Hvac Repair reviews in Farmington

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • They are probably the best company to use. I would call them out in the spring. They were very professional. They had good pricing for what they did. They were very knowledgeable in what they were doing. My interaction with them was great. I had no problems. They did above and beyond. The quality of work was excellent.

  • They do excellent work. I have used the company for about 4-5 years. They came recommended to us by a neighbor because the company we were using went out of business. I like having a contract with them. Whenever we have any kind of issue with the system they come right out to repair the issue. The same technician, Toby, has been coming out for about 4 years. My sister also works with Toby and really likes his service. I have never had an issue contacting the company or scheduling them out when I need.

  • What a scam! What was supposed to be a routine annual servicing of my heat and air conditioner, which they reported were working well, turned out to be "I need to replace my entire ductwork". The technician showed me photos of supposed "fungus, mold and other dirt/debris", which of course concerned me. This was followed by a meeting with their salesman the next day. Before the salesman arrived, I had done considerable research on ductwork as well as the two additional devices they also advised I had to have in addition to new ductwork (a polarized Air Cleaner and UV/Ozone Germicidal Air Purifier), all to the tune of $8,300.00.  Naturally, I got a second opinion, this time from someone that has a reputation in our community of being very fair and honest. He indicated my ductwork was perfectly fine and did NOT advise me to replace it. He was however perplexed as to why there was a knife slit in ductwork tubing. It was very obvious that the Bud Anderson HVAC tech that took the pictures, could only do so by slicing it open to take the pictures, and left it as is without repairing the slit opening. Unbelievable! I would not have known this had I not obtained a second opinion, who of course repaired that section of the ductwork and refused to charge me for it. Also, as a side note, the $900.00 "polarized Air Cleaner" they quoted me that I HAD to also have, I found it online directly from the company that makes this for $295.00.
Consumers, I have learned a VERY valuable lesson. Don't ever assume a family-owned HVAC company that's been in business for 45 years as reputable. One can certainly understand HOW they've managed ot be in business this long with SCAMS such as this.

  • The cost was really reasonable. They quickly serviced it, he had to go get a part and then come back and then he really suits me because of the other schedule and mine was one of those call in 24 hour thing, he worked me in and it was like he didn't work me in, it's like an appointment for months so I was really  happy with him. It was really inexpensive, I think it was about $60 total and he put additional pipes on and everything else, and he made 3 trips because the problem was he had to go get the parts to extend the pipe. He came right out that morning, he worked me in and he got out here and fixed it, he had to go get parts and run. I thought he would be gone a couple of hours, he was gone in less than half an hour to get parts and then he was back.

  • Called the main office and had a very polite and friendly young lady answer the phone. I must say that it was some of the best customer service I have ever received. Although we did not have an emergency, she informed me they could have a tech at the house at 9:00 the next morning. She told me that he would call a half hour before to verify the appointment and let us know he was on his way.
At exactly 8:30 the next morning, my wife received a call from Eddie, our technician. He let her know that we was about 15 minutes away and asked if it was okay to come by a few minutes early. I mean, who does that? My wife said he was very nice, very professional and took care of our maintenance service in no time. She told him that our unit was old and that other HVAC companies had been telling us for years that it needed to be replaced. He tested ours and said it was working great. Obviously the "other guys" were just trying to sell us a new one.
Could not be happier with Paschal. Would highly recommend them.

  • Furnace quit working while cold temperatures were hitting. Called and setup an appointment and they showed up the next day. I explained how it came about and the technician knew exactly what was wrong, explained it to me and fixed it quickly. Very professional.

  • Our compressor was giving trouble in our original AC unit and just could not keep up with the heat.  Corey came out to the house, inspected everything, including climbing into our hot attic to inspect all the duct work on a 100 degree day.  He gave me options, and a ballpark figure for replacing the entire unit.  We opted to go ahead and replace in order to get the 10 year warranty.  They were able to come out a day ahead of schedule and were within $100 of the ballpark estimate.  Great service - wonderful folks to work with!

  • Outstanding. Very pleased. Cannot say one negative thing about this company. They took care of me when my furnace quit in February. Fast forward to summer and time to upgrade the AC. Bob was knowledgeable and informative about our options and requirements to meet the efficiency requirements for the federal tax credit. I definitely recommend Ozark Mountain Air.
