    Dental insurance is never great and helps very little. His cost is high which is standard. His service is satisfactory. He himself is personable and competent. There is no waiting time to speak of. He makes room if there is an emergency without question. He does have an office and environment of some sort. It is a decent office. It is good. It is not overwhelming. He is highly punctual. His staff is fine. His bedside manner is unusually good and his communication is splendid. There is in fact a problem with the billing and administration, but it is not his fault. The problem is my wife died almost a year-and-a-half ago and he is continuing to send her a bill despite the fact that I think he knows she died. There is improper billing. Their normal billing is fine. He got a dental tech that does cleaning and things, but dental services are properly provided by the dentist himself.

    Very professional, extremely nice people with a new office that is clean and neat. I wasn't in there too long and they did a good job. The only problem I have had is they call and remind you too much of your upcoming appointments, through different communication options.

    When I moved to Tuscaloosa I hunted around for a dentist and initially picked these guys because the receptionists were really friendly and worked with me on an appointment schedule. Once I had my first visit, I was really pleased and have stuck with them since. I plan to do so at least as long as Dr. Taylor is there.
    I've had some bad experiences with dentists in the past, and don't have the best teeth. When I started out with Dr. Taylor, there were a couple of issues he took care of right away, and I worried a little bit that I was starting out with work since I've had a dentist that did unneeded work in the past to make money off me. That's a disastrous thing since you don't grow teeth back. However, he told me from the first exam the things he wanted to do, as well as breaking them down by and quot;need to do ASAPand quot;, and quot;need to do soonand quot; and and quot;will have to happen eventually but we'll just watch.and quot;
    The work seems to be good. I've had a couple of crowns due to previous damage and poor work from a previous dentist. He's proven to be expert at that sort of thing. When you get a crown, a standard process is to put it on as a temporary to test the fit and then when you're sure, to apply it with a stronger cement. The *temporary* crown has already lasted me for years, far better than I expected.
    When I've had a worry about a tooth issue, they've gotten me in fast. When I had an minor emergency, they made an appointment for me and also let me come sit in the office so if a time slot opened up I could just do a walk-in. It was actually good to see that they try to avoid bumping other people when they can, but they did tell me if it was a major emergency they would work me in more aggressively.
    Dr. Taylor is a wizard with pain injections, too. They always hurt but when he does it they hurt less, and don't hurt as long, as any other dentist I've had work on my mouth. I had to have some root canal work which they did not do, but I pretty much already had that set up when I started seeing him.
    The only time I've had problems was with hygienists there, twice in almost a decade. One was really aggressive with the floss and didn't really listen when I asked her to back off. The other was distracted by the TV in the exam room. Neither one of them appears to still work there, so it's not really an issue. Just in case, though, I always turn the volume down on the television and make sure to put it on the most boring channel I can. I'm not a fan of TV in a dentist office, anyway.
    Finally, they're almost always really pleasant and easy to get along with. And if you have to wait for somebody else to get work done they have a little single-serve coffee/tea machine in the waiting room. Like almost every place, the chairs aren't super comfortable and the magazines can only entertain for so long. But in all, it's good as far as being stuck in a waiting room goes. And when I show up for my own appointments I usually don't end up in there long.
    I feel weird grading anyone so highly, but I've been super pleased. I never like going to the dentist but they make it as non-annoying as possible. I'd rather never need their services but if it's got to happen, I plan it to be with them. Hands down, the best work I've ever had. They're not the cheapest, but they're not super expensive either. I try to shop for dentists based on quality. The most expensive part of it has been fixing work from other dentists.

    He is very friendly, thorough and patient. He explains things clearly and his staff is really friendly. When I first came in year 2009, I had some stinging in my cheek tooth, while taking food and coffee, and one of the staff, the older type, she said you haven't been to a dentist. I said I have and she was glad to see that I was keeping up with my appointments, even though I have been gone for years and she set her time and day and I looked like a movie star with my teeth perfectly white, they were shiny and I was so excited. And whenever I want they get me an appointment right away, which is the miracle of all miracles. Their office is clean it has plenty of magazines for men and women and children. The whole environment is just so nice, it is at a nice location to reach, just perfect. I love it, it doesn't bother you at all, whether it is a full facial x-ray or any other test, it's great. My root canal, she did a lot of work I was on active duty and I wanted my civilian doctor to do it, as opposed to a military doctor. My root canal was perfect after that day, I have to remind myself which tooth had the root canal. He did the root canal with a crown on it, it's perfect.

    The hygienist that cleaned my teeth as well as two of my children's
    teeth was very sweet, but I questioned if she did a good job.  It seems
    like the clinic is geared more toward very low income to indigent type
    patients.  You try to call and get an appointment and the phone
    literally rings and rings and rings.  My daughter had part of a tooth
    break during school and when I called to see about bringing her in they
    said they couldn't see her until March!!! Very poor service!

    He's a good dentist, good enough that I use him despite the fact that he is not a member of my insurance's preferred group and, therefore, insurance only covers 50% of his cost, which is a bit on the high side. He is professional, competent and responsive with the exception of a frequent failure to return calls. He is the best general dentist I have found in the area, and I have tried srveral

    From the waiting area to the patient rooms it is an organized facility. Comfortable waiting area with plenty of magazines to choose from, couches, chairs. The office staff are very organized and efficient.

    Every visit goes smoothly. They schedule well and generously so that there is little or no waiting, and for a regular check up I can count on being in and out within 75 minutes. They are also very responsive to emergencies and able to work you in if need be.

    I changed dentists about 5 years ago when I got married and my husband was using him so I tried him out. The office staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating in making my appointment. Dr. Roe always comes into the room after my teeth have cleaned to check behind the hygienist and make sure they didn't miss anything. I highly recommend him!

    They have been very good about working with payments and working you in when you need to be there. They're very nice people. They have vibration chairs to massage you and they do pedicures while you're waiting. They will clean your jewelry too.
