I have seen several pain management doctors however I usually only see their nurses. With Dr. Ahmad I see him and his nurse. He is there to help me and answer any questions. I needed a specific pain management regiment which is a morphine pain pump. The treatment has been wonderful. I found Dr. Ahmad through Angie's List.

I was happy with their care from the dr and most nurses but the office people leave alot to be desired.  I was referred to them by my pain dr who moved out of state and everything was fine they checked my pump and found out it was not working right so it was replaced.  They got me into a surgeon right away both times my pump had problems to get replaced.  They are not afraid to treat your pain and they listen to you when you tell them what is going on.  They have a hardship program for those that are on disability and soc security etc once you have been there 6 months to help with the cost of the copays for those in need.  The nurse that handles the pain pumps is wonderful.

you sign in and have a seat in the waiting room.  Then you are called by the nurse to get your vital signs and drug screen if needed, next you go to a smaller waiting area by the drs office.  then the drs nurse calls you in and the dr talks to you, checks you out sets you up for your procedure is applicable.  Dr explains what he does and you have time to ask any questions you want to  then you make your next appt if needed then you can go to the pharmacy

With the begining of treatment things went pretty good, as time went on they became less concerned about what I was telling them and more concerned with any infractiions they might develop with the DEA. The worst part of the experience over 7 years was the last few months when Dr. Boos decided he didn't want to see me again and "fired" me, he wouldn't talk to me in person, or give me a reason in person...I wasn't rude or didn't interrupt their office enviorment, I just wanted to have a visit with Dr. Boos in person since I had been a patience of his for 7 years and he just offed me thru his office staff....he left me with no choice than to seek another doctor at the drop of a hat, and wouldn't meet with me to explain his position...after 7 years of treatment I felt like this was a rude way of telling me "medicare" didn't pay him enough to see me, of course I'll never really know his position as he refused to meet with me and had his staff basicly tell me to leave they weren't going to see me again. I made a doctors appointment and saw another pain management doctor within less than 2 weeks, so I don't really think it was any fault of mine.

Was a great experience.  No appointment was necessary, I was able to just walk in.  By the time I left the office I was feeling great.  I had a chiropractic treatment and used the toning tables.  I laid on each of the six tables for ten minutes each and it relaxaed all of my muscles.   One table worked my upper back, taking the pressure off of my stressed back.  The second table worked my inner and outer thighs and low back.  Table number 3 worked my low back, stomach and even my love handle area. Table #4 was a walking table.  I just laid on it and it did all the work.  Table 5 was a side to side table that moved my love back and took the kinks out of it and table 6 was a sit up/crunch table.   It took me an hour to do all the tables and besides relaxing me and my muscles I was also told that it would help me lose inches.  The atmosphere was quiet, with music playing.  All the tables are in one room so I was also able to meet new people while actually exercising.  When I got my chiropractic treatment next, I was totally relaxed.  I didn't even have to really tell him where I hurt.  He put me on the table and was able to locate every sore spot I had and adjust me.  He was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable before his adjustments always letting me know what he was going to do before doing it.   Overall it was a great appointment.  His treatment was $25 and $10 for an hours worth of toning/massage tables.  Can't beat it!!!

I do not have access to computer, therefore, I asked to use the doctor's wife's computer and she let me.
