My air conditioner went out and they were able to come same day and went out of their way to be sure I had the unit replaced the next day. They took the time to explain everything they were doing in terms that I could understand. They were very professional and hard working and made sure everything was working well. Also had good prices. They did not try to over sell me and gave me honest feedback and advice. I will definitely be using them from now on.

It went much better than I expected. I'm reluctant to hire contractors, but this job went flawlessly. They were very punctual, professional, and answered tons of my questions throughout the whole install. There was no pressure for a sale.....I don't make quick decisions when it comes to major expenditures, and Russell (our contact) answered them all immediately. Great experience.

I was impressed enough with  their handling of it and some of the information they gave me. Through the internet we went ahead and took a years contract with them. They check everything in the Fall and in the Spring. We were very pleased, so we're giving them a try. They're responsive, on time, communicative, they explained everything. Being on time or letting me know that they're late is a big thing for most people, and I like that. They seem competent and communicative, explaining everything they were going to do. I would say the price was average, I don't have a comparison.

    Middleton Heat & Air
Very well! Charlie, my service tech, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He identified the issue as a bad capacitor and had me fixed up in less than an hour. Very relieved that he could come out so quickly and get my issue resolved. I was back in business before noon! I will be switching to Middleton for my maint. agreement as soon as my current agreement expires.

It's $215 and that includes a spring checkup for the A/C and a fall checkup for the heat. The price is kind of a little high. They just come and check and clean and you pay them and they go. Just one person comes out to complete the work, it takes about 30 minutes for the work to be completed. They leave the area clean when it's done.

They were punctual and got it done quickly, but they ended up having to come back a few times because they cut corners. I'll use them again. I'm on a maintenance plan with them so I don't have a choice.

    Lewis & Company Construction
At first everything went great. The estimate/sales guy was right on time and I liked everything that he had to say about the work they could do. He even offered some pretty good alternatives that I hadn't thought of for the floor plan. The estimator said that he was busy and that it would take him a little longer than usual; well, that was over a month ago. A few weeks ago I emailed the company to get some information on my estimate and have not heard anything. No one has contacted me since, so I can only assume that they do not want my business. I understand things happen and people get busy, but the lack of communication is very un-professional. Very disappointed considering all the great reviews they've received on this site. UPDATE* After I posted my initial review to Angies List, I was contacted by Mike a day later. He told me he hadn't forgotten about my estimate, but that he just needed some more time. I told him that would be fine and I look forward to hearing from him again. That was the last time I heard from Mike and we have decided to move on.

    Pontillo Home Services
My husband and I are realtors and the home we were selling needed some HVAC repairs. Our client/seller lives out of state so we offered to assist by contacting local contractors. I contacted Mark at 4:30 PM and he agreed to meet us at the home at 8:00 the next morning. We arrived a few minutes early and he was already waiting. He evaluated the HVAC and offered a solution that was several thousand dollars lower than the estimate we had received the day before. In fact, he found a leak in just a few minutes after his arrival and had repaired it in less than an hour. It was obvious he knew his trade and we will not hesitate to use him again. It is refreshing to find an honest, committed contractor.

    Jay's Service Company
I've been dealing with previous A/C repair work done through my home warrant company since April. Originally, they replaced my compressor in my outside unit. After still having cooling issues, they then decided I needed a new air handler. After getting the run around for over a month, I finally decided to go with a reputable company for my ac repair. The guys at Jay's were very knowledgeable and informative. Paul, the sales manager, came out first and gave me some quotes on a new air handler replacement. He also suggested that I have one of their tech's check for a Freon leak so that I'm not paying for un-needed replacement. Brad, the HVAC tech, came out next. He checked the existing evap coil for leaks, and found none. He eventually found the leak on the outside unit, where the warranty company's contractor installed my new compressor. Not only that, he pointed out a couple of wires that were suspiciously cut that shouldn't have been. I'm definitely glad I contacted Jay's. They were very helpful, and didn't pressure me a new air handler just to make money. They corrected another's company crappy work, and saved me money in the process.
