  • They've been very satisfactory. They're very friendly. They have good service, good groomer. They did a really good job on our Lhasa. She was in a pretty rough state at that time so they had to do quite a bit of work on her and it was about $25. I believe that they just have one groomer. I thought they were reasonable with their pricing. We had recommended them to others.

  • It's a fair price no matter what. They give plenty of time for your animals. They care about you and your animals. They give you time. You have to wait a little bit because they're not just sending animals through just to get more bucks per day. They're actually doctors who care about the animals. These guys are top-notch vets.

  • Binky is a 9yr old pug who never had pups & needs to be fixed to avoid issues.( First visit to new facility was  followed up w/ a card from "Dr. Rick" & handwritten note inside which said " Thank you for your trust " ) She knows who "Dr. Rick" is, and seems to like him.
This visit was after I noticed a speck of blood in her urine and she would scoot to the side and make a straining sound, only urinating
a small bit of extra urine. She has a history of allergy to some antibiotics and seasonal allergies.
Binky will have her surgery soon. I'll be calling for an appointment on Monday. I will call to advise how that goes ASAP. Or contact in anyway allowed by Angie's. Due to the care for both pet and owner, I wouldn't think of taking her to surgery w/anyone else.

  • To me, I felt the provider was not very compassionate and not gentle. My little baby was in such distress. We had to muzzle him due to a recent snapping issue. He has not bitten anyone and we are working on the problem. I asked the vet for suggestions to remedy the snapping problem. His response was....and quot;a large part is disciplineand quot; and it was quite flip. I am not minimizing the issue but he is quite disciplined. We went through extensive training with him a few years ago. (He is almost five) The vet was quite rude and talked down to me. I am a responsible dog owner, donate monthly to the ASPCA and address any issues with my dog immediately. The office was prompt and efficient. Cleanliness was good. In conclusion, I feel the vet should have given my dog something to relax him and show some compassion. I can only imagine the pain of someone digging in my infected ear. We need to follow-up but I will go to a different vet.

  • All the staff was very friendly. I've had a few appointments. It is
always easy to get in and they call and remind you of your appointment.
The cost seemed reasonable for the services provided. The vet was very
friendly and knowledgeable. I have had a good experience so far and will
continue to use this vet for my dogs.

  • Dr. Butler listened to our concerns. He took the time to explain what was wrong with our dog and made recommendations
on how to care for her. Dr. Butler is an excellent surgeon. She healed very quickly and seemed to have very little
    pain or discomfort.

  • I read that their owner, the head dog groomer, specialized in cutting terriers. So, I decided they would know how to handle my new Scottish Terrier and create a positive experience. When I went in they asked what type of cut I wanted. He's a full-blooded Scottie, so I told them a Scottie cut. She asked if I was sure, which didn't make sense...what other type of cut would I ask for?

As I was leaving, she was pulling him into the room. I should've stopped her at that point, but I thought they were professional groomers who cared about dogs and knew how to handle them. I gave them my number, so they could've called at any time to let me know they couldn't groom him.

When I picked him up, they told me they weren't able to finish him up like they would have liked to. He didn't behave so they weren't able to clean up the lines. I was okay with that because I would rather they stop before they traumatize him. They said to keep bringing him back and it would get better.

I agreed because I didn't know they had hurt him at that time. I paid and thought they had done the right thing. That night, when he got on the couch, there were spots of blood. So, I looked him over. They cut into the nail quick. They didn't cut all his nails, but the ones they did were bleeding. Then I took a closer look at his coat. It was really choppy, he has razor-burn nicks on his jaw, and the worst is that his ears were cut in three places. I looked to make sure it was from the cut, and the hair is cut in line with the nicks. They could have stopped at any point before they hurt my dog, or at least stopped after they hurt him the first time.

When I went back to show them the damage, she said she would talk with the groomers. She was sorry it happened. She looked at his ears...she looked right at his ears that night. Of course, the next day they said they didn't cut my dogs ears, and blamed it on the dog's behavior again. The owner said she was surprised that it wasn't worse. She offered no compensation so I could take him to someone who could fix their damage, and now she said they couldn't work with my dog. It was the dog's fault and not to bring him back. They sure changed their tune. Before I complained it was oh, keep bringing him back and it'll get better.

I have a lovely intelligent dog. I just hope this doesn't happen to someone else's pet, and that is why I'm posting this review.

  • Gave each dog a general health evaluation ( no bloodwork). Answered all of my questions, explained options, made suggestions for longterm care, and followup. I also purchased 3 pack and 6 pack Comfortis (which accounted for $153.70 of the bill.) Very pleased with the time and personal attention he gave to each dog. Nice waiting area, clean exam room.

  • I've been using this clinic for over a year now.. Wonderful vet - Phillip Brunck..  we have had NO issue with them until today.  We take in strays and rescues from time to time.  Today, we found a puppy that had been hit by a car, we took him in along with all the cash we had on us.  I had a rescue offer to help with what we could not afford (we do donations from time to time in emergency cases).. when I mentioned this to the receptionist, she went to the back.. Through the door, I could hear her bad mouthing us - making fun of how we got donations.. she at one point even went as far as saying she would give some false sob story to get donations to pay her bills for her too!  When I confronted her on what she was saying, she started out denying it, saying it was not her who said it then changed her story to she was just making a joke!  It was very unprofessional and I was upset.  Would she rather I left the dog on the side of the road?!  Phillip Brunck refused our payment due to the issue - which was very nice of him, although, I had no issue in paying for this pups care!  I left, feeling as though I had done something wrong when in fact, I was just trying to help this puppy. I have never felt so insulted in my life.   I do know the clinic is a wonderful place and the vet is a wonderful man who has a HUGE heart, but it will be very hard for me to walk back into the clinic after being insulted so severely!

  • My dog was limping so I took her to Rye Hill Veterinary Clinic. We called ahead thirty minutes before we were coming and it only took us about a ten minute wait to get her right in. While the news wasn't good the Vet was. Very caring and treated the dog great. Same with the assistant that was working.
