FStephen's ApplianceOn May 11, 2020 Mr. Stephen Wesson came to my home to service my Viking refrigerator. He ordered a compressor and a board. I paid him $2,500.00 in cash for the parts. He returned about a week later and was here about 20 minutes. I was outside while he was working. When I came in, he was finished and I said "already?" I then paid the balance and he left. In a few days, the refrigerator was not cooling again, so I called him and he returned on June 4, 2020. He said I needed a defrost heater and thermostatic map action. I paid him $274.74 in cash for the new parts. He said the parts would be in 7 to 10 days. I didn't hear from him for about two weeks so I called him. He said parts were still not in. I called him each week with the same results. Finally, after being without a refrigerator for over a month, I called Viking directly and they said the parts were in stock. I told him I would just order the parts. He said he would come install them. I received the parts in 2 days. I decided to have someone else come put the parts on and he agreed to refund the $274.74 by mailing a check. The new repair man informed me that my compressor had not been replaced, so I asked him to take photos of the compressor. He knew this because the compressor was rusted, dirty and the manufacture date on the compressor is May 4, 2008 which is the year the refrigerator was manufactured. I called the factory parts center where he had ordered the compressor and board and Justin in parts informed me that they did not send him a compressor manufactured in 2008. Compressors do not have a 13 year shelf life. I then sent the photos to Mr. Wesson and stated that he did not replace my compressor or board and if he would just refund me the $2,991.06 that I had paid him along with the $274.47 for the second parts he didn't replace I would just forgive and forget. He denied this and text me a copy of a sales order where he ordered the compressor and board. I told him that ordering a compressor and board did not mean that he had installed it at my home. On August 3rd he text that he needed to come check the Freon pressures at no charge since he had let some out on his last visit. I agreed and he returned on August 5th. I had my repairman here to meet him and show him the compressor was not replaced. He still denied this and left a check on my counter for $274.47 for the second parts he didn't replace. I am out $2,991.06 and scammed by Mr. Wesson.- Lisa D.

AMr. Appliance Over the MountainTwo days before our New Year's Party our refrigerator went out! We had just stocked up the freezer with food in preparation. Due to the holidays it was tough to find someone who had room on the schedule to have someone come out the same day but Mr. Appliance fit us into their schedule. We were provided a two hour window that afternoon and the technician showed up after a long day and having had to stop to replenish this stock. He took one look at the back of the refrigerator and found the culprit in a burned out relay and the good news was that he had just picked up a new one on his truck on the way over. The technician made the repairs even with our two Great Danes helping and "supervising" over his shoulder. The repair was quick, the refrigerator compressor could be heard coming and cold air beginning to circulate before he left. All in all I feel the compensation was reasonable especially considering the distance we live from town. Mr Appliance worked to get us into their schedule and allow us the time to restock and save our New Year's. The technician arrived when they said he would, was professional, knowledgeable and personable. We would use Mr. Appliance again.- Patrick M.

AMr. Appliance Over the MountainGreat Experience! Technician arrived precisely on time. Had part needed with him. Repaired the minor damaged part, bypassed the major part that was failing and recommended we start to look for a new machine, but left it in useable condition. He could have repaired both issues ( the minor caused the major), charged me a ton and I would have been "none the wiser" .Honesty Pays! I'll use him again and again! Also, we live way out, and there was no extra charge for the travel! Rare!- Jean M.

AThe experience was really great. The technician was very clear with his instructions and was able to follow the repairs as I did them. The only issue was with the initial setup of the video chat. But otherwise an incredible experience that I will definitely be using again. saved a boat load of money and I learned something!

Bwhen tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great

FAmerican Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R.

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
