Dryer frame was broken in move and was unrepairable, and he said so. He checked the washer and said it was fine. He didn't try to sell anything he couldn't actually accomplish. We appreciated that! He only charged for the service call. Will use him again if needed.

As soon as he left I ran a full load in the machine and it leaked again.  I called back to tell them that the machine leaked again and they said they would be back in the morning (today).  By noon they had not arrived.  I called and they indicated they would NOT be back and that my check would be returned.  Poor service, rude response and not very professional.  I won't use them again.

Well, they came out when scheduled, were very polite and tried for several times to fix this problem.  Thankfully, our refrigerator was under warranty, so there was no cost to us. Finally, after at least four visits, they fixed it and it has stayed fixed.
Then lately, we were having another problem with this refrigerator, and Lowe's has contracted another company to service their warranty covered appliances. This new company tells me that Whirlpool came up with the "permanent fix" seven years ago! Guess we'll see how this company does.

Sent request via Angie's List - received EM requesting call back/more details within 30 minutes.  Appointment made for next day, Tech called prior to arrival and was on time.  Friendly, clean, knowledgeable.  Quickly determined issue (timer broken) and provided quote for part/repair work.  Advised Dryer was in good condition and worth cost to repair compared to purchase of new Dryer.  Tech called Office to confirm availability and expected arrival for ordered part. Confirmed likely date of next appointment and that someone would call to confirm when part arrived.  Office called one day earlier than expected and appointment made to complete job that day.  In fact, Tech was running early, called to confirm ok to arrive earlier than expected.  It was the same Tech who diagnosed problem that installed part - again, he was clean, courteous, etc.   Cost ~$75+tax for diagnosis visit, ~$195 for part / installation.  Paid with Credit Card, they emailed receipt.  Would definitely call them when any other major appliance needs repair.

My cooktop stopped working after soup was spilled. I called my Home Warranty company and they sent A&L.  It was incredibly difficult to get an appointment - as they schedule appointments late in the afternoon for the next day.  I also work 8 to 5 so its hard to get 2 hours off the next day.  When they came out the first time (Color me embarrassed) he discovered that when the soup spilled it tripped the breaker.  He turned the breaker back on and the stove worked.  But since he was there, and i had to pay $100 he said he'd clean what he could of the spilled and dried soup.  To do that he disconnected all the wires.  RED FLAG.  he said everything was fine completed the work order and left.  When i cooked that evening the indicator lights did not come on.  I called and had the same difficulty scheduling an appointment.  We could not arrange a time in the next 3 calls, so they closed my order with the Home warranty company. i re opened the order, a different service tech came out and said i needed a part.  Then i get a all from HMS saying they were not going to cover the repair because spills on a store are not normal wear and tear.  What?!  After ME calling A&L back 3 times (they did not return any messages that i left) they said if they came back out it would be a new call; parts and labor and the $59.95 service call fee would be charged.  Needless to say I will NOT allow them anywhere near my appliances and will call a service provider with an A rating on Angie's List.  I will not be renewing with HSM Warranty company next year either.

Couldn't be happier.  First called about a month ago with an ice maker problem.  Kyle quickly trouble-shot and said it was the water valve not closing completely because of Bella Vista's hard water.  He ordered the part, but while waiting, the problem seemed to fix itself.  I asked if we could cancel the return trip to install the part, and he said that'd be OK since they could use the valve on another job.  He also told me I'd probably want him back in a couple of weeks when the valve acted up again.  A couple of weeks later, the door water dispenser began leaking, and when Kyle returned my call, he said the problem would still be the water valve.  I asked him to order it again, he came out, replaced the valve, and all is well with the ice maker and water dispenser.  Kyle was courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable, and the ladies I spoke with in setting up appointments were equally interested in great customer service.  One of the reasons I originally went with these folks was a service call charge that was less than half of what others were quoting - $30.  That was to be applied to any labor cost, but since I cancelled the installation of the first part, I was willing to pay that separately.  However, they held the work order open, knowing I'd be calling back, and they treated installation of the second part as if it was the first.  Just a really great bunch of people to work with.

On several occasions we have had drain problems with our french door refrigerator. Ice builds up in the bottom and then melts onto the floor. Luckily we took the extended warranty on this appliance and the repairs have all been covered. Recently we had the icing problem again and A-tech Appliance sent repairmen.
The A-tech men were very professional and friendly. They explained that Whirlpool had come out with a fix for our issue and they had a replacement drain tube assembly that would eliminate the iced up drain. In no time they had the part installed, removed the ice from the freezer floor and cleaned up their work area. We were advised that there should be no more problems but that we should call if there was.
The A-tech repairmen really knew their stuff. It was a pleasure dealing with them and I will definitely call them first if we have any issues with any appliance.

It had a bad compressor and he tried one fix. He said it may not work and if it does not, they will refund the price of the part and only charge for the service call. It did not work and they did just as they said and refunded cost of the part. Very positive experience with the company. This past weekend my tenant called with a wash machine that was not draining. I didn't hesitate who to call. They came out, had the part with them and replaced a bearing, total cost $137. Great all around experience.

First appointment with service tech was for late evening. However, due to backlog during day called to say they would have to reschedule. We thought the tech would notify the office but I had to call to reschedule. Service arrived on time for appointment, however, the problem with the ice maker required a part they had to order. Waited for them to call and we scheduled. Tech arrived promptly and fixed the ice maker. Overall, the price was fair considering the service man made two trips. Having been in the service business myself I understand you run behind. They did everything I would have done and handled to situation the same. I would call them again if I have any appliance repair.
