Everything went smoothly. The electrician was supposed to be here at 8 am but he actually got here at 7:50 and sat in his truck until 7:58. He rang the doorbell at exactly 8:00. I would recommend Jones Engineering Inc. to anyone. I would recommend Jones Engineering Inc. to anyone.

This company was one of a handful on the list of approved contractors who work under the local electric company's energy efficiency rebate plan. I chose them because they were the only one of that few that returned my call and was able to get the job done before the end of the year.

Their pricing was good especially as the price lowe's had quoted for the job was higher and I know from past dealings with lowe's that their subcontractors aren't the cream of the crop.

Taylor's crew was not only prompt, they were early and got the job done in just over an hour. They did do a good job of being careful around my newly sealed HVAC ductwork but they were pretty sloppy with where they blew in the insulation even after I pointed out the issues with not being able to install dams around the soffit vents due to the shallow pitch of the roof. At least half of the vents are blocked and I now have to remove them and blow them clear with a leaf blower before the attic will ventilate properly again.

They were quick, cheap, and got the job done, but quality suffered.

This was the disappointing part of the experience for me. Once they left it looked good for a week or two but then it appeared that something else was up there moving stuff around and I did not want to call them back for additional money just to set a trap with a daily cost of like $75.00 per day just to sit in the attic. I expected them to at least offer me some clues as to what else could be in my attic but the technician seems to ignore my concerns.

They aren't inexpensive but the quality of their products and work are very good. I wanted foam but it was too expensive, regular bat insulation must be carefully installed to get full value so BIB is a very good comprimise. In addition, you get R23 vs R19 for fiberglass or foam in a 5.5 inch wall. They still haven't blown the ceiling but I'm having them do an R50 after the sheetrock. They were a day or two late but the total job was done very quickly after they arrived. The bad weather contributed to their being late. Since weather is slowing everyone else down, being late was of little consequence. I highly recommend 31-W. Their bids also make more sense than other companies bids but all of these companies could be more specific in their bids.
