AJs Home ImprovementFantastic, Chris designed an extension to the bench seating to prevent the dog from being able to be seen or to look over the privacy fence. The design was fantastic and it looks good. It was made from pressure treated wood and in 6 months or so I will be having Js Home Improvement back to stain the extension and the deck so they match in color. AJs Home ImprovementI was extremely pleased with J’s Home Improvement. First their quote was lower than two other quotes I was given. In addition, there was no mark up on the cost of materials and no hidden costs or additional costs of any type. I paid exactly what they quoted in their written quote. They were on time, did the work in the amount of time they said it would take, and completely cleaned up after the project was completed. I plan to use them again when it comes time to stain the new addition to the deck in a few months. I would recommend them to anyone for their home improvement projects. AAnthony & Sylvan PoolsIt went well overall. There were two mistakes made by the subcontractors: (1) they installed the wrong tile and (2) installed the wrong plaster. Both of the mistakes were promptly corrected by the A&S supervisor but my advice to potential customers is to watch each phase of the project closely and let your project manager know if there are inconsistencies, problems or mistakes. The overall project took longer than we expected (about 3 months) but that may be because we have never built a pool before. The quality of the finished product was great and A&S provided all the services expected. Joe Angrove, Lead Design Consultant, and Dan Dockery, Project Manager, both did outstanding jobs for us. Joe was a master at helping us design our pool and Dan was always available to ensure that the job was done correctly. Both were very professional and represented A&S well.- Fred B.

FArkansas Decks and MoreDO NOT EVER HIRE ERIC MATTHEWS with ARKANSAS DECKS and MORE. He has LIED to us. HE STOLE OUR MONEY and DID NOT DO ANY WORK AT OUR HOUSE!!!!! Here are the details: My husband and I decided to use Eric Matthews with Arkansas Decks & More to complete a backyard project. This project included removing a deck, pouring a concrete patio, building a pavilion, drain work and flattening a portion of our backyard. At first, Mr. Matthews was very quick to respond to us and was able to come to our house to discuss the project. He gave us a detailed estimate in a matter of days. Mr. Matthews picked up a check for our deposit on July 1. He told us he would start work on our project the beginning of August. The end of July rolled around and from that point on, any communication was started by me. Over the next 6 weeks I would text and ask when he would begin work. Mr. Matthews continued to say “next week”, “soon”, “I’m getting closer”, he told me TWICE he would be here “next week”. After weeks and weeks of not hearing from him (and 7 weeks after our project was supposed to start) we decided on September 17 to cancel with him. We sent an email to Mr. Matthews telling him we are cancelling our project with him and need our deposit in FULL returned to us. No response. Then I called him. I was sent to voice mail after 2 rings, so No answer. He got back to me via text on the evening of the 18th saying he had his concrete guy lined up for next week and apologized for taking so long. I responded telling him I understood but that we had decided to go a different direction and AGAIN, we are cancelling your job and expect our deposit back. I kept texting each day. He finally responded on Sept. 21, saying he was out of town and would get back to me next week (even though the week before he told me he was starting our project, but now he’s out of town??hmmm, doesn’t add up!) Since September 21 We have asked for our money back EVERY DAY. Mr. Matthews has not responded and has not returned our money!!! DO NOT EVER HIRE ERIC MATTHEWS with ARKANSAS DECKS AND MORE. He has LIED to us and he has STOLEN our money.- Eimear F.

AUnlimited Mobile WashJoe Frazier and his crew of four arrived promptly, received instructions, and worked diligently for over eight hours, pressure cleaning the vinyl siding and brick exterior of my house, large deck, and fences that had not been pressure cleaned since being built beside large oaks in 1991. Their work was meticulous and they were very considerate. They moved many flower pots, racks, all movable outdoor furniture, and the grill to clean the entire floor of the deck, replacing everything when their work was completed. The concrete looked freshly-poured, without stains. The siding and fences looked new. I don't know comparable prices for similar challenging jobs, but what I paid (about $31 per person per hour) was certainly less than the cost of a new paint job. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. In the future, I'll call Mr. Frazier annually for inexpensive touch-up pressure washing to prevent the pollen and mold from taking over again.- John S.

DIt took them forever to get started on my project. When they finally began, the posts were in my yard for over a week. Then the frame (or whatever it’s called) was up sitting untouched for a week. They finally came back and did the pickets. First day they worked about 1.5 hours and went home. When they came back and finished, the entire left side of my fence was done CROOKED!! & it is very noticeable. Everyone that has visited has made mention of it!!! I haven’t been able to use my walk-through gate since installed because the pickets are on the ground!! I was told TWO MONTHS ago that they will repair everything. As of today, there hasn’t been anything repaired and no one is answering my calls or replying to my texts. At first, it was “oh we had to order new pickets”, “oh my, the guys haven’t came by to repair that yet” or “I’m at work I’ll call back later when I’m off work”. Now there’s no reply to text or answering of the phone. I have been patient throughout this whole ordeal. However, this was all unacceptable. If you are looking for quality work, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!

AThese guys went above and beyond. They were very punctual and started working right away. They found the leaks and fixed them and even added extra flashing where someone else didn't add it. They told me to to keep an eye on those spots and if they leak again, they could come out there and fix it up free of charge. They gave me advice on adding a small gutter above my daughter's window. I feel confident they have fixed the problems. Will definitely call these guys again. I have had a lot of bad workers in the past, so I am saving this company's number to call in the future!

AI knew that I was going to need very good help with this water heater replacement. The old one was 22 years old and had a lot of sediment in it. Also the location was difficult to get to. Jack sheduled the appointment to fit my schedule. Brad and Mickey arrived promptly and tackled the situation. As expected, the drain was clogged and the tank was way too heavy to lift out without draining. When using air pressure failed, they pulled out a shop vac, jerry-rigged a small hose on the end and slowly suck out enough water to allow the tank to be lifted out. They're one of the best crews I've ever had working for me. I have my mechanic, my electrician, and now I have my plumbers. I'll never use anyone else and I highly recommend them.

ACrews were professional and worked hard to install the radiant barrier during my remodel. I know this was money well spent cause it is now the middle of summer in the house. With temperatures running the upper 90's-100 and no insulation in the attic (Still in remodel stage, but drywall is up), the AC system can keep it a nice 72 inside without any problems and without running all the time.
