CWindow World IncWe are getting estimate now. However, we wanted an estimate on replacement of front door and to cover windows on side of door. We were told 12 weeks until work could begin. And, to cover the two side windows on the side of the front door, we were going to have to buy $1,000 of fiberglass even though we only need a very small amount due to the fact Windows World did not need it; but, we don’t need it either. I would have assumed this company would have extra Fiberglas on hand since they use the material for jobs??? So, the font door is out. We are waiting on an estimate for replacing a window. We were told the back four replacement would be around $800-$1,000; is this reasonable?- Terry W.

AMoore ConstructionOverall, it was a very straight forward and pleasant experience! From start to finish was smooth, Moore construction worked to fit everything into a budget I was comfortable with and could afford. The carport matches everything about the look and style of my house, the one concern I had was making the carport look like it had always been there. This was achieved better than I could have expected. Yes you can tell its new but in a few years of weather you will not be able to tell it's an add on. This build was completed in a very timely manner and did not disrupt my daily evening plans when home from work in the evenings. The job site was kept clean and picked up throughout the whole process. I want to point out that if I had known about Moore Construction before this project I would have gladly hired them. AECS Exterior SolutionsRobert (the business owner) was patient, approachable and communicative throughout the process. Our 1930's era house was a fairly complex job requiring a great deal of critical thought and planning; we were extremely fortunate to have found ECS. Robert has the breadth and depth of experience and expertise in construction that we really needed to get our house back in sound condition. In addition, we both Robert and his employees to be extremely professional, courteous, and honest. Our formerly crumbling old house has been transformed in a truly remarkable manner, not just cosmetically but structurally and functionally as well. The total job cost was fair, given the extensive labor required for our job. Additionally, the skilled craftsmen/carpenters (Jason and Lebron) who did the bulk of the work were incredibly talented and conscientious. Overall, our experience with ECS was so positive that we have recommended this company without reservations to family and neighbors. FArmstrong Painting & ConstructionIT WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE AND IT MAKES ME QUESTION ABOUT THE PROCESS THAT ANGIES LIST USES TO ASSURE THE CONTRACTORS ARE RESPECTFUL BUSINESSES. THE MAN I DEALT WITH WAS ISAIAH ARMSTRONG. HE WAS ASKED TO MEASURE THE ROOMS OF THE HOUSE ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR AND WAS ASKED NOT TO GO UPSTAIRS BECAUSE IT MIGHT NOT BE SAFE. HE WENT ANYWAY UPSTAIRS. HE MAY HAVE TAKEN A HOUR TO DO THE WORK AND FORWARDED ME AN INVOICE FOR $5,000.00 THEN HE DROP IT TO $2,500.00 THE $1,250.00. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT HE HAD NOT DONE AND WORK FOR THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY AND HIS USE OF PROFANITY AND THREATENING CALLS WAS HORRIFIC. I COULDNT BELIEVE HE KEPT WAITING OUTSIDE THE HOME SAYING IM GONNA REGRET NOT PAYING HIM. HE THREATENED TO PLACE A LIEN ON THE HOUSE AS WELL AND FINALLY SAID I WILL PAY FOR IT IN OTHER WAYS. I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A CALL LIKE THAT FROM NO ONE TRYING TO EXTORT CASH FROM AN OVERPRICED INVOICE. AGAIN I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO DO ANY WORK.- Walt L.

I needed my vinyl repaired on my chimney due to storm damage and he was able to hunt down matching siding (20+ years old) and did an exceptional job in a short time.
