Shame on you, Angie's List. The court documents I sent to you clearly show that Steve Walters individually, Spa City Builders, LLC, and Spa City Builders, Inc. collectively as a person and a company is someone that everyone in the home building or remodeling arena should be warned about. I gave you several months to load your database with the court documents and recently did a query on all areas he and his company should clearly have shown up in your database but he is not listed anywhere. Your company is worthless and cannot be trusted any more than this contractor. This is my final review. Eventually everyone I know will also know not to bother using you as a resource. It's a total waste of time and effort.

I called for an estimate and an agent visited my property within a couple of days. I asked him to email me the quote and he asked when my husband would be around to revisit and discuss the quote. He wouldt relinquish the quote without a revisit with my husband and his manager present. I immediately felt as though someone was going to pressure us into a time share condiminium. I reluctantly agreed and set up an appointment the following Monday. When I didnt receive an email or phone call, I called and asked for a supervisor. The manager called me back and was very demeaning and told me it was company policy that the husband be present and I suggested that they may revisit that policy. I told him I was capable of making the decision and that my husband was very busy. He replied with a rude comment and I quickly closed the conversation and asked him to simply email me the quote. The reason for calling Royal Window was because I heard a commercial advertisement that they were offering a $2,000 discount and a $400 Visa gift card for metal roofs. I asked about the discount and he confirmed this was correct. When I received the email, the following is exactly what he emailed me: $11,200 for the metal including the two skylights ? without would be $10,400 $9100 for the architectural Thanks for your time I was expecting a formal quote with breakdown / explanation of work. And for the record, I was quoted $6500 and $8500 for the exact same roof by two other roofers using the same metal supplier during peak season after the hail storms. The salesman told me they could offer deep discounts because of the time of year and they wanted to keep their guys working. I would hope that customers shop their contractors. After all this disappointment, I looked the company up on the better business bureau, and they had 8 complaints, and several of these were advertisement. Not only do they show a lack of professionalism, they are 30-40% higher than their counterparts. DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! My insurance company USAA (best insurance around) estimate for a shingle roof is half the price of what they are offering.

I am very pleased with the gutters John Horton and his crew installed on my home.  I asked for 6" gutters because of the amount of water that falls off our roof; it was like a waterfall in several areas.  He gave a sample of what the 6" gutter would look like and how he expected it to perform.  He walked the perimeter of the house and advised what he thought would be the best way to capture the water and how to work around drainage issues as well.  He also installed several downspouts in all the right areas. He even placed a wire mesh over the top to keep the leaves and gum balls out of the drain area.  It's been 6 months since the installation and everything has performed beautifully!
I cannot say enough about how professional he and his crew were to work with and how great these gutters look on my home!  He did everything he said he would do, was prompt, efficient and communicated well in all areas.  I plan to add photo's of his work to show that the work was not easy as he had to do much of the installation from extremely high ladders as our house sits on a slope and is over 2 stories from ground level at the front lake side of the house.  Regardless, John and his crew made sure all areas were seamless and had a smooth transition around all the angles.  They did a great job!
I highly recommend John Horton with AAA  Seamless Gutters and Roofing for all your gutters and leaf guard installation needs.

Keith was in the area the day I called and came right out to give an estimate.  He returned two days later as promised and performed the repair.  As far as I can tell, he did a great job.

The major issue with this company was that they located some rotting wood during the replacement, but they never informed me of this and never took it upon themselves to fix it.  I had to call them a couple of times to come back and actually rectify the issue.

The job was completed in a timely manner. Roof looked good. Boards found later in my yard. An overhead light in my house was broken. I was told it would be replaced and installed. They never did. Moral: don't expect follow-up once they have have their money.

My call to the company was returned by Keith within minutes.  He was at my house within a couple of hours, took pictures of the raccoon and age damages on the roof, measured, figured and made a quote.  I accepted.  The crew was half an hour late the next day but then proceeded to work hard all day until nearly dark, finishing the job and cleaning up all in one day.  Keith was personable and open to questions and willing to make suggestions on some other jobs I have been considering, as well as making referrals.   He was at my house several times to check on things while also managing other jobs.  The coordination of work was excellent.   I would recommend their work to others.

It was fine.  The estimate was too high so we didn’t use them.  It was a nice guy but he was way too high.  They didn’t have to come out, they took the pictures through GPS from Google Earth and it worked.  Their service was excellent but I am just not going to pay the price they want.  The big deal price was fine for what they did.  They did a great job.  Everything about them was excellent and they wanted to charge for it!

First, the tree limb and carport truss was raised to extract the car causing no additional damage to the car.
Second, the fallen pine tree limbs were removed.
Third, the entire wooden carport roof structure was torn off from the workshop and removed.
Fourth, using the existing metal supports a new wooden carport roof structure was built and attached  to workshop.
Fifth, the roof of the attached workshop was patched and re-roofed to blend into the new carport.
Sixth, the hole in the house roof was repaired and the entire north slope of house roof replaced.
Seventh, a new metal chimney cap was made and installed on house chimney.
Eighth, two broken trees were cut down and removed from the property.
Ninth, all building materials were removed and the work site was cleaned up.

This was a roofing nightmare.  Although Daniel Garcia the owner/manager of World Class Roofing boasted about being a particualarly qualified licensed contractor with the ability to obtain a permit from the city of hot springs, he failed to do so.  Because of the poor quality of his work I called the building safety department.  Inspector Anthony Utsey detected fundamental short commings: 1. problems with the decking included the failing to replace rotten wood, 2. defective shingles (old or worn) were installed, 3. The shingles were improperly nailed (some were bent, missing, or both were nails were on 1 side) as the city inspector told me, besides the high change of  leaks a gust of strong wind could blow the entire roof away with no warning.
For this and other reasons Mr Utsey turned down the final inspections and declared the roof "not repairable".  The roof had to be redone from scratch.  It would be my choice to stay with the same roofer, or choose another one.  I picked the one everyone was praising as the best in town.  They did magnificent work and passed the city inspection with flying colors.  I am therefore very happy.
The sad part is that Mr Garcia from world class roofing who did not provide an honest job, feels entitled to get paid even for work that ended as scrap, customers trust must be earned and can not be bullied by hiring a lawyer and filling lawsuits.
