They're wonderful because they found out what my problem was and they are fixing it. They're also awfully good-looking. I had a serious issue and they found out what it was. It was actually something growing inside my spinal column, and they found it and they're treating it and we're making it all better. They're always there when I need them.

These guys practice what they preach! I see Blair Masters or Dr. Gibson every month or so for chiropractic care (I've had neck surgery and they are the only ones I will trust with it. They use a different technique than anyone else I've seen and can get my neck to easily adjust) and I consult with Dr. Masters about general health care. I believe in good supplements but have never had such measurable results as in this particular instance. I've always had healthy low blood pressure (90's over 70's) but when I went to donate blood about 2 years ago, it was up to 145/95. It stayed up for about a year. I mentioned it to Dr. Masters and he did a quick and easy muscle test, and told me it was because of my kidneys. He gave me a natural supplement to take and after maybe 6 months, my pressure is back down to my usual 90's/70's!  I've been to many chiropractors over the years, and am so happy to have found these docs. They are the best! Dr. Master's wife, Stephna, offers a 'boot camp' after hours at the office and she is fantastic as well. She is a triathlete and is very tuned in to everyone's physical abilities and, even though you're in a group, she tailors it to each individual. Go go go!

I am on disability because I have a lot of back problems. I see this doctor once per month to maintain my medications. If you have a real problem, I recommend this doctor. Other doctors perform unnecessary tests that don't get to the root of the problem. This doctor listens to what you have to say. If one treatment doesn't work, he will find another solution.

    Smile Center
I saw a dentist at the Smile Center and I have to tell you, I have been several times before and each time, this grown woman will cry because I just fear the dentist experience that much. However, each time, the dentist would hold my hand and even wipe my tears. I would sit there in the chair and have work done and a nurse would not only aid the doctor but would hold my hand most of the time. I can't say enough about these people. At this specific time, I had 2 teeth desperately needing fixed. The dentist consulted with me about a couple of options but what it came down to was me just saying to remove them. The dentist did not like that even though it was an option but accepted it and continued with the service and after-care like it was the best option he gave me. I really feel like this dentist is not about making the biggest profit they can. They have been very pleasant for the 5 years that I have been seeing them. I would recommend them to anyone.

They drilled on my teeth without any medication because they said they were just removing temporary crowns but the crowns would not budge. The doctor could not get the crowns off so he started drilling to break them apart. I told him it hurt and I showed distress, but he just kept drilling. His process was barbaric! I left I hurting and not happy with them and will not go back!!

It snowed unexpectedly and I was 15 minutes late, but they said come in when I called. The dentist wanted to start the procedure without the laughing gas, but after discussion brought it out and set up. Left me for a bit to let it work but set the flow too low. My hands just stayed clenched. Finally they turned the flow up and then did the procedure when my hands stopped clenching. I was no where near relaxed, just less anxious about the procedure. No idea why they call it laughing gas. The dentist drilled away a portion of my gum below the fill on one cavity. He didn't apologize, just told me I would need a gum graft and left me to schedule one and pay for his mistake. That was almost a year ago. Was hoping the gum would just grow back but it has not and the tooth is sensitive. I have not returned to this provider, and can not recommend the Springdale branch of the Smile Center.

