Tile Installation reviews in Fayetteville

  • Excellent service. Quick response and appointment scheduling (even during busy Thanksgiving season). Liz and her crews are very professional. After measuring the home a price was determined and the crew went to work directly. The work was completed quickly and to our complete satisfaction. Will certainly use Dehart's services again.

  • Tim and David are the greatest! Such a fantastic combination of professional expertise and get-'er-done tenacity for a reasonable price! Very easy to work with--it's hard to find folks who are easy-going and pleasant who also have the drive to get things done. Jacob, the finish-carpenter is an absolute gem. We were also using re-purposed materials that necessitated many changes as the project progressed to incorporate what had been scrounged from Habitat ReStore and other locations----the guys were just great about brainstorming and making these materials work when I'm sure they were secretly pulling their hair out. The only drawback is their schedule---seems like enough people have found out how great they are that their schedule is overbooked. Don't let this deter you, though, just book early and know that you'll have to wait and there may be delays.....absolutely worth it!

  • Some tiles were not centered or grouted.  Unprofessional work and left the work area a mess.  Tiles were not sealed or cleaned after they were done.  Entire house covered in dust and no clean-up afterwards.  Ended up having to hire a cleaning service to do commercial type of cleaning for the entire house because of of this.

  • I found Floors by James on Angies List and selected based on the reviews. Before the install, James came for measurements.  He arrived, showed me his certifications, explained the process, and took measurements.  While I had him measure other areas of my home, I indicated to him that I would split the work into several jobs  - he had no problem with this.  Since I planned to install wood plank style tile, I made sure that we discussed the layout - in my research, I liked the random layout the best.  We agreed that this would be the style used for the install.  James sent his estimate and we later agreed on an install date for the first section.  The estimate included taking up and disposal of the carpet which was being replaced.  He also provided me details on materials to purchase (amount of tile, mortar, and grout).

James was there through the entire install.  He was very meticulous about the placement of the tiles to ensure they lined up.  He had a helper who did some tile laying, but mostly kept the materials close by while he worked.  The first two days were spent setting tile with the third and last day for grout.  James is very personable - several times during the install, I would ask him how things were and details on his technique.  He was more than willing to share while he worked. After living with the current installation for a few months, I plan to call him back for the next section.

  • After receiving a good estimate from a lovely young woman who said the work could begin the following week, the job was delayed repeatedly. Two others came from Tommy's and gave different estimates and when we questioned them, we were told the woman "no longer worked" for Tommy's. Eventually, a contract was signed for $2,400 with us supplying all materials and doing all necessary demolition. After a month-long delay, the work was finally done over a long weekend. Turns out this "family" business uses only subcontractors. Further, not only did we pay $2,800 [$400 over the contracted amount, though we had made no changes to the contract], but were contacted yesterday by an attorney in Florida trying to collect $1,000 we supposedly still owe. This happened without a word from Tommy's Tile. We have a signed contract and proof of payment. This whole experience, which began on such a good note with that young woman, has been a nightmare that continues even after the work is done.

  • We had Legacy perform two flooring jobs - tear out and install of both tile and wood flooring (see above). They were wonderful to work with, hard workers and always explained each step of the process. We were able to pay half before jobs and the remainder after jobs were done. Highly recommend this company! Richard, the owner, is extremely professional and meticulous. His family worked on our floors and were great to work with also.

  • James does a great job and is a great person. He went out of his way to help me with a time sensitive project and was very fair on pricing and his work was great. will definitely use again and would have no problems recommending him to a friend

  • The next time we need anything done, we will definitely use Allpro again.  Leslie in the office was helpful, friendly and easy to talk to.  Robert's professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge and craftsmanship are really outstanding.  He did things the right way and didn't cut corners, but kept in mind that we are not rich people and didn't do unnecessary things just to make a little more money.  He and Devon got our project done quickly and we couldn't be happier with the results!

  • All work above was done in a very professional manner. Approximate time was four days to complete. Supervisor and workers were very courteous and on time. I would highly recommend for any painting, tile or general home repairs or remodeling.

  • Joe met with us three times at our house.  We gutted the bathroom ourselves by taking down wallpaper, removing tile and removing a very large bathroom.  We also painted the cabinets and painted the walls. Joe put down tile, textured the walls, dug up concrete to move a toilet and replace the tub.  He did wood working and plumbing and dry wall, tile and all kinds of plumbing.  It took about a week.  He was polite, prompt and professional.  He did a fantastic job and worked with us to keep the cost down by doing work ourselves.  Our bathroom is amazing!
