    The reason we go to Joe's Garage is because Joe knows a lot about cars. It seems like if we don't want to go to the dealership and we want an independent, I think he is reasonable. It is a family-owned thing and the staff is just very customer oriented and they tell me truth of what our car needs. They are getting a fair price for it. They are good people. We just don't take our car anywhere else without getting Joe's opinion. I just know he's honest and reliable, and he gives us a fair deal. I wouldn't say he's expensive. He's just getting what he's worth which is worth a lot. When we compare him to an automotive dealership, he's much lower.

    I spoke with Jason to set up the appointment. He was very nice on the phone and just as nice when I got to the shop. I had a bent wheel and I had a replacement ready so they put the old one with the tire in the trunk for me so I have a good spare if needed. After the tires were replaced, my car would not start in the bay. The guys in the shop were very nice and attempted to help. It did finally start! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I called to set up the appointment and had the tires replaced and ready to go within an hour!

    I took my car to a local dealer to have my oil changed, and they called to inform me that they had looked at my brakes and the hardware kits on both the front and back brakes were missing.  The brakes themselves were ok, but the hardware had somehow been removed.  They gave me a quote to repair, which was a little expensive.  I told them to just change the oil and I would get a 2nd opinion before I spent that much money.  I called around and found Kevin at Norm the Tire Man.  They are located close to my office.  He was very knowledgeable on the phone and checked prices for me but told me he would want to see the car first because that is an unusual thing to happen.  There had to be some explanation if that kind of hardware was missing.  I dropped in first thing in the morning and had to wait a little bit - which I expected.  They took my car back and inspected it thoroughly.  Kevin came back to report that there was no anything wrong with my brakes - or the hardware.  Everything was there that was supposed to be there and the brakes were functioning properly.  I did not need the replacement the dealer called me about. Kevin had quoted me a price (if I had to get the work done) and it was less than the other place.  I was just thankful that they were honest with me and I did not have to be out of pocket several hundred dollars for an unnecessary repair.  I will keep them in mind for future work.

    They explained why my current tires with acceptable tread were allowing my car to fish-tail on slick roads and caused me to loose control of my car and I ended up in a ditch. The brand of tire that I had has a problem with getting hard when they get old, so no traction. They showed me the printed report of my current alignment and suggested that it should be corrected.

    We use them all the time.  They are very good at servicing the tires and rotating them.  They take care of the tires.  They are very professional.  Even though it is a tire shop, they are a few things that they do and a few things they won't do.  They have been really good with my sister especially about recommending good places for her to go to have things done.  The price is good.  They do a lot of little things that they don't charge for.

    The job took a little longer than it should have which was my fault.  The mechanic agreed to install the timing belt that I supplied but it was discovered after installation that it was not the right part number.  The mechanic got the right belt and finished the job the next day.  I normally would not ask a service provider to install my parts but I have known the mechanic for many years. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work and would return for additional service in the future.   I have had radiator repairs and replacements by Double D several times with positive results.

    They were comparatively lesser in cost and I got upgraded tires too. It was a good service; I was in and out. They got the tires on, got them balanced and off I went. They were patient, courteous, they were local, and it was a very good experience. I have used them in the past for tire service and it has always been very efficient. They were friendly to work with and I like supporting the home team.