I had been using this doctor for years; my daughter also used him. In fact, he saw both of us at the same time, which saved a slot for another patient, and he supposedly gave my daughter a discount because she was seen as E2. He told her as long as she paid $50 per month, that would be fine. We both took him at his word and never ask for anything in writing. When I first started there, which was about 2005, he pushed shots in my back, shoulders, and arms. I took them until I realized they were doing no good whatsoever. The only thing the shots helped were his pocketbook. I guess maybe he makes more money for shots, and that is why he tries to talk patients into taking them. The pain pills, even though they made me sick at my stomach, helped the pain far more than the shots. Dr. Piechal is very rough in his care. He also gets very upset if you question something he says or does, and if you complain something hurts, he calls you a “baby”. He has made me cry more than once, sometimes from the pain and sometimes from the humiliation. He also has no respect for any diagnosis from other doctors prior to seeing him. I have been diagnosed with RSD by three doctors here and one in Crawford county that I have Reflex Sympathy Dystrophy (RSD) but he swears I do not have it. Everytime I ask him to refer me to a specialist, he would say, “A specialist cannot do anymore for you than I can.” He did refer me to a nephrologist once because I he said if my kidneys dropped any more I would have to go on dialysis. Here I had been coming to him for six years and gripping about my kidneys and it took him years to do something about it. He just kept giving me UTI meds. I had to go in the hospital December 21 of 2013 because I stopped breathing. This was also the day of my appointment with Dr. Piechal, but it was 5:00 AM, so I had no way to call the doctor and tell him I would not be there that day. We were treated like trash because I had to miss my appointment. I had just spent 12 days in the hospital literally fighting for my life and they were mad because they never got money for the appointment. Never mind that I could not breathe. I was still very ill when I left the hospital, I could not wait to get back to my doctor to get some medication, but when my daughter and I went in for our next appointment in January, we were refused service. My daughter’s balance was $40 and her visit that day was $85, which made it $105 for the full balance. Even though Dr. Piechal had a verbal agreement with my daughter for $50 per month, the girl working said that Dr. Piechal said we had to pay the whole balance or he would not see us. Since we never had the other measly $20, they sent us away. They were very upset because we missed our appointment in December. I guess the doctor thought I planned to quit breathing. They turned us both away even though we needed our meds that day. I had no breathing meds for my COPD and no pain pills, and my daughter had no meds either. They did not care. That is why I say this doctor is out for the money and does not really care about his patients. If you were lying in his office dying, if you owe him so much as $5, he will just let you die. If he cared, he would not have turned us away because we were only short $20 of the whole balance, and we had always paid him. He knew I needed breathing meds and pain pills. He is a jerk!!! . If they had told us ahead of time he had renigged on his verbal contract with my daughter, we would have borrowed the money from someone, but they never even told us we had to pay more until we got there and and then refused us because we could not pay what we never even knew they wanted us to pay. Talk about GREEDY!!! We received a GAP check and had the $105 now, so I called to set us up another appointment and the PRICE HAD CHANGED AGAIN !!! It was now $205. It went up $100. Come to find out, they charged us for a “no-show” even though we did show. So in a nutshell, they never told us we had to pay more than $50, even though we always did. They refused to see us or give us any meds, and then they charged us for a no show of $80 even though we were there. I had used this doctor for 7 - 8 years and had missed three appointments in all that time. He just never made enough money on me after I refused the 4 – 6 shots in my back so he never cared if was his patient or not. The shots hurt, and they never helped, so why take them. They are supposed to be dangerous I hear. But nothing is dangerous to Dr. Piechal if it makes him money I don't think. This doctor needs to be banned from the medical field. He is not fit to be a doctor. I doubt it will do any good, but I am writing a letter to the medical board and turning him in for what he did. I felt obligated to post this so the public could learn how this doctor is. If anyone uses him and works out a payment arrangement, they need to get it in writing because his verbal contracts are a joke. He changes them after he makes them. We were forced to sign a new one agreeing to $85 per month, or they were going to refuse us service again and we were really in dire need of our meds. You cannot just find a doctor overnight. Also, be careful and do not miss appointments. This upsets him. He pointed his finger at me and said, “If you do not show up for your next appointment, do not bother coming back at all. I am sick and tired of your b*******.” That was his very words. He was really mad because I had to go in the hospital and he treated me like trash because I had to miss my appointment. He is not fit to be a doctor. Doctors are supposed to care about their patients. He cares about the money he gets from them and if he does not get it, they mean nothing to him. He also treats Medicaid patients as a lower class of people. He lets them know that he and other tax payers are the reason they get a check. If he does not like people on Medicaid, he should refuse taking them instead of taking them and humiliating them because they are disabled. A person feels worthless after he says things like that to them. It makes depression worse. He gives them pills to help depression and then turns around and gives them plenty of reasons to be depressed. He told me once I did not appreciate a d*** thing, and this was because he was in a bad mood and not anything I had said or done. No wonder his first wife was a dope head, or so he told us. He probably drove her to drugs with his rude attitude. He definitely needs an attitude adjustment and so does his staff! I will NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone.
