She delivered my 5th child. He was turned in a and quot;face-upand quot; position which is horribly painful and even an epidural cannot stop the pain of this type of birth because of the pressure on the bones. He also had his hand on top of his head and over his forehead. She maneuvered his hand away from his head and face and then she turned his head and helped me to get his body turned so that my delivery would be easier and less painful. This was a God send since all of my previous children had been born in the same position. She was very gentle and her bedside manner was fabulous!! I love her attitude and her willingness to let you lead the way. She was very supportive. I would and DO recommend her to every new mother!!

I called in and got a 3 pm appointment with the doctor. i showed up 30 min before my appointment time and still sat there waiting 2 hours after the appointment time so a total of 2.5 hrs waiting. I finally got to the back and waited another 30 min for the nurse practioner to come in not the doctor. She wouldn't even put on a glove to make sure I really had poison ivy. She actually took my word for it. She gave me meds and told me if it didn't work come back in a week. She was going to give me a shot and the said it would cost me cause my insurance wouldn't pay for it, which I found out later was un true. Thank God the meds worked and I am all clear now but I will not go back to that office agian to pay good money and not even be seenproperly. I feel they just wanted my money. I could have told you over the phone what I had!!

induced labor on 6/27/08. told me 2 days before that she would be in the morning of my inducement before she went to her practice. I didn't see her until 2:00pm that afternoon and she broke my water at only 2 centimeters. I had to wait 5 hours to receive an epidural and i was in immense pain from the point she broke my water through my entire 24 hours of labor. the nurses that came on after i was initially admitted were rude along with my anesthesiologist. i received my epidural at 2 and 1/2 centimeters (i only progressed 1/2 centimeter after 4 hours and should have already been considered for a c-section, but my Dr was no where to be seen). I saw my Dr twice until i MADE the rude nurse (who told me the Dr. was not going to push with me, i wish i could remember her name she was short with dark hair and wore glasses and was pregnant at the time). i pushed for another 8 hours (by this time my 3rd epidural shot had worn off and of course i couldn't have any more pain relief). my sons head was stuck in my "funny shaped pelvis" as my Dr. called it and would have noticed had she ever done a pelvic exam in the 8 months i saw her. when this was finally realized, i had to wait another 4 hours to get into an operating room 2 of those hours were spent without any pain medication because my anesthesiologist Erma had to be called numerous times and was mad because the police had to go get her because she wouldn't answer her phone. i finally got a dose of morphine after my Dr had to get permission to give me 4th epidural shot from the hospital, to get me ready for my c-section. then when the Brandy started to cut i FELT it!!!! i started telling them i could feel it but Erma didn't believe me and said it was pressure that i felt. i made her give me a stronger shot that she told me would put me out, but didn't. for 2 hours and 30 mins i heard them talk about how i was ruining their morning and they just wanted breakfast. then the worst thing i ever heard in my life was when she cut my uterus open and started saying "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD", she almost sliced my sons face open. he was stuck so far in my birth canal they had to get someone to get under the operating table to push him out. My son was born on a Saturday and i didn't see brandy again until Monday before i was being discharged. i was cathed 4 times after she broke my water. Every time i went to her office even if i had a 9AM appt. i waited at least 4 hours just to get called back and another hour for her to show up in my room. The nurses did a urine std test on me while i was preg and had me set it next to someone else's urine and then told me i had chlamydia! i made them re test me and sure enough i was clean because I always used a condom before my husband! my experience was horrible with her, and after my son was born i took him to get his shots and they gave them to him while he was sleeping! he woke up screaming and the nurses weren't even holding him down to keep him still!
