AFreewalt Builders IncMr. Freewalt and his crew did excellent work. He was honest and accurate in assessing needs for repairs of 38 year old home. They were punctual and professional. The final bill was $1,100.00 below the initial estimate.- Sherry S.

AFreewalt Builders IncThe worker came on time with the owner of Freewalt. We all conferred as to what needed to be done to make sure we were on the same page. They actually noticed a piece of the border in one entry way that needed to be repaired which was done. And another little project I asked them to do (restaple an edging) was done without objection or charge. So, trim was removed, bathroom door removed, edging removed. Walls were torn down, replaced, mudded, and prepared for painting which I did. On time, professional, and went beyond what was expected. I would use them again and recommend.- Barbara S.

AD K GUTTER & leaf XI hung all the drywall in my 1550 sq ft house but did not want to mud the joints. So I decided to hire that done. After looking around, I found DK Drywall. They were listed, and had a good rating in the Better Business Bureau - so I called them. They said they would call me on Saturday and come out for an estimate. They did! I did not have the same experience with others I had quote. They covered all the floors and did a reasonable job with the work they performed. After finishing, they cleaned up and asked me to mark up anything I wanted repaired. They made the minor repair and I paid them for their work. I thought they did a pretty good job and I'm kind of picky. The main thing I liked about this company is that they told me what they were going to do and did it, when they said they would. To me that's being professional!- Jeff W.

AD K GUTTER & leaf XD K Insulation contractor James came to the house within a couple days after we closed on the house to look at the project and provide an estimate. We agreed to a price of $1200 for removal of the popcorn ceiling and refinishing. The work was started the next week. The crew arrived at the time designated, taped off and covered walls and flooring, applied water to the ceiling, and removed the popcorn finish. Very, very, very messy but it is the nature of the project. After the ceiling dried, an orange peal finish was applied. The finish matched the walls perfectly. There were a few oversights, but the contractor was always responsive to correct. In addition to the original scope of work agreed to this group was willing to patch some holes as well as cracks at no additional cost. Because we were happy with the service provided, we recommended D K Insulation to the general contractors who were going to place bids on our bathroom renovations. D K Insulation was utilized for the bathroom renovation and again did an excellent job.- David R.

AVillage DrywallWe lost our home to Hurricane Ike. So we decided to relocate to Arkansas. We purchased a house that needed a little touch up. The first thing that needed updating was this house had the 'popcorn' Ceiling texture. the wall paint color throughout the house had to be changed. I contacted several contractors and asked for firm estimates on doing the work.. I did a 'walk through' with each of them so that the scope of work would be as close to the same as possible.. Village Dry Wall seemed to be the most knowledgable and competent of the three biders. His price was a little higher than the others but I felt that he would require less supervision and would do a high quality job at the same time... My feelings proved to be right. He finished on time and at the agreed on price.. The only change was that my wonderful wife decided that the baseboards needed painting as well. Mike Williams is the owner of Village Dry Wall but he is also the one who does the work, its just him and his son. I would recommend him not only for dry wall work but he also does roofing and some carpenter work...- Don P.

AFaith ConstructionHe is an absolute genius. He worked very quickly. He did a really fantastic job. He put my cabinets back perfectly. I cannot speak highly enough about him. He is very nice. He is very easy to get along with. I keep finding more jobs for him to do because he is so good. I would grade him with an A plus.- Edward C.

ACertaPro Painters® of Central ArkansasMostly went fine. There were some times that I needed to prompt workers to redo some work, but the work done was good. They couldn't find the faucet in the back and were cleaning their equipment in my newly installed bathtub in a renovated bathroom and scratched it in the process (very minor scratch), but had not asked about the faucet. I had a leak that went into the carpet and the plumber who came to assess the problem had to cut a hole in a wall that had just been painted, but they painters came back and fixed it with no trace that it had been cut. I had to tell them not to stand on beds to reach the ceiling and to make sure and cover everything completely, but otherwise all was good. They even moved beds up and downstairs for me for some tenants who were moving in in a couple of weeks. ( I tipped them for that). They were prompt and did a good job.- Karen B.

ACOOPER DRYWALL & FINISHING INCOne of our properties was a very beautiful late 40's and early 50's mid century modern house. It was unfortunately set on fire by a jealous tenant. It was gutted and the work was very tricky ,but David did a great job and watching him finish it out was good. When a house undergoes extreme, worst fatigue everything can get screwed and we dealt with all the little problems. Since, this was a modern house. It does not have any texture in it and it's finished out like the inside of a museum and it was perfect. He was the master and he restored it back. I would rate him high across the board and I would use him in the future.- Bob S.

AD K GUTTER & leaf XCame out and gave me an estimate of charges that covered best and worst case scenarios for repair. I accepted estimate and in about a week the repair man called and made appointment to make the repair. He did a great job, put down plastic to avoid a mess and was in and out rather quickly. I was very pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend this company.- Mary W.

AThe certapro team did a wonderful job! The customer service is what really impressed me. You could tell from the first interaction with Chris boatright and communicating with the office they care about their customers. The paint supervisor showed up on time, respected my belongings, and took care of the touch ups at the end as I requested

CThe job was completed in a timely manner. Roof looked good. Boards found later in my yard. An overhead light in my house was broken. I was told it would be replaced and installed. They never did. Moral: don't expect follow-up once they have have their money.

Since we are small and have a low overhead, we can afford to bid jobs at quite a bit lower than the competition. We take our job very seriously and we will not leave a job until it is done the way we would do it in our own home. However, we can get the job done very fast. We work very hard to make sure each and every customer is 100% satisfied, and ...

FThey did not show up when agreed to, they only worked half day but stated worked full days, did not remove their garbage from the job but was in contract to do job, and threw boards and shingles into wooded area on my property instead of removing per contract. They over charged on parts, materials where 6 dollars however charged me 25 dollars needed 20 items, not a big deal for one however when you need 20 of them it adds up. Repair to sheet rock was not done correctly you can still see tape lines under popcorn ceiling mix. Also he agreed to do certain jobs for the price but failed to do all work.
