  • K9 Country is a facility that offers services for dog training needs-- that may be obedience or protection work.
I personally utilize the services for my GSD in personal protection.I travel with my job in some less than cordial neighborhoods- I always take my ready, willing and able K9 with me.  I venture to say that he has adverted many incidents by his mere presence
Butch, owner, stresses to train with real life situations  I know I am safer in my truck and my home because I follow the program
He also offers obedience training for all ( regular household ) dogs.  His training is done with decades of experience behind him--and kindness  He TALKS DOG.  If my location shows up, yes-- I do travel from Arkansas to DFW area periodically.
Because its worth it. I highly recommend his facility for training needs.

  • am usually very pleased with the way each of the staff members handles all animals there, but this last time there was a bit of a challenge.
One of the aids was a little rough with handling the dog, who had to be taken in a back door, since he is not dog or people friendly.  I suppose she was a little intimidated by  what she perceived as danger, (there was actually none, the dog has never bitten anyone), so she pulled him by the leash out of my mini van, which, of course, is elevated, and the dog was having trouble putting his weight on one leg.  It took quite a while to calm him down after that incident, but that was the only complaint we could make about any of our visits.  The staff is very professional and caring.  I have seen each of the doctors on duty with one animal or another,  of my own, or as was the case with this last time, with a visiting pet,and I have even had the very sad experience of having to put down two of my pets.  The staff are always kind and caring as well as professional in behavior.    They are extremely busy because they  benefif from being so professional.  By the way, the building is well designed.  The upper level is where the cats stay for boarding, and they have glass walls their "apartments", so they can watch the activity, if they chose to.

  • Happy Days was referred to us for boarding our two puppies. They were remarkable!!! They gave us a tour of the boarding area and gave us all the information needed to make us feel comfortable with leaving our babies behind. We were nervous about leaving them but the staff assured us they would be fine. We called multiple times to check in out the puppies and the staff didn't seem bothered or annoyed with us at all. After the initial stay we needed to board the puppies again on a very short notice. Happy days staff accommodated the puppies just as if we had reservations made for over a month. I can not say enough positive things about this place. I have been super impressed every visit and their prices are very reasonable. This is not a pet hotel by any means there are no sofas for the dogs and things like that but that is not what we were looking for. We were looking for a safe, clean, place for our dogs to stay with people who were going to care about them. We found that at Happy Days!!!

  • Our experience with them was very poor.  They had our dog for several hours and treated the wound as a possible spider bite which included trimming addition tissue from around the original wound.  They then wrapped her leg up and sent her home with us.  By the time we got home she was so weak she could not even stand or hold her head up.  We took her to our regular vet in the morning and she was stunned at the condition of our dog, was stunned at what they had done to her leg, and was stunned that with her condition she was not hospitalized.  We provided our vet with the blood work they had done the night before and again, she could not believe based on the blood work they did not keep her and treat for serious issues.
Our vet then referred us to a specialist and we took our dog there immediately after leaving our vet.  This vet was also completely shocked at what they had done to our dog by this clinic.

  • We have used the services of Wags and Whiskers for several years now. Michelle and her team are all animal lovers and really take an interest in our pets. We previously used a boarding service, but it was a hassle trying to insure we made it back to town before the designated pickup window ended as well as the dogs always came home smelling awful and a we never could be sure they were getting quality care.

A coworker recommended Wags to us and when Michelle came out to do her initial visit/orientation/pet interview, we knew immediately that our pets and home were in good hands. Another review mentioned the price being expensive, but it's actually a value if you have multiple pets as their rate covers up to 5 animals in a household and they are able to give your home a 'lived in' look while you are away....changing lights, checking the mail, watering plants, etc. While we've never had the need, it's nice to know that should we ever have an emergency come up that requires us to leave at a moments notice or travel issues that delay our return, Wags will be available to be sure our fur-babies are cared for and they get to stay in their own environment and not a cage or glorified closet that most boarders will provide.
We highly recommend them to everyone we know!

  • As my dogs have aged they have had several issues that have needed a vet's care. Dr. Miller and his staff have always provided top notch service. The best thing I can say about them is they have always treated my dogs like they would their own. I know when I have to drop them off that they will be loved and given the best care possible. From routine checks, to surgeries, to and quot;I am worried about them will you look them overand quot; I could not imagine going anywhere else.

  • My cat was in a fight with another cat and was scratched on the ear. It became infected and I had to take him to the vet. We have been to this clinic several times before and have always been at ease with the vets. There are two or three on duty at all times. The staff at this facility are always on top of things and ready when we get there. Sometimes when I'm in a rush they will let me leave my cat and  they will work him in and call me when he's done. If they need to do anything they always call first. They also try to keep costs as low as possible.  I am extremely satisfied with this clinic, the vets and the staff.

  • I had been using another vet but I moved and it was just way too far to take her in case there was an emergency. So, I had to change. I chose Congo Animal Clinic because a friend of mine uses them for her cat and she can't say enough good things about them.
Making an appointment was easy and the receptionist was very accommodating, making the appointment within a day or so. We were and quot;on timeand quot; (read, a few minutes late - my norm unfortunately!!) and the receptionist was very cordial and polite. The waiting area is clean and nothing fancy, but then it can't be because of cats and dogs climbing on everything, so I wasn't disappointed in any way. I waited a very short time (less then 15 minutes) and then had to wait in the room, which my dog didn't like, but she did well. I met Dr. Toms, who was very personable and pleasant to be around. He gave me a brief explanation of his history and education. He didn't do anything at first to see how Lucy would act with him in the room, and I liked that. We talked for a few minutes, he told me what he would do, and then began the exam. Lucy was comfortable with him and seemed to like him (yea!). It took a little longer for the test results than I am used to, but that's OK, everything was good. Checking out was quick, easy, and painless! The staff is very pleasant and they all want to see who is in the clinic and talk, and coo, and pet, and I like that! It is a very comfortable atmosphere and I will continue using them.

  • I have been using them for four years. They are friendly and clean. The experience is wonderful. The doctors take their time answer your questions about your pet. They work around your schedule and quickly get you an appointment. The staff is great all the way from the person who answers the phone to the vet.

  • I have 2 puppies and had another dog that died about a year ago. He is very responsive, excellent, likes what he does, and it's obvious. His prices are reasonable. I give him the highest ratings and will continue to use him in the future.
