    Premier Painting and Carpentry
Anthony and his crew are awesome! I had to order a range and he told me who to call and he even went by to pick it up and brought it to the home and installed it. He was through with this job in 2 days. While he was there he saw more repairs that needed to be addressed, sent us a quote which was very reasonable. He's honest and does a great job. He even made photos of before and after and sent them to us. We will continue to use Anthony in the Pensacola area and surrounding area. He stays in contact via phone, text and email. He's always available.

    Day's Home Improvement
Fantastic, my wife and I are extremely satisfied customer! In the picture below, you see the lighting and fans installed, slightly dimmed, the custom media center that replaced the old gas logs and new ceiling and wall paints, and the sheet rock work to remove the fake fireplace.

Excellent, quality work. Professional. Not only did Ben do a high-quality job, he left the site exactly like he found it -- clean, minimal interruption to our lives, and neat. We will be using this business again over the years for several projects around our home.

    Integrated Renovation
Ben is amazing at what he does. Very professional and talented. He kept the area clean each day and did exactly what he said he would do at the price he said it would be. He was very upfront about everything and I never felt anything but trust that the work would turn out like I wanted it to. He did an antiqued painted finish on my kitchen cabinets that looked better than at the cabinet store. I am very happy with the work and would recommend him anytime.

    Restoration Style
Dan and his team were super. He started with a detailed estimate of the work he would perform and the labor cost. The fixtures, tile, paint, etc. were either bought by me with his consultation, or he purchased when appropriate and provided the receipts to me for reimbursement. His work was excellent. He and his team always arrived on time and always did a clean up before they left for the day so we could use our home as best as possible in the evening. They did a thorough final cleanup at the end. He was flexible and accommodating regarding any changes we made, and if he needed to add a charge, it was always fair. In summery, Dan was a great contractor. We are very pleased.

