Pediatric Care reviews in Fayetteville

  • We saw Dr. Ball and Dr. Swindle for sick visits. This practice has a sick office separate from their well visit office, which I appreciate. I called both times first thing in the morning and was able to get same day appointments that worked with my schedule. Both doctors were great and I would see either of them again. Billing is timely and can be paid online.

  • I took my daughter to her appointment and we went in shortly after her appointment time. They have numerous doctors in this practice and it can be difficult figuring out who to see. My daughter (who is 22 and mentally/physically challenged) had been a client of this practice for many years and typically saw her primary care doctor. However, he was unavailable for this date so she saw another physician in the practice. His advice for her messed up toes was to do nothing; he said he had a fungal infection on his toe and had done nothing and that's what she should do....there was really no cure for it. I decided after meeting with him that it was time to move on from the pediatric doctors. Further dealings with this group trying to get a referral were even worse; the staff here needs a lesson or two in customer service!

  • Dr. Sharkey is kind and my children respond well to her. She has a good bedside manner that we all love. I have never had a problem getting a same day sick appointment. I also love that it is not a huge office. It is just Dr. Sharkey, her nurse, and her administrator. I really like being able to see the same doctor on every visit! The one drawback is that the office is closed on Fridays. However, the kind of care we receive, and the personal attention is well worth it.

  • Dr. Fankhauser was the epitome of what a great doctor should be. He listened closely and carefully, asked questions when appropriate, took his time with us and has kept in contact with us in a very timely manner through email. He was very thorough, knowledgable and performed the appropriate tests needed. Fantastic doctor!!!

  • The last appointment we had was for a stomach virus.  We saw Dr. Ball in the after hours clinic and he was in the room within 5 minutes so I was very pleased with the no waiting.  He was super nice as were the nurses that checked us in.

  • I have used the NWA peds since my daughter was born in 2010. So far, every doctor she has seen has been extremely nice. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room to be called back. The only drawback to this clinic is that there are so many doctors, and unless you are willing to wait, you might see a different one every time.

  • Our 7 month old was born with a heart condition. Since he was a newborn in the hospital Dr. Davis has been his primary care physician. During this very difficult time Dr. Davis treated us like family and was compassionate about our situation. We love Dr. Davis so much that we switched our 3 year old from his primary care physician. We live over 30 mins away from his office and could choose from many other pediatricians that are closer to home but we will always be willing to make the drive just so the boys can go to Dr. Davis. We have seen other doctors at the facility and they have been great as well.

  • It went well, as all of our visits with Dr. Park do. She and the nurses had to take a blood sample from my 3 year old and it was very difficult, needless to say. They alldid an excellent job of assuaging his fears.

  • We like her service and bedside manner. She is awesome. Our oldest son is using the ADHD patch and she is just really good about helping him with the right dosage and working on the issues. She is just amazing. She calls to check up on him after she changes his prescription to follow up and make sure that everything went well.

  • They have wellness center and an urgent care. We always take our daughter to wellness center, but we went in because she was sick it was more of an emergency. They wouldn't accept and were willing to take us with an appointment that afternoon. So, we left and went somewhere else. That was the only problem we had with them. I chose to go there because the pediatricians of the hospital where my daughter was were from this clinic and we hadn't looked anywhere else. We are stuck in the middle because they are so big that we have to make yearly appointments months in advance because we want to see Dr. Sean Livingston. He was her fist pediatrician in the hospital. We just kept going him because he is young and is extremely nice with the kids. We have remained with this practice they are good and organize and we have to wait. The doctors there are really good. One of the doctors there gave her a book that keeps the account of her visits.
