    Get-ER-Done Handyman Services
Eddy Higgins and his crew at Get Er Done are capable, fast, dependable, and pleasant to work with. They first came in to install wall tile around a new free-standing tub that was already in place. So it was a difficult job because of the obstacle since the new tub had plumbing installed and could not be moved. They finished in about four hours and the job was immaculate, and the price was more than fair. They then hung shelves, upgraded light fixtures, added safety bars, and generally just finished off my entire honey-do list, with no honey required. Again, the work was perfect and quick, and the price was excellent. Then I had them bid on new construction of a 14' x 20' screen porch about five feet off the ground, with lights, ceiling fans, electric receptacles, a roof connected to my house, outdoor lighting, new guttering, pet doors, renovated steps into the garage, and a large apron deck outside the screened area for the grill etc. The bid was, again, more than fair, and they (again) knocked it out in no time flat, just exactly as I had specified. During the job, they painted my wrought iron outdoor furniture, waterproofed my rattan porch furniture, watersealed the decking, and treated the tall steps from the porch to the yard with slip-proof coating. In addition to great skills and an amazing work ethic, Eddy has enormous patience and will listen and make sure he understand just what you want. If one of my ideas was impractical, he explained to me why, and helped me decide a different way to get what I wanted. He and his family members work as a crew, and they communicate very easily among themselves. They are polite and professional, and they really clean up at the end of a job. They come when they say they will and do what they promise to do. They bought high quality materials for the porch. I will be booking them again when the time comes to paint the interior of my house in the next few months.

    Arkansas Roof Renew LLC
It went very well. He came and gave me an estimate with calculations on how he arrived at his price. It did take a few weeks to make it to his schedule but he called me to update me when to expect them between the estimate and the actual work. I will use them again.

    Dunlap Construction Co Inc
Very well. I got to Brent Dunlap through my roofer whom I had used many times before for roof and gutter work. He responded quickly though was backed up because the storm had done a lot of damage all over the city. His choice of gutter and finish carpenter sub-contractors was great. The finish carpenter had done other work for neighbors and came through with his high quality work. Brent was on top of things while the work was being done by visiting the job or calling at least once a day. He also followed  up to see if all was OK and had the gutter people come back to correct a few small problems. In all cases, cost was fair and competitive.

Steve Sibert is very professional. I made the appointment for a quote with his wife, Pam. They showed up to give me a quote and Pam went through all the details of their company. Steve owns the company AND does the work alo NH with 1 other guy. They got done in 1 week with our siding and it looks fantastic. They helped me pick out the best color to match our bricks and what we were looking for. We would defenately use them again. They do more than just siding. They cleaned up after themselves everyday before they left. The siding they use has insulation built into it and gets 3-4 stars on every builders review I read. We got other quotes from Wilson's, Royal, Wright, and some other small company's. Sibert Siding made the best impression, had the best quote, and had a good quality siding. The other's said their siding was great, but the reviews I read didn't match what they said. A friend of mine also had a lot of trouble dealing with Wilson's. The total work was just under $6500, which was a steal compared to the other quotes we received. I stayed home the first 3 days they worked on our house so I KNOW they did a great job and did it right.

    Heavenly Exteriors
Work was very sporadic and contact with Mike Donnelly was very difficult.  He would never answer his phone and would take days to respond by text message.  The job appeared to be poorly done and repeated attempts to contact Mike Donnelly to arrange for him to visit the job site and confirm the sub-standard work went unanswered or returned.
During the course of installation construction debris (roofing tacks, etc) were left all over my yard as well as my neighbors driveway and repeated attempts to get the crew to clean up after themselves were ignored.  MIke Donnelly and Heavenly Exteriors also took it upon themselves, without receiving my permission) to store materials for other jobs on my property, a practice that went on after their job was "finished" at my house.  This material stayed in my yard until I had it hauled to the dump at my expense.
I called both a home inspector and a certified Hardie Board installer to my home after work was completed and both told me within 5 minutes of being at my house that the siding job was done incorrectly.  Whole pieces of siding were falling off of my house.   It was then that we noticed that the siding material was not James Hardie branded material, as quoted and paid for, but rather an off-brand version of cement board siding.
At this point I began calling and texting Mike until I finally got him to answer.  His response to all of this?   "Well, I guess you could sue me."  Verbatim.  That was his initial response.  After negotiating for weeks he finally agreed to purchase new materials, leaving me to pay another contractor to re-do the entire job correctly.
During the demolition of the sub-standard work performed by Heavenly Exteriors it was discovered that Heavenly Exteriors had not properly installed a a vapor barrier over roughly 50% of the house nor had he installed insulation as he was paid to do.
When contacted about this Mike Donnelly mentioned that he had not paid for the replacement Hardie Board and that he just might not and let the lumbar yard place a lien on my home.  He also said that I should just sue him.

    Allen Construction

Very happy so far. These guys stay busy but I feel it was worth the wait. When the job was started they worked every day, except

weekends, until it was finished. Cleaned up in the end. Nice, knowledgeable and friendly workers.

    Wilson's Home Improvement Co
I don't write many online reviews, but Wilson's definitely deserves one. Every Wilson's representative that I dealt with (Scott, Isaac, Mike, and others) was extremely courteous and professional. The biggest things that stood out to me were punctuality (they always arrived when they said they would) and commitment. For example, when I signed the contract to begin the work, we realized that my sales rep had accidentally quoted me a price for one less window than I needed. However, he admitted the mistake and stood by the original price! There are very few companies that would do that. After the work was completed, there was some leftover debris around the outside of the house, and Mike personally cleaned all all of it up. Thanks Mike!
I obtained bids from three companies, and I am glad I chose Wilson's. I'm 100% confident that I got the best quality work for the best possible price. I will definitely call Wilson's next time I have to replace windows or siding.

    Wilson's Home Improvement Co
Crew of two neatly attired Arkansans arrived promptly, explained game plan, worked efficiently through the day & into the darkness to complete the job in one day.  Very considerate of our comfort and feelings.  Explained everything well.  Used drop cloths and left no mess.  Cleaned the glass.  Demonstrated how to work the windows properly.  Windows were expensive, but you get what you pay for.  Showed where previous contractor screwed up and caused wood to rot around existing windows, and how their work would prevent similar problems in the future.  It was my mistake to install el-cheapo windows 8 years ago from a shady contractor.  Existing windows just didn't hold up, & we couldn't get replacement parts when the windows' frame attachments began breaking and glass began frosting.  Wilson's quality control inspector came by the house several days later to inspect the job, interview me for my personal expectations and satisfaction, and ensure the job was done correctly.  They're a class act, and I will definitely use them in the future if needed.

    Exteriors And Moore
Mike arrived right on time the day he toured the house. He promised he would call with an estimate the next day or maybe the day after. After a week with no call, I called Mike's office, reached a woman who apologized, said Mike was very busy and she would inquire about my estimate that day.  I called back one week later, after still not hearing from Mike.  No one answered, but I left a voicemail with my number.  I waited one more week, without hearing from this company.  I called again, during working hours, but no one answered. I have since ceased attempting to contact the service provider.

    The Home Handyman
The repairs went smoothly. They went fairly quickly in spite of needing to get a special piece of lumber that was thicker than the standard. Tom knew where to get it and so the repair went off without a hitch. The paint match is perfect and my house looks like there was never a problem.
