Dr. Throckmorton performed the delicate reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder, a technique made necessary because my rotator cuff pretty much disintegrated from more than 50 years of tennis. He performed the procedure flawlessly, and I Have had very little pain since the operation on Oct. 18. I now face weeks of physical therapy to adapt my arm and body to my new, improved shoulder, and I expect to be back on the tennis and pickleball courts before Spring officially arrives next year.

They have a huge facility and and take care of every aspect. If I have a foot problem, shoulder or knees. I think that they make themselves as available as possible. They have a nice waiting room and they have friendly receptions and they are very professional.

He has taken care of me for almost two years after a bad fall. He is wonderful and has been very helpful. He performed a tricky surgery and did an excellent job. There was a question whether or not I would walk again, and he was able to make that happen.

All of the doctors take time with me. They don't rush me out of the door. They address my concern. They listen to what I have to say. They are very specialized, for example I was having elbow issues and at the same time I was seeing a doctor and he referred me to Dr.Fahey and it was more comfortable having Dr. Fahey seeing my elbow. They recognize their limitation and where they are comfortable working on. They are general orthopedics but they tend to specialize in one or were they are more comfortable and I like that. They are willing to step back as they are not comfortable doing it as they have not done it.

Dr. Pickering explained what was happening with shoulder. He took the time to examine the area thoroughly and due to my wishes decided to opt for therapy before surgery, explaining that it was very possible that I could go through therapy, then have to have surgery anyway. I opted for therapy and he recommended a steroid shot for pain as it was intense. I opted NOT to have the injection and he told me if the pain got worse, I could call and schedule. Overall, he worked with me and while I am a bit of a stubborn patient, he did everything he could to advise and direct me. I take no medication on a regular basis and I was able to manage the pain and the therapy without surgery or steroids. I would highly recommend Dr. Pickering. He is a no-nonsense physician and I greatly appreciated his candor and honesty.

The surgery was successful. It eliminated about 70% of the pain. The remaining pain and soreness has decreased since then, but some of it is caused by arthritis which will remain.

They did knee on me and my son. My husband went to them for a shoulder problem. My daughter also had foot surgery with them. They're wonderful. I think they're just very good at what they do. They're very knowledgeable. I like the doctor because he's just got a good demeanor. They have nice office staff. You can get in to see them when you need to for the most part.
