Window Replacement reviews in Fayetteville

  • This was a great experience. Ron and the people who work with him are very professional and do a great job. Ron himself comes out to give you a quote and stops by everyday to check on the work. He also is a great communicator, if you contact him by phone or email, he gets back with you quickly. The house looks fabulous! The windows have made a huge difference not only in looks but in the utility bill as well. Ron had them side the house in a very attractive pattern that I would never have known about and we gets lots of compliments. The prices are extremely reasonable and the work is well done. Ron does a final check and will work with you to make sure that everything is satisfactory. I was so pleased with the windows and siding, I also had them install some new doors. I highly recommend this company and Ron and his crew. Thanks to Ron and company we have a beautiful updated home.

  • Tim and David are the greatest! Such a fantastic combination of professional expertise and get-'er-done tenacity for a reasonable price! Very easy to work with--it's hard to find folks who are easy-going and pleasant who also have the drive to get things done. Jacob, the finish-carpenter is an absolute gem. We were also using re-purposed materials that necessitated many changes as the project progressed to incorporate what had been scrounged from Habitat ReStore and other locations----the guys were just great about brainstorming and making these materials work when I'm sure they were secretly pulling their hair out. The only drawback is their schedule---seems like enough people have found out how great they are that their schedule is overbooked. Don't let this deter you, though, just book early and know that you'll have to wait and there may be delays.....absolutely worth it!

  • Robert and Leslie were great to work with. Once the project started, there were no delays, everything went smoothly. Robert's crew were friendly and helpful and did high quality work. We were extremely pleased and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend their company to others.

  • Ron, was extremely courteous and very professional.  I had quotes from multiple folks and he was by far the best value and the quality of his product and service were excellent.  When I had a problem he rushed over to fix it and he was very patient with us coaching us on the best color combination and we could not be more pleased with how the project and the house turned out and would not hesitate to use this company again.

  • We made it very clear that we have dogs (three) that are regarded as family members and that it was imperative that the dogs not be allowed to leave the yard. We have very good fencing and gates. We offered to pen the dogs while the work was done. The workers assured us we didn't have to pen the dogs and that we didn't need to do anything special regarding them. The first day of work one dog escaped when a gate was left open. Purely by luck the dog was found about a mile from the house, in the parking lot of a busy grocery store, by a couple of people who were strangers to us. At that time I explained to the Hanke salesman that all trust had been destroyed and it would be best if they didn't proceed with the work. But after some discussions some small trust was restored and work resumed. After that there wasn't an occasion of a dog escaping because we either kept them inside or stayed home or had someone here while the contractor was here. We were told that all nails would be picked up with a magnet, but I picked up many dozens of nails and pieces of siding during and after the work. In the course of installing gutters several roofing shingles were left loose. I secured them myself because of no confidence in the contractor. Two outside lights had to be removed and reinstalled for the siding installation. I'm an electrician, had installed the lights myself originally, and was concerned that code compliance of the lighting would be maintained. I have seen the shoddy work that is often done during the course of installing siding. But the lights were not reworked by a licensed electrician and no longer met code requirements. I insisted that a licensed electrician be contracted to re-install the lights again. That was done, at no additional cost, and the work met code requirements. I do not recommend this contractor.

  • I don't live there so I don't know if he fixed it or not but he sure made a good show. It hasn't rained much since then. The kid was a fine fellow and I enjoyed talking to him. I didn't bid it out so I don't know about the price. He didn't guarantee the work. He was there when he said he would be.

  • They completed the installation with the exception of the shutters which I only got installed after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  Within one month of installation, one of the panels fell off and they had to come back to reinstall.  Because the company went bankrupt, my lifetime warranty is worthless.  Although they have told me on three separate occasions that they are under no legal obligation to honor the warranty, but they are doing so because it is "the right thing to do."  The moral positioning is hardest to swallow because 18 months ago I had yet another piece of siding fall off the house and with repeated calls to them I have not so much as had a return call--even thought they are committed to doing the "right thing."  I grossly overpaid for a service from a business that positions itself as high quality, professional, and ethical. They are none of those.  The quality of the actual siding was actually very good, and installed by a supplier who actually competently installed it and serviced their work, would be very satisfactory.  The 'F' grade is simply too high for the remainder of the service I received from this horrible supplier.

  • I was pleased with Window World's price & features compared to Wilson's (but their "home of the $189 window" is misleading, because the prices start at $205 each, plus low-E glass options, cost to remove old windows, etc., so mine averaged more like $300 plus tax).
The low-E coating is worth the extra cost here in Arkansas.  I can tell my house doesn't heat up nearly as bad from the morning sun as it did with my old windows.
The installation looks great, everything fit snug and was caulked in tight, no issues with fit or finish.
I did find several nails and bits of broken glass left in the yard from when they tore out our old aluminum windows (it's messy business), but they cleaned up about 98% of their mess, and they did a good job of tarping inside, so I didn't get any heartburn over it.
We noticed later that some of our new windows that had fingerprints & smudges between the panes of glass that we couldn't clean, but Window World was very responsive; all they needed were the serial numbers from the windows and they ordered replacement sashes at no cost.

  • Everything went great.  Brandon and his crew are great.  Am having him back for another bigger job extending my front porch.
Brandon does everything correct and is great to work with.

  • We had the rudest most high pressure salesman I have ever met. He raised his voice, stood MUCH too close and was so loud at one point my husband came out of his home office to see what the argument was about.  He wouldn't leave when asked and stood in the driveway berating us. It was the most bizarre sales situation I've ever been a part of. I have personally dissuaded at least four homeowner friends from using them.  This was when they were Hanke Brothers. When we called to complain about this salesman we were treated dismissively.  We ended up going with Pella which cost more, but they were professional, polite and easy to deal with. The date is not exact but from about the time they came out to give an estimate.
