Flooring reviews in Hot Springs National Park

While the floors and water were being removed I called Gary Sanders of Peter's Flooring and Paint. He was very courteous on the telephone and was prompt in arriving at our home to review the damage and evaluate what we would need to fix our problem. The laminate flooring was ordered on a Monday and received on Friday. The installation crew of Don, Archie and Pete arrived the next work day to begin the prep and installation of the new flooring. Between the three of them they have 79 years of experience and it was so noted in their professionalism and their attention to the details. And great personalities to boot!

We hired Freewalt Builders to do interior repair work on our house caused from a roof leak.   The roof had recently been replaced.
The claim allowed for over $4,000.00 for labor and material to replace 43 sq. yds of engineered flooring.  Freewalt only replaced 20 sq. ft. of flooring using material we provided, but charged us for replacing the entire floor.
The claim also allocated over $700.00 for repair of water damage in a downstairs bathroom.   NO work was done in this bathroom.
In the Angies website it states "Art always shows where your money is going".    This statement couldn't be further from the truth.  Art couldn't even provide the number of hours his people worked and when I pressed him on this issue, he reduced the price he was quoting by $600.00.

We had discussed a few more projects that were not insurance claim related that we might hire Freewalt Builders to do for us.  Before Freewalt left my house on 5/31/2016, I expressed my feelings about what he had charged for the work done.   Later that day (5/31/2016) his general manager (Dusty Smith) called and said he and Art had a misunderstanding and they would provide free labor to paint the living room (they quoted $1600.00 for this work).  I told him "NO THANKS, I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND ANYMORE".

Jacob did such a great job on our floors. They were in really bad shape. He took the extra time to sand it down to a smooth finish and match the stain color to other existing wood floors and now they look new! Very prompt and courteous service and I am happy to recommend this company.

They've been in business for nearly 100 years. Their prices are higher than others, but they have quality products, offer awide array from which to choose, and guarantee their work. Ultimately, we chose another company that had a lower price, however.

Everything went well. They were very professional and quite knowledgeable, and they even let mereturn after store hours to bring back some samples that they had given me. The only issue was that they didn't carry the kind of carpet that we wanted. Specifically, they didn't have SmartStrand mohawk carpet.

The staff was very attentive and very knowledgeable about colors and paint types which was helpful in my decision-making process.  Furthermore, their prices were competitive, and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

Terrible!!  The carpet layers did a terrible job laying the carpet and were very rude. They ran out of carpet and did not stretch it when they laid it.  We complained during the process but no one ever came out to check on it. They damaged many of our antiques during the process. They were mad they were having to move furniture which we had paid the store for them to do. When we finally went to the store and strongly encouraged the owner to come out he agreed with us so we had to do it all over again with the same carpet.  They were not able to stretch it all properly and it still is not right. The whole experience lasted about four weeks. It was just terrible!

000The job was a nightmare. The hardy-backer was laid in the kitchen without enough screws over particle board. The master bath was laid with no hardy-backer and the half bath was laid over the existing vinyl. All three floors broke up and had to be removed and replaced by us. The first trouble was with the kitchen. The grout was the wrong color. Their suggestion was for US to dye the grout ourselves. When it began to break up they suggested that there was something WE had done to cause the problem.

They are excellent!  They stayed until they got job done.  They left some equipment over the weekend to make sure things got thoroughly dry.  The person we worked with directly was Andy Maynard.
