    Angie's List LLC
Shame on you, Angie's List. The court documents I sent to you clearly show that Steve Walters individually, Spa City Builders, LLC, and Spa City Builders, Inc. collectively as a person and a company is someone that everyone in the home building or remodeling arena should be warned about. I gave you several months to load your database with the court documents and recently did a query on all areas he and his company should clearly have shown up in your database but he is not listed anywhere. Your company is worthless and cannot be trusted any more than this contractor. This is my final review. Eventually everyone I know will also know not to bother using you as a resource. It's a total waste of time and effort.

    Household Solutions
I do not recommend Household Solutions to do any type of home repair or carpentry work because the workers that the owner employs are left unsupervised and appeared to be under the influence of some kind, they had to be told how to finish the building since no one communicated to them on what to do and also since the owner does not follow up and check on their progress, the workers come and go as they please. The owner Justin White, discussed the project with me, however did not provide detailed plans and decided to change the design without consent during construction, the electrician Mr. White subcontracted to do electrical work did not finish the work and left wire to the well head unburied and laying on the ground. Very poor unprofessional behavior and conduct by both Mr. White and his workers, not once did Mr. White provide design plans and when asked about invoices he said he did not have them with him and would have to scan and print one out to fill in.He also seemed to not care about the deadline that I had set to complete the shop building. A cabinet and picture frame was also commissioned from Mr White as well since he owns a cabinetry shop and after several excuses and delays, they were finally delivered and the cabinet installed but i was dissapointed that they were not as expected. Mr White also stole the barnwood leftover from the shop demolition after i told him i wanted keep it all, and then told me i was not getting any of the wood back. The workers left a mess that was supposed to be cleaned up and hauled away when they completed the job. Mr White appears to get referrals from local real estate agents and because of this he doesn't seem to care about his mainstream clients.Do NOT do Business with Justin White and Household Solutions, they are overpriced thieves, the workers are unsupervised and work when they want to and everyone will give you nothing but the run around, your questions and wishes will also be ignored by the owner. STAY AWAY from Household Solutions F- Rating. just to note.. Mr. White has threatened me if i posted a negative review of his company... I will note be bullied or threatened and I assure Mr. White that i will protect myself against any form of harassment.

they did a very good job overall. there were some delays but that is to be expected on such a big remodel. they made new cabinets and a new sheetrock ceiling but the best thing is he went over everything step by step before continuing on anything. very peased with their work....top notch

    Freewalt Builders Inc
We hired Freewalt Builders to do interior repair work on our house caused from a roof leak.   The roof had recently been replaced.
The claim allowed for over $4,000.00 for labor and material to replace 43 sq. yds of engineered flooring.  Freewalt only replaced 20 sq. ft. of flooring using material we provided, but charged us for replacing the entire floor.
The claim also allocated over $700.00 for repair of water damage in a downstairs bathroom.   NO work was done in this bathroom.

In the Angies website it states "Art always shows where your money is going".    This statement couldn't be further from the truth.  Art couldn't even provide the number of hours his people worked and when I pressed him on this issue, he reduced the price he was quoting by $600.00.

We had discussed a few more projects that were not insurance claim related that we might hire Freewalt Builders to do for us.  Before Freewalt left my house on 5/31/2016, I expressed my feelings about what he had charged for the work done.   Later that day (5/31/2016) his general manager (Dusty Smith) called and said he and Art had a misunderstanding and they would provide free labor to paint the living room (they quoted $1600.00 for this work).  I told him "NO THANKS, I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND ANYMORE".

    European Classic Designer
They did not show up when agreed to, they only worked half day but stated worked full days, did not remove their garbage from the job but was in contract to do job, and threw boards and shingles into wooded area on my property instead of removing per contract. They over charged on parts, materials where 6 dollars however charged me 25 dollars needed 20 items, not a big deal for one however when you need 20 of them it adds up. Repair to sheet rock was not done correctly you can still see tape lines under popcorn ceiling mix. Also he agreed to do certain jobs for the price but failed to do all work.

Justin was professional, and actually was able to get us in ahead of schedule. The shower was done in 1 week! His crew was also pleasant and helpful. If you are wondering if you should take a chance and hire him, wonder no more- just hire him! I will use him and his crew in the future for upcoming projects. For some reason it won't let me put the cost in down below- but it came out to be around $5500- that does not include my shower door- which will have to be installed in a week or two as it is a custom glass job! That is estimated to be around $1300 on it's own. So all in all will be approx $6800. I had another bid originally fron a different contractor for $9000! Extremely happy!!!

    Peter's Flooring and Paint
The staff was very attentive and very knowledgeable about colors and paint types which was helpful in my decision-making process.  Furthermore, their prices were competitive, and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

    Murder's Painting
They did excellent work, they were neat and clean, and they cleaned up after themselves, they were here when they said they were going to be. We had a bad experience with a painter previously, we used them, and they were a little higher in pricing, Well, we also had a house fire, and the insurance company wont use them, so we went ahead and did it ourselves. It was the same paint, not the quality of the paint, but the quality of the work. Murder's Painting then did the job for us; they were great and did a good job.

    Keith Lynchard Roofing & Construction
We had several roofers come out to look at the damage on our roof and give us an estimate.  Keith was the only one that caught a couple of complications that could have created more problems down the road.  I am very thankful that we had them do the work for us.  They were very professional with good communication from the owner, and did an excellent job.  As a result of the work they did for us, we referred them to other people we knew.
