Shame on you, Angie's List. The court documents I sent to you clearly show that Steve Walters individually, Spa City Builders, LLC, and Spa City Builders, Inc. collectively as a person and a company is someone that everyone in the home building or remodeling arena should be warned about. I gave you several months to load your database with the court documents and recently did a query on all areas he and his company should clearly have shown up in your database but he is not listed anywhere. Your company is worthless and cannot be trusted any more than this contractor. This is my final review. Eventually everyone I know will also know not to bother using you as a resource. It's a total waste of time and effort.

They are a family operation and I just like them. They had an estimate that was locked in. They triple wrapped everything and labeled everything. They came in 3 or 4 days before and did an amazing job of packing. They did an outstanding job. They had two trucks but one of their clients was involved in an accident and tied that truck up. That truck was also being planned to be used in my move. They ended up having to rent a trailer for my move. They were able to overcome that problem. I was quite happy with them and will recommend them. They are very professional.

Jacob called and asked if he could come early for the appointment!  Jacob found the problem, and had replacement springs on his truck.  Took a little while to adjust but the job got done.
Great local company, I will definitely use them again when I have garage door problems.  Very highly recommended!

They came out for the estimate on time and figured the price out right then, in front of me.  Then we set up a time for installation, which was about three weeks after the estimate because they were busy.  They came out for the install on time and set the posts, at which time I paid them 1/2 the total cost.  About three or four days later, they came out and finished the job and I paid them the remainder.  The fence is good quality and very sturdy.  The employees were were nice.  I have no complaints about the quality, installation, or employees.  I don't know if the price was too high, although I thought it might be.  I needed it done before Christmas and didn't want to have to fool with getting a bunch of estimates with companies I didn't know, although I didn't know Alliance Fence  either.  I will definitely consider them in the future if I need some fencing because I feel they do quality work.

Art and his crew did a great job. Art wants the customers to be satisfied and is good at following up. As long as you do your part to keep communication open with him , I am confident he will do his part to be on time and eager to do a great job. His prices are fair and he will guide you in getting the job done correctly and at a reasonable cost.

He was very quick. Once the work is done he does not return calls. The concrete slabs are cracked. I am planning on putting a deck over it. He pretends to have expertise that he does not have. Overall it was a bad experience.

He was VERY professional, quick and I would recommend him to everyone I know. It's so nice to see someone do a honest job and do it with pride. He returned my call within minutes, he was right on time, and gave me an estimate within minutes and got right to work.

My initial impression of Jerry Miller was positive when we met to discuss the project.  In fact we made some changes to the way the new garage would be placed on the property based on his suggestions. I supplied all of the detailed information and drawings to all of the potential contractors in March of 2013 and I got a reply back from Jerry saying it would take a couple of weeks to provide his estimate unless we were in a hurry.  We were not and I told him that would be fine.  In early May, after not receiving any bid, I queried him as to whether New Age were going to bid on the project and he replied right away that they were interested and he would send his estimate when it was complete.  However, I never heard from him again until the first week of August when he sent me a bid without any comment on the fact that it had been three months.  By this time, we had already selected a contractor and the garage is complete!  Again, we had assumed that his company was not interested so I had not let him know when a contractor was chosen.  The proposed price in the bid was also very high, more than twice all other bids.

So again, my guess is that Jerry and his company would do a good job; that during our initial visit he seemed very professional and discussed the project in detail, bringing up things I had not thought about.  I realize there may very well be extenuating circumstances that I am not aware of, but without any explanation for the long delay in communication, would not recommend using this company.

James Anderson (Your ProBuilder) elected to separate the excavation and concrete work into phase I of the project and let us contract separately with one of several service venders which he researched for us.  We chose Rob Stevens who did an absolutely fantastic job.  The excavation was a lttle scary since there was a verbal "rock clause", meaning that if they hit solid rock, the estimate would have to be amended.  It turned out they did hit some solid rock but only at the very end of the digging and they were able to drill/sledge it out without additional cost.  We are happy with the concrete work.

The garage construction onto the prepared slab was done through Your ProBuilder.  Mr. Anderson diligently kept in contact with all of the sub-contractors and reviewed their work.  There were a couple of instances where he had to call them back to fix a problem either he or I noticed.  During the construction I was out of town for long periods and he was very helpful by discussing everything with me by phone or email and sent photos to show me what the progress was at various stages.  The project was completed within the time period we had requested even though it extended through the July 4th holiday period.  My wife and I came to depend on him for both technical and asthetic questions and he always gave us an honest opnion.  The garage is complete (on the outside; I still have work to do) and we are very happy with it.  Most folks would not guess that it is a recent addition as it blends in perfectly with the existing house.

We selected Mr. Anderson to do the work partly because of the good reviews and partly because of our initial impression of him during our first visit.  We also wanted to contract with someone who provided a firm bid for the work so we would not have to worry about possible cost over runs.  The final charges other than for changes we requested during the project, was exactly as quoted.  I believe Mr. Anderson to be an honest, genuinely friendly man who takes great pride in a job well done.  We would certainly be happy to work with him on future projects.

I called them for the first time 2 weeks ago, spent $150 and fortunately I didn't have to call them back. They were very helpful, they weren't in a hurry, they listened so they knew what to fix and they were very pleasant to work with. I would say I had a good experience, they took care f the problem, their price seemed fair and I would use them again.
