    Stites, Dr. Phillip C.
Great. Recommended medicaiton to try and to follow up after 3 weeks of application of Rx'd meds and advised if Rx'd meds where not effective then would investigate further for possible cancer, etc. I used meds as Rx'd and got better right away. Upon my follow up he recommended medication for future use. Also reommended treatment (medication) for thinning hair which I am using at this time.

He was wonderful. I had something on my face and my family doctor didn't know whether it was cancer and so sent me to Dr. Stites. I had been there for months and could not get rid of it but then he gave me some medicine that got it gone in two weeks and it was not malignant. He just seemed very knowledgeable and explained it thoroughly. I checked a couple of other places and went on to pick my medicines. My doctor made the appointment so there was no trouble getting in. I waited for about twenty minutes and that's pretty good for this area. Medicare takes care of me and I have a supplement so I don't pay Co-pay

For my most recent contact with them, I've used their nurse practitioner and it was fine. I've been satisfied with their service. The doctors and the nurse practitioners seem competent. The staff seem to be very competent, they all know their jobs. They make you feel comfortable, they explain what they're doing. They get you in and out, you don't have to sit there and wait forever. So they're very proficient in what they're doing.

He's great. He's great with kids. He seemed interested in their hobbies, what they're doing, their school. He has questions. They're all very nice. It's in a clinic where there's a lot of other doctors in a lot of different kinds of field. It's like a medical clinic. They have people that are doing obstetrics and all kinds of stuff. It's a big clinic. They offer a lot of different kinds of specialties. He's a good guy. You can't just get an appointment today. They're busy. For regular scheduled stuff, it's good but if you need to get in really quick, I don't know of any dermatologists in the area that you get into really quick.

Dr. Stites is very thorough and explains everything well. He is confident, reassuring, but not arrogant. He listens to the patient and is extremely informative and obviously very intelligent.

Check in was great. Office staff were very friendly. Reception area was nicely decorated and clean. I did not have to wait long to be called into the exam room. An assistant interviewed me and asked why I was there and if I had any specific concerns. I told her a check up and told her about a couple of spots on my skin that I wanted checked. She said fine and noted the areas I was concerned about. She left and about 5 minutes later Dr. Sandy Johnson came in. She was friendly but very intense. She asked what I was using on my skin and told her I'd just bought a retinol treatment from the facialist I use. She got very serious and said, and quot;Don't buy your skin treatments anywhere else but here.and quot; I said, and quot;Oh, okay.and quot; She promptly looked at the areas of my concern and told her assistant to remove a mole on my stomach and have it biopsied. Dr. Johnson smiled very big and said, and quot;Anything else?and quot; I said, and quot; No, I think that's about it.and quot; Still smiling, she said goodbye and was gone. The entire time of the exam was less than 5 minutes. The assistant removed the mole, which was relatively painless, and gave me instructions on how to take care of the area and encouraged me to call if there were any problems or if I had any questions. I would give the experience overall a B+ mainly because of her support staff. I ended up purchasing a retinol treatment at checkout when I paid my co-pay. It ended up being twice as much as from my facialist and I really can't tell any difference between the two. I felt a little pressured to purchase it. I'll probably go back next year for my annual check up but that's all. Dr. Johnson's bedside manner is a little brusque.

    Luminessence Medi Spa
The Limelight treatments are a work in progress. It usually takes more than a couple of treatments to get the desired results. I am extreamly pleased with the botox and filler. My main concern was vertical lip lines and the marionette lines on either side of my mouth. These were gone when I left the office. I did have considerable bruising, but I was warned that this could happen. It was gone within days. The botox was used on my forehead and around my eyes. Within in a few days there was a marked difference. My face is expressive, but without the deep lines that I had before. I appreciate that this office did not and quot;pushand quot; product, nor did they persuade me to do more than I personally wanted. They took time and answered all of my questions. I feel that their prices are fair and comparable to other facilities in the area. However, when having these types of procedures, price should not be the deciding factor. I understand that this is a temporary and quot;fixand quot;, but I will not hesitate to return to Luminessence.

I think he is very thorough. I like him and I would recommend him. He graduated from a very good medical school. There is a bit of a wait time in his office. I did not have a problem getting in to see him a couple of years ago. His office is nice, it can get crowded. I usually have to wait 30 to 45 minutes.

He has a good bedside manner. He was able to remove the skin cancer from me and my husband. He also removed my son's keloid which was an excess scarring and it looks like it wasn't there. He is a good surgeon and he is excellent in what he does.
