    Bend Dental Group
I was pain free and they were excellent in every way.  I stayed with them for routine cleanings and filling cavities for the next 3 years.  I wish I could take them with me when I moved, but would recommend them to anyone.  I stayed with Dr. Porter as she performed the initial root canal and cap.  I highly recommend her and her staff.  The entire office is excellent to deal with, provides text-based reminders, on-line access to accounts, flexible billing, and rescheduling.

    Pinney, Dr. Joseph
Dr. Pinney and his staff are absolutely wonderful. My son and I have been a patient for 5 yrs and have had excellent care. I've only had one urgent care matter that required a root canal that I had to be referred out due to the doc being out of town but even the referred provider was exceptional. Who knew dentist visits could be a pleasant experience? Thank you Dr. Pinney! :)

    Jolly Family Dental
Great appointment. Their office is nice, convenient, and has plenty of parking. Very short wait time in lobby, and the lobby has the requisite dentist office fish tank to watch while you wait. Friendly staff. They are GREAT with kids. My kids LOVE going to the dentist, at least for now; we haven't had any cavities yet.
I have had a couple of fillings done there and while that wasn't fun, they did a good job and everyone was kind and caring throughout the process.
I highly recommend Jolly Family Dental.

    Jolley, Dr. Ted W.
As usual, the staff was very friendly and took care of me. Dr. Jolley is a very good dentist who has taken great care of my family's dental needs. The procedure went smoothly and I am very pleased. Great dentist I would recommend to anyone!

    Dugan Kevin M.
The consultation appointment was made for the next day; however the follow up appointment for the procedure was made for another week and half out. I was prescribed a mild pain reliever to assist in the wait. The receptionist asked me what kind of material I wanted used in the procedure. Mind you, she is not a certified anything and can't answer any questions directly. There was no invitation for discussion about this while I was with the doctor.
The day of the procedure I was checked in quickly, and the service was performed in a timely manor. The hygienists are mildly polite, but spend larges amounts of time conversing with each other constantly about personal matters. When I ask a question I'm usually answered by a hygienist, and the answer I get is always presented in a bubbly but uncaring manor, even at regular cleaning appointments.
After this particular appointment I naturally expected to have a day or two of soreness and then begin noticing relief from the initial persistent pain. Two days after the procedure, out of meds, Novocain has completely worn off, and my tooth hurts again, in the exact manor it did prior to receiving treatment. I call, on a Friday, and leave a message because the office closes at 1PM on Fridays.
Monday a girl returns my call, identifies her self as 'calling from Dr. Dugan's office", and tells me, "Yes, ma'am. It's going to hurt for a week or two. This is normal for the type of material you choose. He [the doctor] is not going to see you for at least a week after, and it hasn't even been a week yet."
Her tone sounded annoyed and she sounded like she was just relaying information she was told. She really refused to actually engage in dialogue. I did manage to get her to schedule a follow up for another week out - we will see (this is why I gave "effectiveness of treatment" an "N/A")
I've said all this to emphasize that patient education and expectation setting is important. No one took any time to explain what was going on, no one mentioned that this may take 1-2 weeks to actually feel better.
Additionally, my childhood dentist's office (out of state) used to educate me on proper tooth brushing and flossing techniques, how enamel works, and made me feel involved in the appointment EVERY time I visited. Dr. Dugan's office has never done this with my daughter.

I have anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I needed several fillings done and had inquired about the sedation dentistry they offer. I felt at ease by the staff at this sedation dentistry was great. I've been back two times for fillings and was comfortable both times. I have found my new dentist.

    Jones, Dr. Kevin G
Having gone to the same dentist for over 20 years in the town where I previously lived, it was difficult for me to find a new dentist that could inspire the same level of trust and confidence.  I had gone to several other dentist in the Little Rock area and just was not satisfied with the experience.  I found Dr. Jones through a web search for dentist that can safely remove almagam fillings.  I knew on my first visit that I had finally found my dentist.  The hygenist (especially Monique) are super nice and do a wonderful job.  Dr. Jones is compassionate and does a wonderful job of putting you at ease.  So far I have had four crowns put in.  I have another crown to go and then the removal and replacement of my almagam fillings.  I would highly recommend Dr. Jones and his wonderful staff to anyone looking for a dentist!

    Dean Dental Solutions
My entire family and I have been patients of Dr. Dean since I was little. The office used to have a homey, family feel. Dr. Dean and the technicians always made it feel welcoming. Now it is a cut and dry "improved" atmosphere that feels uncomfortable. Almost the entire old staff has left and I can see why. The new receptionist is rude. My husband had a root canal done incorrectly and had to have it repeated, it's still not done right. I had two fillings done while there and the assistant didn't say a word to me even though I have dental anxiety. The tooth Dr. Dean worked on is in more pain then when I went in! I won't be returning!

    Jolly Family Dental
He is A-plus; I have been going to him for 50 years. We had a little kid way back when that broke his jaw and they came in early Saturday morning. They are there for us. I can't say enough. They even helped get our daughter-in-law into dental school.
