    Fuqua Jr, Dr. Thomas H.
He was great to work with. My son wanted to fly to Los Angeles the day following the surgery. Dr. Fuqua was upfront with my son and convince him to wait which I was very pleased with. We had no complications with the surgery. The office environment is extremely nice. They took my son into a recovery room following the surgery and I went into the office and discussed how the surgery went with Dr. Fuqua. They worked with us to fit around my son's school schedule.

Good. The wait was long but once he was in the back it didn't take long. We will use them again for sure. His nurse was very friendly.

    Ward, Dr. Jon
I went into the office in severe pain. I had not called ahead because I would usually lose my nerve. I walked in and asked Lana for the next available appointment. She could see I was in pain and asked me to have a seat. This was very close to their lunch hour by the way. Dr. Ward came out and talked to me, then I was led to a room. X-rays were taken and he gave me two options; (1) extraction or (2) root canal. He could see that the mere mention of root canal instilled fear in my heart but he said he really thought that he could save the tooth with a root canal. I told him my phobia of drills and he could do it if I was asleep. I said this jokingly. He said if he could guarantee that I would not be uncomfortable without drugs would I do it? I said sure. We numbed me with novacaine and told me to relax and close my eyes, not to open them until he told me to. He talked to me the whole time and I never once heard a drill or felt any pain. Before I knew it, he was telling me to open my eyes and I was done! No packing, no blood, no pain, especially NO PAIN! He gave me instructions for follow up and gave me a prescription if I needed it for pain later. I never needed anything but a few Tylenol the first night and that was it. Dr. Ward and his staff are the best!

I just moved to Alabama from Georgia and needed a new dentist. I called to schedule my 6 month cleaning and was able to get in on the date and time I wanted with no problem. Everyone was very friendly and the dentist was excellent.

I had my wisdom teeth and the bottom tooth in front of the wisdom tooth on the left side cut out about 2 years ago, and am going tomorrow for the consult to get the wisdom teeth on the right side cut out. My insurance doesn't cover the $400 to be put to sleep, so they gave me gas and shots in my mouth first, and it was really no worse than a filling at the dentist. I did get dry sockets on the bottom, which REALLY hurt, but I went back and they packed them for free, and gave me stuff to do it myself if I needed to, because it was about an hour from my home, and they were closing for Thanksgiving for a few days. They DID tell me that if I needed to come in, to call them, and someone would be on call, so that was nice to know.I was thinking of going somewhere else, because of the dry sockets, but everyone I spoke to said that if you are someone who gets them even if you do EVERYTHING right, then it's probably just your genetics and not the oral surgeon, so...since he didn't HURT me on the other 3, I'm going back to him for the last 2 and just being glad that at least the PROCEDURE part of it isn't painful. :)

    George Atwell DDS
Dr. Atwell explains the whole procedure. He sings as he inserts the butterfly catheter and administers the sedative. You are completley out. Then you are awake in a wheel chair with packing in your mouth. it is fast and they wheel you down the elevator and to your car if needed. Rechecks are great and the the staff and Dr. Atwell are terrific. Highly recommended. Almost everyone I know has had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Atwell over many, many years.

    John Hollingsworth DMD
I have used his office for about ten years. They get you in quickly and are willing to work with you. We don't have insurance so they work with us financially and will set up payments. They are good about getting us in when needed. His office and practice are very good.
