    AAMCO Transmissions
Very fast, Very Professional, and they even had me come back 2 weeks later to make sure everything was settling in good.. It was expensive, you pay for their great service,, but the peace of mind is worth it knowing that my transmission has a warranty and someone who will stand behind their work.

Ron and Terry were GREAT!  I had brought my own tires to them and they had them changed out in no time.  They were friendly and wonderful.

    AAMCO Transmissions
The personnel at AAMCO in Anniston AL are very knowledgeable about transmissions, as well as many other automotive issues. I observed many people talking to the manager (Robert), getting his advice about various vehicle issues. The shop is always busy because many people in the area know the manager and his reputation.  When I took my vehicle there for a transmission issue, they dropped (removed) the pan and showed me the metal filings that were stuck to the magnet in the pan, and explained that this is a sign of a transmission that is destroying itself. Although that was not the news I wanted to hear, at least they were honest and showed me what was causing the vehicle to jerk. Unfortunately, it required rebuilding the transmission, which costs about $2900.00.  They do provide a 1-year/ 12,000 mile warranty, and you can purchase an additional two years/ 24,000 miles extended warranty anytime before your initial warranty expires, for around $425 including tax. If you are considering having another shop perform major transmission work, be sure to ask about their warranty. The last time I had transmission work done at another repair shop, the shop didn't repair transmissions; they just ordered a rebuilt one, and charged me $4900.00 to put it in.

    STATESVILLE TRANSMISSION SERVICE
Chad said the torque converter was stuck. He said that I could get to N J and back to AL and have it looked after I get home.  While riding to make sure it was ok, we found another problem that I knew I had but didn't know what it was.  It was a wheel bearing going bad. He fixed the bearing and was on my was.  I got to NJ and back without any problems.  He could have really had me for a lot of money if he weren't an honest and trustworthy service. No charge for checking out my transmission.  Honest and trustworthy, reliable services.  Thanks Chad (owner)
