Not your typical doctors office. They are very efficient. Basically, a 1 stop operation with various doctors within the practice that can handle all concerns.

    Henry Beeler MD,PA
I’ve been going to Dr Beeler for 10 + years now. He takes time to listen and that means a lot to me in a Dr. His Bed side manner and staff is excellent and if you have to wait a little while in the waiting room until your called it’s because he takes time to listen to each patient. He doesn’t just rush you out like the majority of Dr.’s do. Next question about money, that depends on your insurance so my response is my copay if it shows up. I have BCBS

    Kissel III, Dr. Edward U.
I have had no problems with Dt. Kissel or his staff in all the years and times I have been to see him. I really like the way he explains what options are available. He seems to be able to spend as much time as needed. I have had no problems with the 3 joint replacement he has done for me. after all the years and visits I would not even consider anyone else to do this surgery.

    Bramlett, Dr. Kenneth W.
My recent hip replacement was done by Dr Bramlett.  He is an expert surgeon and did an awesome job on my new hip.  I am less that two weeks from surgery and doing great.  He is very direct and does not waste time, which is what you would expect.  I appreciated his recommendations and frankess, and most of all I appreciated his skill as a surgeon and the years of experience he brings.  THANK YOU DR BRAMLETT.

Dr. Lora Yeager-Smith is down to earth and straight forward. She has a good disposition and gets down to business. An excellent doctor and I recommend her highly.

Dr. Uptala is young, and my heart doctor is the one who keeps me going back to her. He wants me to try and stay with her and help her because he says that she is going to be an awesome doctor and that she just needs a little help. It's funny because when I started with my heart doctor, he was very dry. He had no bedside manner, and in my opinion, he just did not relate with his patients the way he should. As time went on, I sat him down and I said, and ldquo;Look, you've got to stop this. You've got to crack a smile; you've got to crack a joke. You've got to be more personable; you can't do this.and rdquo; I said, and ldquo; You know, most of your patients are in serious conditions and they need to smile. They need to laugh and feel some warmth from you. They don't need this coldness; you've got to stop this and I will train you.and rdquo; He just looked at me and started bursting out laughing and said, and ldquo; My god I've never had a patient talk to me like this!" And basically he's a totally different person now. He has told me, and his nurse has told me, that I've totally changed him and changed his practice. She says his patients just love him and they are so overwhelmed and all. So he told me, and ldquo;I want you to do for her what you've done for me. She's just restrained, and young, and doesn't know how to act yet, and she's doing it the way I was.and rdquo; I think her specialties are in endocrinology, bariatrics, and geriatrics. She is bright, she is very smart, she just doesn't have the bedside manner and the personality. I guess she is used to doing one thing at a time in a visit as an internist, but in my opinion, you can't do that if you are going to treat somebody in a GP style. As time has gone on I've joked with her, and she didn't know how to act with me at first, but as time has gone on I just kept on it. I think my heart doctor did talk with her about it, because I was ready to give up, but this last time, when I went in, she was fussing with me about my eating and such, and she says, and ldquo; If you don't stop this, and we don't get this under control and get you to eat right, I am going to put you in assisted living.and rdquo; I just looked at her, gave her a straight face and said, and ldquo;I don't think so!and rdquo; And she says, and ldquo;Got you!and rdquo; and started just dying laughing. That was the first time she's ever done that and burst out laughing like that. So I said, and ldquo;Well, well, well. We've finally loosened them buttons on that coat.and rdquo; And she says, and ldquo;Well it's your fault, and now you have to reap what you've sown.and rdquo; So then I told her, and ldquo;Ok, but now we have to work on more than one problem per visit, otherwise I'll have to see you every day for a while.and rdquo; And she says, and ldquo;I know, I'm getting there, I will do that.and rdquo; So I am still going to hang in there with her for a little while because she has come a long way. I gave her a B on office environment and staff friendliness because they have moved her around so much that she hasn't been able to establish a permanent staff for herself yet. We are still working on bedside manner and communication, but I know that she will be at an A soon.

    Mark Elkus MD
My shoulder had begun hurting and simply would not get better. My doctor referred me to Dr. Elkus. He exudes confidence but over time I began to see it was not bluster. He was methodical in our treatment strategy and tried a lot of different approaches before recommending surgery, months after I started to work with him. The surgery was my first and went well.

Home Instead Senior Care - Birmingham
A case manager came to our home to discuss our expectations, and what services are available. She was very courteous and willing to provide the care that my mother needs. They assigned a worker, who came the following Thursday. A case manager came as well, for a and quot;meet and greetand quot;. We have been using their services for about three weeks now, and are very happy with the efficiency and value.
