    We arrived to our cabins and GLOBETREK travel had gifts delivered in our room, we were given wine at dinner, also compliments of GLOBETREK, all of our dinner and activity arrangements were all awesome, our group was seated together each night and we also traveled with a 5 year old and with it being his first cruise, things were organized and our cabin fit us all perfectly and slept 5 people.  We have been traveling with Globetrek for over 10 years and there has never been an issue or situation that was not handled with professionalism and courtesy, they always find the best rates and accommodations no matter how big or small our group has been. We have used them for groups as small as 2 and as big as 50 and things were always smooth.  I appreciate the effort that each and every member of the staff offers, although it is truly when you are fortunate enough to be taken care of by President and CEO, James Halphen himself.  This company offers "Worry Free" traveling!     We use AAA Travel Agency for all their services. They put together a trip package for us. They planned our hotels and they will preplan dinners. It's pretty nice. They were good. We were satisfied with the package they put together for us.

    The travel agent we deal with is associated with Pensacola Travel, but she works out of her home in Lillian. She is outstanding, professional and knowledgeable. She works with you. She will go the extra mile to try and find just what you want. We have used her in the past and we would use her services in the future too.

    Spending over five hours completing an itinerary for two employees, even after paying $32.50 agent fee for each employee, was completely ridiculous. I had to get my supervisor to attend the meeting with the agent's manager and the manager spoke over me and rudely interrupted SEVERAL times. I could not even get a word in while she was consistently blaming me that I should have communicated better with her agent. She tried to make a follow-up call and ask if things have improved. They have not and I am still dealing with the fact that I have to pick out flights for our employees even though that would be the agent's job. I would not recommend this company to anyone and suggest to their management that they should take a customer relations course.

    Go Ahead Tours
    The tour itself was good. The bus driver and tour director were great. They arranged for the flight and we paid over 2 months in advance. I have restless leg syndrome and requested an aisle seat. Everyone on the flight had a middle seat including myself. They split up all people on the trip, even me and my husband. I would not reccomend them.

    .There were six of us in the group.  We booked last August.  They were supposed to Fedex our Derby tickets.  They did not.  We had to badger them for weeks, starting in January to get the tickets.  The bus transfers for two days were supposed to be at the Hotel.  They were not.  The 800 number for Derby Deals was shut down.  We ended up paying for Taxi's.  We got off better than most.  They were reported to the police.  The police in Indiana said many people had no room or derby tickets.  The FBI is now involved.  Derby Deals will probably change their name so buyer beware.  The website is professional looking.  I would suggest going to a certified travel agent.

    Recently, the building has been undergoing extensive reconstruction, and this included the heavy use of jackhammers during the first 3 weeks of January. This, combined with grinding, pounding, and other noise essentially rendered the units unlivable for the entirety of January. Yet, the association still allowed condo owners to rent the units during this time. Many renters with month long reservations showed up, stayed for one or two days, and left because of the terrible noise. And renters are being refused refunds by the owners, despite the fact that Beach Colony and its owners could not fullfil their end of the bargain. This clearly constitutes fraud, since the units were unfit to live in.  Our reservation was for the month of January. When we made our reservation in September, we were told by the owner that only the balconies would be under construction, and the agreement merely stated that the patios would be closed off. No mention was made of the long-duration jack-hammering, or of the myriad of other inconveniences such as atriums being closed for painting on certain days, the beach access being closed, or the elevator doors being replaced. However, once we arrived, we quickly realized we could not stay there. The jackhammer noise was almost deafening. You literally could not hear yourself talk inside your own condo while this was going on. Regardless of whether they were hammering on the 15th floor or the 1st floor, the sound would travel through the concrete structure all the same. Also, the jack-hammering would begin as early as 7:00 AM, and not end until 4:00-5:00 PM. The owner refuses to return our money, and is ignoring all attempts at contact.  I feel Beach Colony should compel the owners who rented their condos during this time to give refunds.   Especially avoid the owner Mike D. Henney of unit E5A.  He is the one who did not give the correct scope and duration of the construction, and is refusing contact, or refunds.  We have found him to be very unethical, and he even falsely accused us of $400.00 damage.  I am livid about that.  This is his listing: Make sure you book with another owner. It is a beautiful place to stay otherwise, but watch which owner you deal with.  Not all of them at Beach Colony are ethical.
