They are awful. Do not bring your car there. BMW should be ashamed there have their name on that shop.
My 3 year old daughter sanded the hood of my 2011 BMW 528i.
We brought it to North Point Collision because they are part of the BMW dealership in Little Rock. My husband only wanted the car in a BMW collision shop because he did not want it to affect any possible resale value and believed that the BMW dealership would do the best job. When we brought the car in it had the scratches on the hood and bumper and 2 chips from a rock on the edge of the hood. That was it. It was only supposed to take 2 days from their original quote, then it was 3, then it was 5.
When we got the car back the first time there were dimples in the hood and there was overspray over the entire car. They said the overspray was there when we brought the car in. They sent me pictures throughout the week of the cars progress that clearly showed the car was not covered or taped off beyond the hood and halfway up the windshield.
It was raining hard the day we picked the car up so we really could not see much. After I had the car washed we were able to see how bad it was. What made me mad the most was that the manager, Chip Sims, said we brought the car in that way even though I had pictures that they sent me showing the car was not properly covered. I could actually see on the windshield were they taped it off and the overspray line.
They never admitted the overspray was from them but Chip said they would work with us. Another 5 days later the overspray for the most part has been clay barred off, however, I now have swirl marks all over my car, you can still see a couple of small scratches from my daughter. (I guess they buffed the paint off or something), both fenders have scratches from the buffing and there are now small circular scratches over the entire car, not just swirl marks, scratches.
This is not a paint job that should be considered worthy of a BMW collision shop. They underbid the job (we would have paid more to have had it done right the first time. That is why we brought it there in the first place), they were late in finishing the job. The hood should have been removed from the car and painted not left on a partially covered car. There response to our concern was adolescent, blaming the consumer for the overspray when they sent us update pictures showing only part of the car covered. I am extremely disappointed in the job they did. It was sloppy and their response unprofessional. I would not recommend them paint a Yugo let alone a BMW.
