  • Dr Woodard was kind and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed when we talked. He does his own IVs and anesthesia; people often have difficulty giving me an IV, and he had no problem either time. The exaction site healed well, with no complications. I was very pleased with the experience and his ability.

  • We got there at the scheduled time and were placed in a waiting room and proceeded to wait for 30 minutes. The nurse finally came in and took vital signs and walked us back. The OR's are at one end of the Recovery Room. The doors were wide opened and I could actually see another kid having his procedure done. They were loudly talking and laughing and basically ignoring the kid on the stretcher who was "recovering". We were led into the OR and greeted by the assistant who had talked to us in the $90 consultation (he at least didn't speak at an auctioneer pace, more like a car salesman). My son laid down in the chair and the nurse asked him if he wanted a warm blanket. Now mind you the room is about 68 degrees and my son has almost zero body fat so that should have been a no brainer. No warm blanket ever appeared. They explained they were going to give him the laughing gas and placed the nose piece over his nose. He finally put his head back and no sooner had he done that but the nurse grabs his arm and starts putting a tourniquet on! No warning, no explanation of what she was doing. My son jerked his arm away and said WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? The nurse said Oh we are just going to start your IV. My son started to panic and asked about the numbing cream.. Well, it just went down hill from there. The nitrous was not given any time to work, the nurse couldn't find the vein after she stuck him, and she removed the IV cath and re-stuck him with the same one. I should have just started it myself. Meanwhile what should have been painless was extremely painful as she kept moving the IV cath back and forth trying to hit the vein. My son's heart rate was over 120 he was so panicked. The worst part... She says to the assistant "I had it until he clamped down".. REALLY!?? like it is my son's fault he is terrified, cold and you never gave him a warm blanket to help his peripheral circulation?? He was "clamped down" from the time he walked in and it was not HIS fault. SO then Dr Schoen walks in and gets it perfectly in his forarm, proceeds to screw around with threading it and basically pulls it out!! REALLY?? He then had to stick him a THIRD TIME and finally got the IV in his antecubital (I don't think he knows how to put an IV anywhere else) At that point he pushed meds so fast I was shocked George didn't stop breathing. It was like he was tired of dealing with him. I was then walked back to my waiting room by the assistant who could see I was furious so what did he say? He was sorry but George wasn't breathing right for the nitrous to work, he was holding his breath!!?? It was all I could do not to smack him. I will never understand caregivers who refuse to go the extra mile to relieve pain. Whether it is waiting a little longer for nitrous to work, or writing a prescription for a numbing cream. It is just plain laziness..or apathy..After the procedure he came into the room where I was waiting and again with the 200+wpm explanation of how it went and what to expect. I honestly felt like it was an assembly line. Oh and NO apology nothing.

  • It was a very good experience, if you can say that about a dental procedure. First I went for an appointment just to let him look at my mouth and x-rays and so he could explain the procedure to me. That's when I found out about the cost, too. A week later, I went to get the old tooth extracted. I had i.v. anesthesia, which he administered. It was great. I remember getting drowsy and then I woke up and it was all over. He gave me antibiotics and pain pills, and I went back a week later so that he could look at it and make sure it was healing OK. I have not had a bit of trouble with it. I'll go back in 3 months for him to do the final step, the implant itself. In all, Dr. Woodard was very professional, and I am completely satisfied with his work.

  • Not well.  He nicked a vein with epinephrine needle and went straight to my heart.   Palpitations and tremors.   Don't think he aspirated the needle.  Didn't take time to explain anything to me.    Very uncomfortable.  Other than that after the procedure all was fine.  Bad chairside manner.

  • Our family relocated to Little Rock several months ago and needed a new family dentist. We love Dickinson Dental. The staff is so nice and create a very relaxed environment.they are professional and yet treat their patients like family. Dr. Dickinson is very thorough and presents a long term picture for dental treatment. She doesn't believe in surprises. If there is a issue that may need treatment in the future treatment, she will let you know. I have a tooth that had to have a filling replaced (the original filling was 15 years old) and Dr. Dickinson let me know that it will probably need to be crowned in the future since there is so little tooth left after 2 fillings. However, she isn't in a hurry to perform unnecessary work. She recommended we just follow the tooth with my regular bi-annual appointments. I really appreciated her honesty and care.

  • Dr. Jim Orsini and his staff make a visit to the dentist something that I actually look forward to.
His office staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Always a good attitude, regardless of the request I make of them, which is hard to find these days. Billing has always been without error. I've never been left waiting past my scheduled appointment time to be seen, which is something I appreciate since I live on a tight schedule.
His dental hygienist is absolutely wonderful. Does a thorough job without hurting your mouth and does a great job explaining any areas where there could be improvement.
What I appreciate most of all, though, is Dr. Orsini's commitment to quality dental care, using modern dentistry techniques but MINUS the marketing schemes that most other dentists use these days (e.g. always resulting in something being and quot;wrongand quot; that needs to be and quot;fixedand quot; immediately, and usually requiring a large sum of money).
He's extremely thorough and takes his time and does work that is necessary without hitting the panic button. That means a lot in this line of work. Years ago my first visit to him was for a second opinion before shelling out yet another $1,000 for an issue the other dentist insisted was urgent. Dr. Orsini didn't agree and guess what --it hasn't been an issue to this day -- and that was seven years ago.
I highly recommend Dr. Orsini and his staff. He's a rare breed - don't miss out on your chance to experience what true dentistry is really about.

  • He is great. He is extremely competent and he came highly recommended. He paid attention to my concerns and gave me explanation. His very warm manner and that of his staff made me feel very comfortable and confident that I was getting good care. He is alone and does not depend on other physician and I like that, I did not get shuffled around on to anybody else.

  • I had a broken tooth, Dr. Schoen saw me promptly and scheduled an
extraction. The extraction was painless. I am set up for implants.
Dr. Schoen is one of the best oral surgeons around. I am a physician
and deal with lots of dentists and oral surgeons. Dr. Schoen is one of
    the best.

  • I was orginally quoted a ridiculous amount by several other surgeons, but Dr. Elimon was very reasonable and got me in fast. Took care of my problem in less than a week and I could afford it!!! Would highly recommend.

  • I was recommended to this oral surgeon by our dentist in our old town (Just moved to a new city). My husband could only get an appointment in the middle of the day, and they wouldn't try to work with his working schedule. When they asked about his insurance, he said "Principle" and they scheduled his appointment in.

When the day of his appointment came, it was like walking into an elderly care home and not like a typical dental office. All of the employees seemed dead inside. When they asked for his insurance card, he couldn't give it, as Principle doesn't give us one. So, they asked who it was with, again, they informed him that they only take Delta Dental, handed him the paper work, and fully expected him to continue with the appointment. My husband left without going to the consultation.

    Complete waste of time.
