    Zimmerman, Dr. Robert
Dr. Zimmerman performed a surgical implant. He is an absolute master surgeon achieving wonderful result. Despite numerous blog reports of long and painful recovery, I had minimal pain and half the recovery time reported by most. My recovery time was significantly less than predicted by Dr. Z prior to surgery. So far, outcome has been better than expected, and Dr. Z continues to treat me like his favorite patient.

    Zimmerman, Dr. Robert
Dr. Zimmerman has been very responsive.  He uses robotic techniques which are very non invasive.  The largest incision he had to make was about t 1 1/2 inch long to removed the whole prostrate gland.  He keeps me well informed, and I will continue to be his patient.

Dr. Zimmerman did a great job. Work around my schedule and walked me step by step through the procedure. Would highly recommend him.

    Zimmerman, Dr. Robert
Dr. Zimmerman seems to be a very knowledgeable and professional urologist. He took the time to discuss living and dealing with kidney stones. He is also very approachable and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a good urologist. My only complaint was it took over 3 weeks to get an appointment via a referral from my primary care doctor. I am not sure why I guess they are just that busy.

The experience has been fine. I had a problem with the billing because I switched to Medicare. Coordinating the benefits with Medicare and my secondary provider has been sort of chaotic.

    Zimmerman, Dr. Robert
He is absolutely a genius.  He is fantastic and wonderful.  I can’t say enough good things about this man.  He took excellent care of me.  He is kind, considerate and I had a tumor growing out of my kidney, which he took care of.  He kept me informed about what was going and I have already recommended him to 3 people.  He has his MD as well as his urology degree.  He can check on anything and visits almost all the hospitals in the area.

    Kilambi, Dr. Nirmal K.
The clinic is an older building and quite dated. The staff could be a little friendlier. I had to wait a little bit past my appointment time the first visit. Dr. Kilambi himself is friendly and listens to your questions. He explained my tests and their results so that I understood them.

    Brekelbaum, Dr. Chad
Warning: it's All About the Money. Dr, Brekelbaum prescribed a medicine to which I was severely allergic. Ended up looking like a movie monster, in the Emergency Room. (I hesitated to call Brekelbaum because he charges $195.00 for a phone consult.) So I waited for my next appointment.... But at my appointment - - although he knew about the horrific reaction I'd had to medicine he prescribed - - he didn't even ASK about my E.R. visit!! Nor did he ask any other health-related question. Instead, he told me he could not see me again because I would not sign paperwork agreeing to pay more than my insurance company's contracted price. Medical bills are the reason I have no retirement fund left! I have paid tens of thousands of dollars - - and am still paying the balance on medical bills from 2012! - - and I simply have no money to pay more than my insurance company has agreed to pay. Brekelbaum said he was required to get this money from me, by law. I'm afraid he's a liar - - other urologists don't. He asked me to name one who didn't. I did. Brekelbaum then implied that the reason his colleague didn't balance bill was because his colleague was incompetent, and would take anybody for any fee. (Not only was Brekelbaum being unprofessional, he was tacitly admitting that his assertion he was "required by law to balance bill" was a lie. Checking on that, it turns out - - indeed - - Brekelbaum was lying: there is NO law saying that doctors must collect from every patient more than that patient's insurance company contracts to pay. See [*** Link removed ***] Anyway - - that was enough. I left.
