  • I called for an estimate on a new roof and he came that afternoon with color samples. We needed 2 old power vents removed, and an old chimney vent removed. The old roof had to be removed and some decking replaced. Work crew of 6 arrived as scheduled and went right to work. They cleaned up as they worked. New roof looks great and the final cleanup was very thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend Estes for roofing.

  • After texting them a photo of my water heater they arrived late with the wrong shape tank. Instead of connecting the unit with similar piping, flexible hoses were used and I was charged extra for them. He used a pair of chanellocks on all the fittings instead of the correct tools. I can't access the drain for maintenance now because of the tank's shape. Spliced the electric supply with a smaller piece of cord (may be a hazard). Moved my drip pan around and now I have an opening to the outside that used to be filled with foam. I didn't even get my senior citizen discount that they advertise. I'll never, ever use their services again.

  • Did not go good. He only pumped half of the tank out and then closed it up without letting me know. It eventually clogged my septic lines and needed a brand new septic leaching field. Do not let this man do any work for you. He is a slimy snake. I even reported him to the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board with photos before and after the new company redid the job and they ruled that he owed me a refund. He did not comply with their decision.

  • The tech came out and performed all duties.  I did have questions later and Stephanie Sharp in Customer Service was great to work with.  She listened to my concerns about the differences in how my opener was working and sent another tech.  He was great and I am pleased.  I would definitely use them again.

  • I purchased two 21-Point A/C Tune-up and Cleans from Angie's List on August 24, 2015 between 7-8 AM.  I called the office shortly afterward to schedule my appointment.  I made an appointment for Monday, August 31, 2015 at 8:00 AM.  I received an email from Heidi on August 27, 2015 asking to schedule me.  I should have immediately responded, but did not.  I responded by email on August 30, 2015 stating I already had an appointment for the 31st.  I arrived home at 7:45 am and began waiting.  In the past, Hansen employees were very prompt, so I called around 8:20 am for an update.  Heidi was very apologetic and said she saw my email and tried to get someone out to me, but couldn't until 9:00 am.  I agreed to wait, but she called back shortly and said they couldn't make 9 and would schedule me for a time after work.  We agreed on 5:00 PM but no one showed up, called, or emailed.  I sent another email through Angie's List on September 1,2015 but never received a reply.  I called back in on Wednesday, Sept 2 at 3:25 pm and spoke to someone other than Heidi.  This person was the exact opposite.  She was very rude and sharply said, "The tech called your home and cell, but you didn't answer."  I calmly explained that I had been home and did not receive a call.  I later rechecked both phones and did not have a missed call on either.  If the tech actually did call, why would he not leave a message.  In the grand scheme of things it didn't matter because I was at home.  We made another appointment for Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 5:00 pm.  Again, no one showed up or called.  When I called at 5:20 pm, Ashley answered the phone.  She placed me on hold a couple of times and came back and said they received several calls from people that didn't have air.  I completely understand that, but what about the customer that paid upfront for a service and has been put off for 3 times now.  I'm very surprised because I used them before and they were great.  Three missed appointments with no regard of a customer's time is extremely bad.

  • Jeff was prompt in building our deck.  He was more than helpful in coordinating with the delivery of our hot tub and stayed later than planned when the delivery ran late.  He was also to quick to respond to questions afterward.  He takes pride in performing a good job and pleasing his customers.

  • It was a reasonable price considering everything that was there. He showed up, he was on schedule and completed as directed. He did all things I looked for. I wouldn't say he was extreme in deal but considering everything that was done here that was good. It was good quality and it was everything I expected. I was satisfied with them. He did what he said.

  • Wilshire was selected by my home warranty company to repair/service my A/C unit. They called me late in the day 2 days after being contacted. A voice mail was left and I tried to return his call but got no answer. Despite my leaving him instructions on the best time to reach me and my work phone it was 4 days before I spoke with him. My A/C unit was leaking and since I know my home warranty does not cover coil cleaning I asked how much it would be in case that was the problem. He quoted 450.00. I had already called several companies and asked how much it would be to have the filter cleaned and the others quoted 350.00 and lower. When I told him that was too much as I had the filter cleaned in my other unit less than a year ago for 260.00 he wanted me to send him a picture of my unit saying he may could do it for less. I sent him several pictures . He did not call me back and it was 2 days before I was able to get back in touch with him. He said he didn't get the pics and I sent them again 2 times. He then had me send them to his partner and I know his partner got them as he texted me wanting to know what they were. He never called me back. I called him repeatedly and left instructions again of the best time to reach me and my work phone. Nothing.  After more than 2 weeks of getting the run around I called my home warranty company and requested they send the company they sent to my home before. I don't know, in all fairness, what kind of work Wilshire does. But I can say they are very unresponsive . I know my A/C isn't the only one in need of repair but for goodness sakes RETURN YOUR CALLS!! And quoting 100.00 more than the majority of other companies for the same work made me know it was better for me to use someone else.

  • The first time I called and emailed I didn't get a response for almost 2 weeks. The owner called and apologized because he was out of town. They had a lot of work to catch up on. When he got me on the schedule, the were on time and did an excellent job.