All Pro Painting and Improvement LLC
    I wasn't going to write a review
because I wanted to give the contractor the benefit of the doubt that
perhaps our experience was an anomaly. However, after much thought,
in good conscious I cannot withhold this information from other
potential customers, as I would hate for anyone to make the mistake
we did in hiring George Baird of All Pro Painting and Improvement,
    LLC (All Pro).
In the fall of 2012, I got quotes for
power washing and painting the columns and railings of our front and
back porches, refinishing of our front door and a wooden swing, and
touch up paint work on two interior window sills. Another contractor
and All Pro had comparable price points and both seemed professional.
While our first choice was the other, we ended up hiring All Pro
because they were able to start the work much sooner. The amount
paid for the work was almost $2700.
While the work was not exceptional, it
was decent enough (or so we thought) until just few months later,
when the paint started molding, chipping and peeling.
Sherwin-Williams paint was specified in the contract and should not
have had such problems. The contract guaranteed the work for 12
months, so we tried contacting All-Pro to address the situation. It
took several months of calling All-Pro and leaving messages for them
to finally return our calls and then it was another several weeks
before they came out to inspect the problem. When they finally did,
it was admitted that the paint should not be chipping and peeling.
At the time, All Pro blamed the problems on the paint and not on the
application. However, in retrospect, if this were the case, All Pro
should have had Sherwin-Williams address the situation as they
guarantee their paint. Instead, George Baird told us he would
repaint. This was in the spring of 2014.
By the time All-Pro was ready to
repaint our porch, it was June of 2014 over a year later from the
time the original work was done. At this time, we noticed rotting in
the bases of the columns (which I wonder now if the rot had simply
been painted over the first time). We decided that it was time to
replace the columns as well. Silly us, we agreed to have All-Pro
replace the columns. George Baird said we would not be charged for
the coat of paint since they owed it to us anyway. Another couple
months went by before work started.
To say that things went from bad to
worse would be an understatement. When we called George Baird on
these things, he assured us everything would be fixed and that a job
is not done until he says it is done. However, each time his crew
tried to fix something, it only made things worse. Furthermore,
since the work was wrong from the start, the only way to fix it would
be to start over completely, which they never did or indicated they
would. Even more aggravating, some things done improperly were not
even discovered until the job was started over from scratch by the
    other contractor.
    Despite business card verbiage of
?licensed?, All Pro Paint, LLC was not actually licensed to do
work in the City of Spanish Fort. Funny thing... they applied for a
    license after botching our job.
    Lumber used was not appropriate
for column work on a house. It may have been fine for a fence, but
not a house. It had knots, dings, and warping. When columns were
constructed, edges did not line up at all. When painted, knots and
dings showed through. Wood used by contractor who is redoing the
work is using kiln dried treated lumber, and it looks so much
Lumber was not properly primed. At
best, it appeared as if some kind of primer had been randomly swiped
across pieces of wood. A vast majority of the wood had no primer on
were told column supports would be reinforced as original builder
did not build with proper posts or stacked wood. Current contractor
pointed out that supports were not actually improved. In one column
the support was actually cut short, so it was not supporting
anything! In another, a 2x6 was actually removed and not put back!
inch gap between railing and column was filled with gobs of caulk
instead of re-positioning to a proper fit.
railings were put back on crooked and un-level.
railing not to be replaced in original scope of work was damaged
badly when they removed it. But they put it back on anyway and never
said anything about fixing it. When asked about it, we were told it
would be fixed, but nothing was done.
caulk looked terrible. Caulk was used to cover up gaps that were too
job was terrible: gobs of paint, drip lines, uneven strokes, uneven
coats. They even painted over staples in the wood!
started peeling right away. It would peel off in huge sheets,
revealing the lack of primer. George assured us it had been primed
and instead told us that the paint will peel if you scratch it
because it had not cured yet and needed 30 days to cure. To test
his theory, I checked again in 30 days, and it still peeled right
off. Current contractor confirmed the lack of primer, and also
suggested the possibility that an incorrect paint type was used.
we threatened to kick them off the job unless they could make it
right, all that was done in an entire day of work was sanding the
paint off of two columns. Given that the problems started way
before the paint, and that this approach would still leave us with
terrible looking columns and crooked damaged railings, we opted to
ask them to leave and return our money.
With the threat of legal action,
our money paid in 2014 was returned (half of estimate was required
to start work). WARNING: never contract with someone who requires
    Current contractor pointed out
that the front door and swing refinishing done in 2013 were actually
done improperly as well, but aren't worth fixing at this point.
We are still out all the money
paid in 2013 which was an inferior paint job, and we need to pay someone to completely redo our front
and back porch columns PLUS the railings because the 2014 work
damaged them and the paint work was so bad.
I suppose all we can do is learn from
the experience and hopefully prevent others from the same fate. The
most frustrating part of this whole situation is that I chose All Pro
Painting and Improvement based on Angie's List ratings. At the time I
chose All Pro, they had good reviews and a 2013 Super Service Angie's
    list award.

"...We did return their money for the full contracted amount as requested and specified in an email from them. They cashed the check..."   WE DID CASH THE CHECK. WE REQUESTED ADDITIONAL REFUND VIA ANGIES LIST AFTER THE NEW CONTRACTOR HAD TO REMOVE EVERYTHING AND START OVER, AND FOUND THAT THE WORK DONE BY ALL PRO WAS NOT EVEN SAFE (I.E. IMPROPER SUPPORTS, BRAD NAILS USED).

" Additionally, we left all the materials for the job with them so the new contractor, who was their friend, could complete the job...." WE HIRED A CONTRACTOR RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND. ALL MATERIALS LEFT WERE UNUSABLE AND HAD TO BE REMOVED.

.."We wish them the best and congratulations on their new child.  We stand on our reputation with many satisfied clients."  WE APPRECIATE THE SENTIMENT, BUT IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT THE CREW SENT OUT TO DO OUR JOB WAS INCOMPETENT IN ALL AREAS PERFORMED.

We were putting our house not the market for sale on rather short notice.  Benedict paints was professional, punctual and a good source of information.  They advised us on difficult problems.  They went out of their way to help us paint a rec room and bathroom, plus touch ups thru out the house. They fixed peeling wall paper. They stripped wall paper. They painted over new (orange - teenager rec room) wall paper.  Even had real estate advice due to spouse being a realtor.  Very helpful.

We were very happy with the finished product. They completed the work quickly and efficiently, and were reasonably priced. They were also competent and worked with us to obtain what we needed. We recommend them to others.
