    AAMCO Transmissions And Total Car Care
    Transmission did not last 5 months or 12k miles, now warranty is not being honored. In March of 2018 my transmission gave up in my truck. My family had been using Aamco Trussville since the doors opened, so obviously I would trust them with mine. In July my truck started making noise one morning, next thing I know it had locked up tight before I could even react. Could not even turn the crank with a socket and all the spark plugs out. I called Aamco in Trussville just to make sure it couldn't be the trans they had just "rebuilt" . I was assured that there was no way a transmission failure could cause an engine to seize like that and they would be happy to price me some engine work. Being in the auto industry myself, I decided I would price and engine and install it myself eventually since I had another form of transportation to get me by. Well here I am in Jan. of 19, still in warranty. I have pulled my motor and behold, the transmission is locked up tight, WILL NOT TURN. Motor turns fine now that it is disconnected and has great compression on all cylinders. I contacted Aamco Trussville to tell them my situation and was fully expecting them to be gentlemen and fess up to their mistake. As soon as I mentioned it was out of the truck and I could bring it down for them to see, I was told it would not be under warranty because I pulled it. The only reason I pulled it is because we were all under the assumption (including Aamco) my motor was locked up. They are now saying they are under new management with new staff and can't take my word for someone else that was in the previous staff telling me what they did. Well, Aamco of Trussville is Aamco of Trussville.I just want my truck back. My wife is a stay at home mom and I've been driving her only form of transportation lately. This is a strange position for both of us to be in, I understand that. But whats right is whats right. I work hard and am an honest man. I feel like I am being taken advantage of and thrown away because they have all the customers they need. I know places like this, cant stand by the product, rotate staff. Cycle continues. I was also made aware that the man that rebuilt my transmission was fired because he was taking money and not delivering on the job or cutting corners. The owner knows exactly what happened to me and is not helping me one bit.

    Joe and his team were great! We knew it wasn't going to be easy because the Miata is so small and compact, you just don't have a lot of room to work. But they were able to do the install in a just a few hours and the system sounds great! I was really glad it worked out because two separate installers at Best Buy attempted to do the exact same installation, but about half way though the job they gave up and said "no way, we can't do it, it can't be done!". But not Joe! Thanks again, Joe!

    Lexus had a re-call on my dash board.  They replaced it with no trouble.  It is sort of sad that Tom Williams let a $65.00 part sour my opinion of them.  I paid them for the speaker cover, It took over two months for the speaker cover to come in.   Lexus said they would cover it.  Tom Williams would not give me my money back.  They told me to call Lexus which I did and Lexus instructed them to return my money to me.  The rep at Tom Williams took my credit card number and is supposed to be returning my money.

    I believe that they are honest and their prices are reasonable. They do little perks and do not charge me. They are always friendly and get me in as quick as they can. They will give me rides back and forth to my house. I am very comfortable with them.

    The owner of the company Matt Russell arrived on time. He was very clean with his work and fast. He had to move
    furniture and put everything back to the way it was before he was finished, it was like he was never there except the exceptional tinted windows. The windows enhance the view looking out. The price was very affordable for the service. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve there home.

    I have met 2 of the employees at Springville Road Tire and Auto. Don, I think is the owner is an extremely friendly man. Tim, one of the mechanics is a very friendly man as well.

    On this visit - they did exactly what I asked him to do. My elderly mother has older car with extremely low miles. He looked at car and low mileage and told me there was no need in putting expensive high mileage tires on this older car. He also stated that if it was him ��� that he would put a set of good - but reasonable cost tires on it. I gave the go ahead and left the car until next day.

    Next day, car was ready as promised. New set of tires mounted on front (as they should be). I was informed oil leak was simply a crush washer located where you remove oil. Brakes where OK and leaking flat was fixed. Where else can you go now days and have Christian men do honest work on your car and not try to run-up -the bill.

    I will return their will all my cars and I highly recommend them.

    (I left this out before this particular visit - months before I took this same old car to Don and asked him if squealing noise was water pump going bad - he looked under the hood and said NO - it was simply the idler on the serpentine belt! He said I would have to leave car. I told him I couldn't that day. Later that evening after looking at a YouTube video on doing this particular job - it did not look to be all that difficult to do - so I bought part and put it on myself. Sure enough that was it. I meant to tell him how I appreciated him looking at car and I would bring other business to him. I did and will continue to do so.

    The year above is son was around 16 at the time of the incident...but I never forgot the incident.  I took my teenage son's car in for repairs from a small accident and asked them to look at it and tell me what all was wrong with it..  While Gray Auto had the car, the lot was vandalized and my son's car was broken in to and the stereo system was stolen.  Mr. Gray called me and told me it had happened and then proceeds to tell me that he thinks one of my son's friends was the one that did it.  My son didn't even know where I had taken the car for repairs, much less any of his friends.  I was furious that Mr. Gray would make an accusation like that.  Then he wanted to know how much my son's stereo was going to cost to replace.   We had the paper work for the stereo but I got the feeling he was waiting to let me know what was wrong with the car so he could charge me enough to cover what he was going to have to pay me for the stereo.  I deliberately kept at him for an estimate before I gave him our receipts we had paid for the stolen stereo.  I could tell he was stalling.  Finally he started telling me the A frame was bent on the car and that he would have to buy a whole set of rims for the car because he couldn't only buy one.  I spoke with someone else about what he was telling me and really began to have doubts about what he was telling me was wrong with the car.  I finally took the receipts for the stereo to him and told him I was picking up the car without him having done anything to it. He did give me a check to replace the stereo but I no longer trusted him at all and it was a good decision.  There was no bent A frame on the car and no rims needed replacing at all.  I have not and would never use them again...ever.  Very dishonest!!!!!

    I would use Stewart Auto Service again. I called them around lunchtime and they were able to fit me in that day, and get my car repaired by 4 PM that day. They even replaced a broken vacuum fitting on my engine.

    Borella's is a small auto repair shop in our town. Any time we bring our vehicles in, they get to them quickly and do not overdo or overprice the work. We had the truck (1978 Chevy Silverado C10) in and out within 2 hours for this particular time. Great service, great guys, great prices!
