    Robertson Piano
Recently my family and I decided to look into having our over 110-year-old Steinway grand piano tuned and serviced. Living near Carbon Hill, we thought this might be a nearly impossible task. We hoped to find someone familiar with Steinways, as well as someone willing to travel to a remote location. After searching the Internet and reading many reviews, we chose Robertson Piano for the job, and we are genuinely glad we did. Brandon checked over the piano and provided us with his professional assessment as to what the piano needed first as a priority, and then he advised us on what we might want to consider in the future regarding a full restoration. We decided to go with the full service appointment and deep cleaning. It had been quite a while since any work had been done on the piano, but Brandon brought it back to life. With the proper tuning adjustments and regulation, lubrication, voicing, and a deep cleaning, the rich, full sound and key action is back again! He even made some minor repairs and advised us on a plan to repair a foot pedal and to have the ivories replaced on the keys. Brandon's knowledge and attention to detail is awesome, and the charge for his expert services was very reasonable. The website's online self-scheduling feature and automated reminders were also very helpful to us in setting up a convenient appointment. Though it may be a little while before we can afford to do a full restoration, we certainly look forward to a long-term relationship with Robertson Piano in maintaining our Steinway. We really couldn't have asked for a better job!

    Robertson Piano
I was very encouraged by the professionalism shown by Brandon. He was on time and very nice. He even took the time to answer any questions and teach my daughter some of the techniques he was using. He also explained in detail everything he did and asked me if i was satisfied with his work once he finished. I highly recommend Robertson Piano Tuning. I know if there is ever an issue with my piano, he will fix it to my satisfaction!

Logisticially, this move was very easy...  62 miles and only 5 steps to carry the piano.  |  The owner of Oden piano stated that they were traveling to my daughters city to deliver another piano.  |The CASH was a red flag to me.... We thought 500.00 was extremely high and declined.  We received other bids on this move. | |Several days later, Oden Piano phoned back and agreed to move the piano for 400.00 dollars.  They were informed of all aspects of this move,  locations, door widths, steps, piano type and age, approx age of piano.  At no time did Oden piano ever request photos of our piano, doors, etc. | |Since Oden has the proper trucks with side storage clips, we agreed with their price of 400.00.  We still thought it was too high. | |Move set for Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014.  Two men arrived and immediately complained about the size of our piano, "too big and we can't handle this." |They were told it was a small spinet.   As I stated earlier, owner was told  |Repeatedly that piano was an old upright, very heavy. |Piano was move d out of our home with no trouble at all, put on truck very easily. |My husband and I left to head to our daughters home.  Several hours later the Oden truck arrived.  Three men were in of them being the owner. |He was very miffed...said he had to shut down his store,  wanted another 100.00 |due to 'extra work, extra size, loss of revenue.'     |The store was open because I called and it was open until 5pm.   We refused to pay any extra and he stormed out of my daughters home.....very unprofessional. | | | |
