He is the best. He does his work and he is very communicative. He does a good job. The method he use is better than anybody else.

The morning of the procedure I woke early and had some cereal and coffee and right before 0600 am I ate a little left over broccoli that was in the refrigerator. I arrived at the designated time. The hospital staff at St Joseph started my IV, gave me Reglan for my stomach, drew lab work and performed an EKG. At 1230pm the nurse taking care of me informed me the procedure was canceled because I had eaten that morning. I knew the poor nurse delivering the news had nothing to do with the problem, so I left quietly after she removed my IV. I called Dr Blackstock's office the next day and to shorten the story I will summarize my conversation with their office manager. After talking to all the involved people she told me that I wasn't told I could eat at 0600am, (until I faxed her a copy of the form they sent me home with) then I was told that a nurse told me to eat "soft food" until 0600 am (sorry, but cooked broccoli and soggy cereal ARE soft). I was told I was going to have to reschedule my exam. I voiced my concern over my insurance being billed for the IV, lab, EKG, and medicine I was given to me the previous morning. I was told that was something I would have to take care of with the hospital. Bottom line, they messed up. I could accept that, we're all human and it happens. What bothered me was no one wanted to own responsibility for the mess up and gave me the impression they didn't care about things from my perspective. I won't go back I don't trust a practice that works that hard to cover up a mistake. If you screw up at least apologize!

This has to be the most unprofessional medical facility I have ever had the displeasure to do business. The treat their patients like livestock they way the run you through the process, the nurses are unkept and unprofessional. I have had many blood draws and IVs and never have experienced the pain I felt when it as done in this clinic. A nerve was damaged and I had pain in that arm for over two weeks after the procedure. To add insult to injury, I keep paying bills. Three months after the procedure I am still receiving bills. I pay in full and next month another shows up and when I attempt to call and get answers I get a rude, unprofessional incompetent that treats me like a senile old man. Raising your voice to a customer does not exude confidence in your clinic.
