    Bay City Tile
Rocky and Robin do nothing short of an excellent job. They did a large amount of stone work on our new construction home including exterior stone walls and interior stone fireplace and stone wall. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating in meeting us at a convenient time to quote the job and meet to discuss details. They are very responsive in answering questions and communicating details or concerns of the job. After not being able to get several masons to respond in a reasonable time it was such a relief to have someone who is so easy to work with. They listen to customer and did an outstanding job making our vision come true. They are very professional and work in a very timely and efficient manner, communicating expected start and finish timelines. Their work is exceptional, we are very pleased and have had nothing but raving reviews from every person who has been to the home. I must also mention they do a great job cleaning up the job site behind themselves, which does not happen with many sub-contractors and were very pleasant and friendly to deal with. My husband works in the construction industry and we would not hesitate to recommend them for any kind of tile or masonry work in the future.

He is a very friendly and personable person. He stands on the principle of doing what is right with quality work and fair prices and I will always call his number when I need top soil, gravel, sand, fill dirt,Driveways landscapes, homesites and septic system work.

    Perfect Touch Fence & Landscaping
Had trouble from the beginning getting someone over to give an estimate. We wanted a few gates fixed and two gates installed first. The gates were fixed quickly but when we decided not to put the fence up immediately the guy disappeared. He was supposed to come back in a couple of days to install some gates and did not show or call. More than a week later we called him and were given the runaround. Several days later he finally called about coming to install the gates. The gates look terrible. One gate works fine but the hinges were spray painted light tan instead of white so they stick out like a sore thumb on the white vinyl. The other gate is nothing like we requested. The gate looks terrible, hinges sprayed the wrong color, no latch, and not sure it even works. We told the guy we weren't satisfied and he went home to figure out how to fix it and how much it would cost. While we were waiting for this, we decided to go ahead with the fence. No problem getting him to show up for that! He showed up on time, got the fence done, and it looked great for two days. Then the wood started drying. Three days after the fence was up, the boards started curling and bowing. He overcharged for materials and used substandard wood. Instead of any attempt to make it right, he wanted to charge us more in labor to remove the planks and put up quality ones than we paid for labor the first time. We learned our lesson and are removing the substandard planks and replacing them with quality ones we purchased on our own.

    LH Excavaction
LH Excavation done a good job with the ditch and drainage pipe. During this time I discussed adding some river gravel for parking space and was given a price of $260.00 for the river gravel plus the cost of cloth, I told him to go ahead with it. After they had finished and left I realized that 2 windows(triple pane $500.00ea.) on the front of the house had been broken and one window had broken glass on top of the new river gravel. When LH Excavation came to collect the total bill was $3400.00. I protested the bill and then told him about the broken windows. He explained to me, that he was standing right by that window while his employee was cutting the grass to clear the way for the ground cloth. I explained to him that those windows were intact before he started . I  tried to reason with him about the broken glass and  shards of glass between the panes, he absolutely denied breaking the glass and stated it was already broken that it was an old break, he was oblivious to the fact that broken glass on top of the gravel was defining proof that it was broke only after they done the gravel. We argued back and forth to no avail. I was thoroughly discussed with his attitude. I went on to discuss the price and told him I was thinking that the total $1600.00 bid plus the extras and the river gravel about $600.00 plus the extra labor on the river gravel added about $1000.00 to the total and I would owe him $2600.00 less damages to the windows, and he went ballistic, he stated that he never quoted me a price and again we argued, I explained that the other bid I had got was $2700.00 and the only reason he got the job was because of his bid, he adamantly denied ever giving me a bid at all. I knew better than to have not got the bid in writing, he seemed like a very honest person and I trusted him. That was my mistake, I was in a contracting business and gave everyone a quote before hand. I tried to negotiate a reasonable amount by simply him asking what was fair and he paused a moment and said $3400.00. I paid him his money but I made it clear that I was not happy and the amount was not even close to fair or even reasonable.
