Dr. Robert R. Perry, MD, Family Practice
He's honest, courteous and kind. He's more for the patient then for the money. I will continue to use his services in the future.

Doctor Keuter performed surgery to remove a kidney stone and seemed to have done an excellent job. He keeps crazy hours - such as when we first laid eyes on him it was 12 in the morning. Even though that was very confusing to my father-in-law who has dementia, it was understandable and we worked through it. He did call us, the family, after the surgery to update us and tell us how well things went. Informed us he does have more stones but he would test the one removed stone to see what course of action was needed. Verbally we were asked to make a follow up appointment. Upon discharging however, we were given no written discharge instructions. Nothing was discussed about what to expect, what to not expect, etc. Normally I would think we would be told that if swelling, fever, etc appears we need to contact someone. We recieved nothing of the sort. 2 days later his pain was so terrible, according to him -worse than before, he was running fever and the amount of blood in the urine was horribly scary and he had lost control of urinating. Nausea, vomiting and no sleep began. We called the doctor's office and were put on a call back list. By the following day we took him to the E.R. where he was checked out and they found his urine to be okay. On the follow-up appointment a week later no urine sample was taken. The appearance of more stones was discussed breifly. Still waiting on the test. 3 weeks later all the syptoms- pain in his back, no control over urination, vomiting, nausea, no sleep, fevers and chills off and on- these were worse than before. Almost 15 pounds had been lost and his weakness now caused him to fall frequently. None of these symptoms had been present before the stones. Over those 3 weeks I called on average twice a week explaining those symptoms and were told everything was probably okay but we should wait on the test results. Meanwhile my father-in-law got worse. When calling it seemed we were put off repeatedly. Finally called and requested a sooner appointment...after being treated rudely by a nurse who told me my priorities were lacking (mine?? really??), He was finally fit in. We went to the office, which by the way is clean and nice and the most of the staff is friendly, they took a urine. The symptoms were laid on the table and he didn't go over one of them-except the nausea where Dr. Keuter was nice enough to point out how many things can cause upset stomache. Not just kidney stones! I had to specifically request he share a proposed plan of action. He stated we would check to see if there were other stones (note above he'd pointed out day 2 there were). Then bloodwork and a urine sample. He took the urine sample and not the bloodwork. We were told his urine looked and quot;good.and quot; The other tests would take a week or less. The following day the family decided his health couldn't wait a week to see what was wrong. Taking him to a different hospital he was examined. The on call physician stated he had and quot;a lot of blood in his urine.and quot; Not sure why Dr. Keuter didn't see that the previous day. He is also passing another stone which is a likely cause of the nausea, vomiting and pain. Not sure why he still has no control over urination. We are presently seeking another doctor for follow up. I have no trust for him and feel my family member did not reciecve proper care and attention from Dr. Keuter. I would not refer anyone to this particular doctor. The other doctors in his office have always done fine for other family members.
