    WILKINS REMODELING INC
There were cost that were not factor into the contract. I had sheet rock dust pretty heavily in one of my bedrooms that I can to clean from top to bottom. They will come back and fix anything that you are unhappy with.

    Kitchen & Bath Ideas Maumelle
Kitchen and Bath Ideas Maumelle just finished my new shower and I could not be happier. They removed my old ugly prefab fiberglass shower stall in the master bath and replaced it with a bigger custom tiled shower with frameless glass enclosure.  This also included moving the current plumbing, installing new faucets, pouring a custom shaped shower pan with a seat and tiling around my roman tub.

Rodney Turchi the owner checked in on the job and made sure everything went smoothly. I thought the price was fair. It was at least $2000 less than another estimate I got. Ricardo showed up to do the work when I expected him each day and had the work done in five days. He was patient to answer my questions and made a couple of adjustments along the way at my request. The space had weird angles because of the shower being adjacent to the roman tub but they walked me through all of it. They cleaned up as much as they could each day before they left. That allowed me to still use my water closet. They also included having their designer come to my house to review what I wanted and then go to the tile store to help me pick out materials. She was gracious, knowledgable and helpful.
Overall a great experience. I highly recommend their work. I probably could have gotten it done a little cheaper but I needed their design ideas and expertise and they delivered. You get what you pay!

Very responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Will make recommendations without being pushy ... if you want to go in a totally different direction than his recommendations, he will work with you and help you get there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Work Done: Removed single person shower; removed Jacuzzi; knocked down wall to open up bathroom (enlarge); installed new linen closet where old shower stood; installed large 2 person shower where Jacuzzi was; removed old bathroom tiles and closet carpeting; installed new tiles in bathroom and closet; removed old / installed new 2-sink countertop.

They were 1 among 5 different quotes. They weren't the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I had a budget and an idea what it would cost, and they came in right in the ball park. Range of quotes received were $13-27K. The reason I didn't go with the 2 lower bids was they appeared extremely low and didn't trust them, or the quality of materials they would be using was not what my wife and I wanted. At least for my job, Michael Lanari used one does-it-all general contractor to do the work: Steve Maitland. This guy is awesome! I cannot say enough good things about him, his workmanship, work ethic, knowledge, and attention to detail. Treated our home as if it was his own and took great care to not cause damage during the remodel and ensured he cleaned up after himself every day.

Overall, we are extremely pleased and consider the remodel a highlight in our home. Bathroom looks great!

They do kitchens and baths ... pay him a visit and ask for a quote/site visit, then decide if he's right for you.

MOST IMPORTANTLY -- RULE 1: Do your homework and ask lots of questions to avoid surprises and misunderstandings regardless of whoever you decide to hire for your project. Good luck.

Tyler Turchi, the owner, proved to be excellent at what he does. He gets things done when he says that he is going to do it. He follows up with his contractors and sees that they do what is desired. If something needs to be corrected, he makes certain that it is done. He is associated with a good group of tradesmen that seem to think highly of him. After the job was completed and some minor issues came up, he graciously took care of them.

    Inside Effects Inc
After visiting their showroom regarding a complete bathroom remodel, I made an appointment for them to come to my house the following week and NO ONE SHOWED UP. I was left at home waiting the entire day. It took me 2 days to get a hold of "Leslie" since she was the one that made the appointment, no one else could help me. The next appointment was made for 2 weeks after that and they came out and took pictures (no measurements). I thought that was odd, but ... I was told they'd have an estmate in a couple of weeks. After about 3 weeks it took about 4 phone converstaion and almost 3 months before I had an estimate.
Before the estimate arrived, I had long before already contracted someone else since the "message I was getting from Inside Effects" was that this was a contractor I didn't want to deal with and to be avoided. If they were this bad before a contract, I could only hazard to guess how bad things would become once I committed myself and put money down towards the project.
It's a good thing I didn't wait ... their estimate came in at $27,000!  Outrageous!  I had 2 other estimates: one for $15,000 and the other for $19,000.  I went with the $19,000 and will review that contractor once the job is done.
NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.
