    I use them because they provide a wide range of products. They advised us to keep our old internet and main phone line in the event that we would use faxing services because of their reliability. We currently pay $52 for the dish service and about $120 for the cell phone service.

    The technician was very pleasant and was familiar with the area, since they are contracted with Direct TV.  It took a couple of hours for him to re-wire the house for phone and cable.  Once done he went over with me how the cable box worked, the remote and the how to's on how to reset the box if needed.  He explained that in heavy rains our satellite will go out, I like to be told up front what will happen so when it does I am prepared to either call in a problem or wait it out.  Also he mentioned that if there was  a problem in the next 30 days to call him and he would come out to fix it.  I did have one glitch called the number on the card he gave me and he walked me through my problem.  I would recommend Direct TV to anyone.

    The installer, Lance, called asking for directions. He was scheduled to come between 12-4, he arrived at 12:10. He went through each room to see what would need to be done. He quietly avoided my daughters room who was asleep, at my request. He was willing to speak to my husband on the phone to make sure everything was right.

    I'm pleased with their service but I wish it didn't cost that much. I don't have any problem with their customer service. I've been using them for quite some time. I think I'm paying too much. All the service people who have been here have been very professional, courteous and friendly.

    I paid my monthly bill on 2/19. On 2/19 and for the two days since, I have been constantly receiving the threatening on-screen message stating that if my bill isn't paid within 48 hours my service will be suspended. As I've already stated, I paid my bill on the due date, so there shouldn't have been an on-screen message at all. It started the morning it was due. I don't appreciate the harassment I receive from Dish Network. They can't wait 12 hours for their money but they can make you wait a week when you call in for repairs?! When I call in to customer service about the on-screen message, I'm told to acknowledge it by pressing "Ok" twice. I have pressed "Ok" probably a half dozen in the last two days and it's useless just like their customer service reps.
