My knee is still a problem. But it will require a Total Knee Replacement to repair it. I'm delaying on that. Rotatar Cuff Repair: He was unable to repair the Cuff using the less invasive arthroscope. The staples used to hold the cuff in place would not stay in my bone tissue. He performed an open repair. Recovery was uneventful and I have full range of motion after a couple of months of Physical Therapy. Broken Sholder: The break was almost at the head of the humers and was difficult to repair. A plate and screws were required. Recovery uneventful. I have limited range of motion in that I am unable to reach behind my back very far. Otherwise, raising, extending and forward reaching are fine.

    Juliet De Campos MD
Initially, I thought the pain was from stretching my arm to clean my husband's feeding tubes; however, when it lasted long past his death, and woke me up at night from searing pain and numbness, I decided to finally go to a doctor for some help. Dr. DeCampos was referred to me by a relative and she is not only very professional, she takes the time to speak with the patient to truly get a clear picture of what is going on. What I truly liked in the initial paperwork was the area about pain medicines and the patient's willingness to follow only the prescribed times, amounts, etc. which places responsibility on the patient not to just take more and more when not necessary. Her practice wants to be certain patients aren't in continuous pain but also doesn't freely prescribe pain meds unless needed. She also has staff that will walk you through the various exercises to help in the healing process and answer any questions about the various exercises and how to complete these properly to heal not hinder. I would most definitely recommend Dr. DeCampos for anyone with any orthopeadic injuries or sports injuries. The attention to detail and the time spent with the patient makes waiting a bit longer certainly worth it!

The surgeon was cautious and took a progressive approach with pain pills first, then a steroid injection with followup X-rays, MRI and finally rotator cuff surgery (one month after initial visit) followed by physical therapy. Overall, the most professional and competent medical group I have encountered. In addition, each person acts as if they are concerned about your personal well-being rather than treating you as just another patient.

Dr. Sellers is a very skilled surgeon. His rehab facility is owned by him and he can direct your rehab and can communicate with his therapist if and when needed.

The doctor I saw was courteous, professional, and did not seem in an overwhelming rush to get out of the room like many other doctors I've visited. I was very pleased with the actual care I received, but the office overall leaves something to be desired. I waited for maybe 20 minutes in the waiting room before I was called back to the exam room, where I waited several more minutes for the doctor to come in. This isn't that unusual and you're probably going to experience this at any busy (i.e. good) doctor's office. As I was leaving the doctor suggested that I get an x-ray just in case, and lucky for us they have a partnership with the radiological office right next door! This sounded just fine to me, like the doctor was covering all bases out of an abundance of caution. The bill I received afterward for the the x-rays was not fine however. I probably should have been more aware of what would and wouldn't be covered by my insurance, but I couldn't help but have a bitter taste in my mouth after paying so much out of pocket.
