. That was good because the replacement color was not right for the door anyway, not to mention the $140 price. Darren is so friendly and knowledgeable. He's a great representative for the business and I will ask for him if I need a locksmith again. He also made extra copies of the door key, something three retail hardware departments could not get right.

Had lost my only key to a 2003 Buick Park Avenue. It required one of the electronic keys. Bill's Lock and Key responded to my call for help hours before I heard back from the Quatney dealership. They gave me an estimate, called when a service man was on his way, met me where the car was located and got me running quickly. The dealership no longer will make new keys like I needed. Bill's, on the other hand, gave me an estimate, met me on a parking deck at UAMS, had me running again within 30 minutes. AND for a little less than the estimate.
